elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.
Business as usual was all Kuto could say. The winter winds had been calming down and her ranch was now reachable without needing to cover herself up in scarves and jackets. Finally she could start making money again. She had been hoping to get moving on Yumi's continued chain breed but she was still waiting on the dragalge for the final moves to be bred onto it's spawn. Instead she at least had some basic common breeding requests and was ready to fill them out.

Usually, Akira preferred to catch Pokemon on her own, but she wasn't above occasionally checking out breeding barns to find an Egg that might be worth hatching. It was how she got her Farfetch'd, after all. As it just so happened, the mood struck her once again, and she decided to to look around the barns to see if she could find anything worth looking at. Eventually, she did spot an Egg for a Pokemon that piqued her interest.
A Swirlix. From what she knew, it was one of the recently-discovered Fairy-type Pokemon, native to the Kalos Region. She had heard that, despite it's rather derpy appearance, it was a versatile Pokemon with a surprisingly wide variety of moves it could learn. In all honesty, that was all Akira needed to hear. As such, she looked around until she found the owner of the ranch. "Excuse me, but I'd like to buy a Swirlix Egg, if it isn't too much trouble..."

Yumi walked proudly into the pafe ranch wallet in hand. Today she had quite the big purchase to make, 3 eggs and a rare catch from the safari. Grinning to herself she hopped up the path to the breeder she did so much business with, spotting her and her little assistant and waving to them both as she started pulling out her dots, placing 160 on the counter.
"One hundred for the goomy you caught, 20 for each egg.~"
Kuto's business was doing well this weak, not only was she getting rid of some old eggs, but a special request from her most common client and some newer eggs too. Glint was at the ready, grinning wide each time an egg was requested, rushing between the counter and the customer, taking dots and handing over incubators.
Kuto was also breeding today, and started jotting down notes on who she'd be working with, breeding a skrelp from a man known as zernebog...she'd have to remember that name.
Breeding: Skrelp (zerne/female, permission given) with male omanyte (egg move: toxic spikes) AND Kellal's female absol with Kuto's male Chespin

Prisca dashed towards the ranch with single-minded purpose. She had heard that there was an Omanyte or an egg of one for sale here for 20 dots, and she had effectively dropped everything and dashed over to the ranch for a chance to posses an egg of the Great and Mighty Helix Lord.
Practically leaving a fire trail, she dashed in, found an assistant, and placed the dots on the table, wild fanaticism aglow in her eyes as she called out.
"I heard there's a Helix Lo- I mean Omanyte egg here for 20 Dots? I'll take it~!"

Greetings, it's come to our attention that your breeding establishment has seemed to have forgotten a recent rare breeding ban.
Absols are not allowed to be bred until April, please replace the Pokemon in this breeding. If attempted again, you will be fined •80 for illegal breeding.

"Come on Calhoon, behave!"
Riding atop her tauros, a pokemon that, even though she helped it when it broke it's right foreleg, was never one to pay attention to her. It was bound to get her where she wanted to go but she'd also probably have some bruises to show for it too. She'd likely have rode rodrigez instead but he'd been off visiting some other dragons in the mountains. Apparently they had some history.
Luckily making it to the Pafe ranch Yumi recalled her pokemon with a quiet sigh, looking at it's ball and shaking her head as she walked in.
"Hey you had some stuff for me to pick up right?"

Kuto was still a little grumpy from the intrusion onto her ranch by the breeding ranger. She had apparently attempted to breed a banned pokemon, which baffled her because she was sure when she checked the lists that Absol was nowhere to be seen. No matter, she could please her clients in other ways. Right now she had one such customer, and was happy to oblige. "Here." Handing over a small metal casing and an egg incubator Kuto happily confirmed the trade. "Oh, and it would be a great aid if you could access the PC and let me use your froakie now for that final breed."

He flew in in a hurry as soon as he found out that there was a Froakie on sale. "Fif....Fifty.... dots for a Froakie.... right?" He really needed to start training his body, getting out of shape over running was bad.

Okay, having to travel to Unova right after a dig in Kalos was kind of inconvenient. If he didn't have the extra cash on hand, then this constant region-hopping was going to be a pain in his wallet. Thank Arceus he found the motherlode or else he might've been cursing up a storm right now.
He was called here by one of his more unsavory contacts. Something about a breeder having a very rare egg with a lot of fighting potential. A grass-type at that. Now... normally he wasn't one for grass-types -for pete's sake he only had one- but he was determined to expand his horizons to accommodate every type, like the fairy one that had been recently uncovered to the world.
That was why here was back here at the Pafe ranch. With a wry smirk, he raised his hand and knocked on the door.
"Yo? Is anyone here? I'm here for a... Chespin egg. I'll pay 40 dots for it."

Ramona looked at the Ranch questioningly, not sure if she was in the correct location. Indeed, it looked to be the address of the place she had heard off, but one couldn't be too sure with first impressions. "Hi," she said, inviting herself into the establishment. Normally, she'd love to catch as many Pokemon as she could with her own merits but, unfortunately, she was a bit short on cash to visit the Safari Zone. "I heard you have some rare Pokemon eggs for Sale. Does 80 dots sound alright?"
[Unless I'm mistaken, the deal is 80 dots for both a Froakie and Chespin Egg? Correct me if I'm mistaken]
