Golden light, tunnel white. If I run to you, would you stay? I might be a prototype, but we’re both real inside.
Click!
With a final twitch, both pokeballs glowed red, signalling a successful capture. A few moments later, they were bathed in a bright white light and then whisked off out of the ruins and probably towards his PC storage back in Sinnoh.
”And that’s how you take care of the trash, right guys?” Zernebog grinned as he turned towards his two pokemon.
Sentient trash, perhaps. Prometheus remarked dryly in both of his companions’ heads.
”Haunt~!” Erebus, on the other hand, laughed boisterously as he finished slurping on his little snack. Nothing like a victory meal to make his day.
”Yeah, that works too.” Zernebog shrugged. After all, it was harder to get rid of trash if it was fighting back.
Banter done, Zernebog turned his attention to James and his Poliwag. To his pleasant surprise, the duo had knocked out the two other Solosis by themselves. Granted, his pokemon had to soften them up for the duo, but it probably still counted. Not that he was going to tell them that.
”You two. Finally done, I see.” Zernebog drawled as he smirked. ”I hope the jello was tender enough for you two.”
Feeling the rain begin to finally ease up a bit, Zernebog sighed and stared at James and his pokemon straight in the eye. ”Okay, serious talk time.”
He dropped his usual smirk for an icy expression. ”I suggest you two go back to the entrance and go home, alright? Blondie, you barely survived the ambush here and it’s only going to get worse as we go deeper in, and I’ll be frank with you. I can’t have a liability dragging me down and possibly getting himself and his pokemon killed because he thought he was tough enough to try and tackle this. It’s hard enough keeping ourselves alive without throwing proverbial leg weights into the mix.”
“But if you want to continue, then by Arceus do so. However, no one’s going to bail you out if you get into trouble again. I’m perfectly fine with leaving a moron to the Mightyena. Quit and live or continue and die, it’s your choice. You seem like a sensible guy though, so I really suggest you take my advice and scram.”
Speech done, Zernebog did a perfect about-face and started marching deeper into the ruins, uncaring of what the other man was going to retort or do. He wasn’t his responsibility, so he couldn’t give a Rattata’s ass.
Wasn’t that a bit harsh? Prometheus questioned as he and Erebus followed along their trainer, though the former looked as stoic as ever.
Had to be done. Zernebog thought as he slowed his march to a normal walking gait. There’s something sinister behind these ruins, and I’m not about to let someone die in the crossfire in the war I’m probably starting.
The melancholic feeling of this place was quite vast and well renounced. The majority of this strange entity had felt quite like a powerful sensation that would build up time, over time, and over time. This strange feeling that could be felt throughout the atmosphere was quite prowess to others. Moving through a field of rubble there had happen to be many cracks that were in the form of spider web like cracks throughout the surface.
Heels, they could be heard as they echoed through the scenery, My lady please do be careful for if something were to happen I would be at fault, a voice was heard throughout the isolated streets of Steel City, but it was very tiny. A woman with snow white hair that was tied in the form of a high ponytail could be seen wearing something that was quite very outstanding: Wearing over her pale skin was a white dress with a logo on the back that was in the romanji word symbol for "Love" & "Hate," a side-less Japanese like skirt with red-trimming on the side, matching arm-guards, shin-guards, gold wristbands, white pull-on sleeves, white stockings, red choker necklace, pink belt, and a wakizashi sword that would be within its sheath upon her back with decorative red tassles tied to the back of the belt.
This woman had appeared as if she was a shinobi, but he was not. The woman was none other than Yin herself who had come alone, well, semi-alone to this "supposedly" said isolated City. She had heard of Ruins within this place and thought to check it them out herself. The woman who was famously known for music, acting, and modeling also did things like this? No one was to find out though of course for it would not ruin her, but it would only bring trouble to her own agenda as to why she was there.
Yin had been wandering for sometime now, but has had help from afar. She a communicator earpiece attached to her inner-left ear where she could receive info as to where she was heading. Folding her arms as they rested on one another she would walk casually with her hips swaying and her eyes closed as she focused cleared her mind, My lady can you hear me? You're not alone in the ruins for I am picking up another being on the way, please do stay alert at all cost. She would heed her butlers warning but did nothing to respond for he knew she was not one for much conversing when on a personal mission.
Halting for one moment she would see a man next to a Kirlia as she stood twenty feet away. Removing her arms from being in a folded position she would slowly begin to wander as her crimson eyes gave quite a stare toward the Pokemon and its human partner. She would stop ten feet away and said, "I take it you too are not here for sightseeing?" Yin spoke toward the trainer himself as she stood with an expressionless face.

Prometheus suddenly paused. There is someone approaching.
Gold eyes flickered towards the blue and white Kirlia. Is this one a threat?
Undetermined. He narrowed his eyes. She doesn’t seem to be radiating hostility… but then again she doesn’t seem to be radiating much of anything, really.
Zernebog mentally sighed. Great. Another tag-along. We might as well see what she wants.
He didn’t have to wait long to find out.
"I take it you too are not here for sightseeing?" Zernebog turned around and promptly raised both eyebrows upon what she was wearing. It was so ridiculously inappropriate for an archaeological dig of any kind that he couldn’t stop himself from mouthing off at the site of it.
”Obviously.” Zernebog stared at her incredulously.
”What about you? Did you get seriously lost from a cosplay convention or a cultural festival showcase?” He continued as he eyed the weapons on her person. He suspected that they were real, but if ever she tried to attack he knew at least five ways to disarm a blade-wielder, and if those all failed then he had two pokemon waiting in the wings for back-up.
Zernebog was about to continue his questioning when he suddenly saw a large orange blur pass by the both of them. ”Huh?” Gold eyes darted around as they tried to locate the orange blur. Beside him, Erebus was looking around in confusion too as he also spotted the blur.
A creature with extremely high power just passed us by. Prometheus stated in concern, frowning. Well, at least he knew that it wasn’t a trick of the eye now.
No shit, Theus. Zernebog deadpanned. Can you pinpoint the- OH WHAT THE?! His thoughts were suddenly interrupted as he felt a hard shove on his back.
Even as Prometheus flinched at the sheer volume of Zernebog’s surprised mental exclamation, the white haired man turned back to see just what had poked him, only to see the same orange blur and hear a decidedly evil chuckle before it darted away down the street. What the hell?!
No one was going to get away with messing with him, especially not some orange blur! ”After it, you two!” Zernebog spat as he began running after it through the slick city streets without slipping even once, uncaring of the woman who had talked to them earlier. His gut feeling told him that the orange blur was far more important than she was, and he knew from experience that it was right.
”Haunt!” Erebus floated after his trainer, somehow managing to match his pace with the speediest floating he had. Beside him, the Kirlia ran along while somehow still keeping perfect grace and poise.
Impudent, disrespectful, obviously not a cooperative person...how is he still alive again? This man has cold intent eyes that seem as though could pierce any one who was of the weak. Anyone of the weak not being Yin herself for she was unscathed by his comment. She simply stared at the man as he would respond with a slight remark and obviously she saw this man as someone not worthy of her time nor effort of getting to know.
WHOOSH!
Something flew by quite swiftly, yet what was it? Looking around as Yin began to wonder what it could have possibly been, something would poke her the next upon her back. Turning quickly she saw nothing, but as she was about to speak the arrogant rude male would shout with quite a scared tone. Something would fly by Yin once more, but as it flew by the male began to chase after it with his Pokemon, but as he chased the orange blur it seemed Yin would stay and look back at the Pyramid leaving the orange blue that held quite an immense feeling that even gave Yin quite a small shiver.
Even though the orange blur seemed to be important, whatever were inside these ruins also seemed to have some special qualities to be within the center of this town. So Yin would leave the orange blur to the male while she investigated the ruins, she believed they would soon meet very soon. Both the orange blur and that man were going to meet. Dashing inside of the Ruins she had begun to do so with ninja like steps.
Zernebog’s steps echoed loudly across the eerily quiet streets, breaking the monotony that permeated in the air. Behind him, a purple ghost and a white and blue ballerina-like figure were tailing him, the former by floating and the latter by running gracefully without making much of a sound.
It is… extremely difficult to get a bead on this… creature. Prometheus sent as he tried to focus on it and invade its mind, only to fall short each time. It is more slippery than a fish in water, Zerne.
Zernebog huffed. Just try to keep tracking the general vicinity of it, okay Theus?
Just as he thought that, he saw two figures standing in the middle of the road and was forced to stop abruptly, making him skid across the muddy, puddle-filled roads and inadvertently spraying them with a combination of murky rainwater and mud from his boots and the ground.
“What the hell?!” The shorter figure screamed as he turned around, revealing himself to be some sort of nerd armed with a facsimile of treasure-hunting gear. Beside him, a mohawked lizard creature with loose pants turned around and gave him an evil glare as well. “Are you here to sabotage me and my bro from finding the hidden treasure?!”
”Way to announce your intentions, dumbass.” Zernebog deadpanned, completely uncaring of the fact that he just drenched the guy and his pokemon. ”And what makes you think there’s treasure here?”
Instead of answering, the short guy pointed an accusing finger at him. “YOU WON’T FOOL ME! DEREK SAID EVERYONE ELSE IS AFTER THE TREASURE! PREPARE FOR BATTLE, SCOUNDREL!”
In another part of town, a huge muscled guy with dreads was walking alongside with a Machamp when he suddenly saw a hot chick wearing a weird cosplay outfit approach him, causing him to grin lecherously. Well well well… today was really his lucky day!
“Hey baby~! Why don’t you come over here and give me a lil’ kiss~?” The man grinned even wider as he ran a hand through his dreads and waggled his eyebrows. “I promise I won’t bite… unless you ask nicely.”
Beside him, his Machamp posed and emphasized his awesome body in order to lure the woman with a demonstration of his trainer’s great abilities and his own greatness. He may not be interested in human booty, but she might have pokemon he could do the horizontal tango with.
That man was one gigantic idiot. A released sigh was swept from Yin's breath as the man ran rampaging about at some strange orange blur, but whatever it could have been a Victini possibly? A Rotom? Those were orange, but those two Pokemon do not give off such an ability to sway those with goosebumps crawling upon their body. It had came to her knowledge that it was possibly a newly discovered Pokemon or perhaps one Pokemon that has been known to come upon earth quite often causing the ruckus within this place.
Leaving the orange blur to the strange man as she knew they would meet back up soon Yin would continue her investigation inside of the ruins. Entering the ruins she would notice that there were footsteps being heard from the ground level of her floor. Suddenly a man and his Machamp came parading toward her causing no effect of her emotion what-so-ever, but they were disgusting her truly.
Staring at them both as it seemed they desired...sexual tendencies to their need. Yin would toss out a pokeball calling out one of her Pokemon being a Male Seviper, "Seviper, use Haze." Creating a largely amount of smoke within the dense area Yin would cover the entire field with smoke at least being a good twenty radius feet. Silently maneuvering her way past the Machamp and the dread haired man she did so with her Seviper, who which would grab hold of the Dread haired man's legs tossing him into his Machamp as they ran, passing them both and soon getting away.
Yin did not have time for a battle nor did she come to battle men such as that man and his pokemon. She was her for one reason and one reason only. To discover these ruins and the cause of what is occurring within this place. Continuing their run together both her and Seviper did so.

Rise Rebel Resist
I'm the one of the freaks, the faggots, the geeks, the savages, rouges, rebels, dissident devils, artists, martyrs, infidels...
{ tags: Yin }{ words 605 }{ short notes: Interruption }
Zernebog was getting irritated. The idiot’s voice was really shrill and whiny, which alone would have earned him a glare. Combined with the fact that he was actually using a something with a Mohawk and loose pants to try and stop him from getting further into the ruins and investigating the cause of these strange hordes of psychics appearing, he was now getting tempted to teach this moron the meaning of power by flooring it with one of his pokemon and then breaking a few bones to make sure that the lesson stuck.
Before he was able to do that though, he was interrupted by the sight of written words and images forming in his head. Losing its signature. We need to catch up to it quickly, Zerne. To emphasize, a picture of the orange blur flashed in his head again, though it was clearer than he remembered it. Prometheus’ or Erebus’ recollection then, not his.
In response to that, Zernebog mentally scowled. Looks like he would have to leave his violent tendencies for another day. Pity, he really wanted to vent on this idiot. ”Sorry, dude.” He drawled in the most insincere way possible and outwardly smirked, making both the pokemon and the trainer bristle. ”But I don’t have time for this bull nor do I give a shit about you. Theus. Erebus. Get rid of them.”
“What?! How dare you underestimate our might, asshole!”The nerdy man growled and pointed at him with a shaky finger. “Scrafty! Kick their butts- oh hell what the?!” That was as far as the man got before his mouth was forced shut with an invisible force, courtesy of the Kirlia’s raised hand. Said invisible force then began pressing on his throat, making him choke and try to claw at his throat.
The Scrafty took offense to that and tried to assault the offending shiny Kirlia with a High Jump Kick, only to miss as his target vanished in a flurry of leaves. Not just any flurry of leaves, but ones that began assaulting his form like they had a mind of their own. He didn’t even have time to scream out in pain before he was suddenly stabbed by a disembodied hand, making something horrible pump into its veins that made them burn.
In retaliation, he turned around tried to hit the offending pokemon with a vicious right hook as Payback, only to be drenched in a strange, glowing liquid from the same disembodied hand. The very instant the liquid went in contact with his body, the Scrafty felt like his entire body went into shock as it felt like his body was set alight with the hottest and cruelest of flames. It was like swimming in magma, only it bet that it wouldn’t hurt as bad. In fact the combination of the liquid and the poison in his veins was so painful that he finally slipped into unconsciousness, coincidentally right at the same time that his trainer did too due to asphyxiation.
Once they were unconscious (and Zernebog stopped Erebus from eating their vulnerable forms), Zernebog turned to address the more important situation at hand.
”You still have a bead on the orange blur, Theus?” Zernebog frowned when Prometheus shook his head. ”Just great. We lost it.”
He then smirked. He wasn’t going to give up that easily. ”…but only for now. Lead us to the place where you last sensed it Theus.”
With that said, the trio left, with Prometheus leading the way to places unknown, leaving behind the unconscious and nearly-dead bodies of the idiots that dared challenge them.
After having quite a debacle with some stranger and his un-infatuating Pokemon, both Yin and Seviper would walk silently through the area. As she would hear within the right of her inner ear, which still held a communicator device inside of it, she would hear her flamboyant butler speaking to her, "Hmmmmmm, that was quite a trip there Lady Yin~" Yin didn't respond to him, but she heard him speak, "Have you any clue as to where you're going right this moment? If not I'd just stick with that random man you were with earlier, he seemed to know what he was doing." Giving a sigh she did not wish to speak with him as of anymore. Seviper would make a groaning like face for he knew the only person who could make her sigh was that flamboyant male nutler of her's. How annoying could he get?
The Butler would notice something upon the radar as he was outside of the area Yin was within, but before he could tell her something would severe there connection. A Xatu using Psychic would levitate the communicator earpiece from her and would crush it to pieces of nothing. Who did this Pokemon think he was? She could not forgive him. Dashing forth toward the Pokemon Seviper would Haze to create a cloud of black smog around the area. Hearing blunt noises being dealt the smoke would clear slowly as the Xatu could be seen unconscious. Did Yin just really beat a Xatu with just the sheath of her blade? Seviper wasn't very well surprised by this fact.
Wielding her sheathed blade she would notice Seviper create Haze one more time, but why? No one was around, but that until she heard the voice of a Lunatone. The Lunatone was seen above the two, but Yin could not see the Lunatone with all this smoke. Hearing a gigantic smashing into the ground there was a huge rock behind her, what was this? Rock Slide? She would quickly alongside Seviper maneuver out of the area running out of the smog. Looking back though the Xatu was still upon the ground and as she would take out one of her Luxury Balls she would toss one right at the Pokemon in hopes of catching it, did she?
While the Xatu was forced into the Pokeball she had to deal with this Lunatone. Tossing out one more Pokeball she would summon a Claydol, "Claydol, Teleport me into the air above Lunatone!" Teleporting her into the air Yin would be above Lunatone by four feet higher. Launching off from atop of the Claydol's head she would come down landing with a hard blunt from her sheathed blade on top of her Pokemon's head smashing it. Knocking the Pokemon unconscious she would do so.
Yin would toss a Luxury Ball at the Lunatone and had decided to capture it as well. Returning her Seviper into her Pokeball she would keep her Claydol out awaiting for her captures to be taken care of, but afterwards she along with Claydol would begin to move once more out of the area in hopes of locating the man from earlier.

Rise Rebel Resist

{ tags: Yin }{ words 1020 }{ short notes: To the Rescue }
”Ack!”
Zernebog suddenly skidded to a halt again, this time falling to his knees at the end of it. Normally he would be horrified at how clumsy and undignified his stop was, but his head was too busy imitating what an exploding watermelon felt like for him to even give half a shit about it right now.
Golden eyes looked upwards, unseeing of the thick vegetation above them. Instead, they were being assaulted with visions of a huge, weather-worn rock that was blacker than anything he’d ever seen and gave his spine violent shivers and made the hairs on his arms and the back of his neck stand on end, followed by a several very powerful presences surrounding it along with a feeling of something he could only describe as greed, hunger, and fury. Those didn’t last long before he was suddenly assaulted by an oily clawing presence in his head that made his heart clench and his head feel light, along with a vision with some sort of brown creature before everything faded into gray. It took a few seconds for his vision to return
”Ow....” Zernebog groaned as he pushed himself to his feet, clutching his head with his free hand. ”The hell was that info dump for, Theus? I thought we agreed years ago to never ever do that again, especially in a place like this. You know I’m not psychic so my brain ain’t built to handle that much information at once from you.”
In response, Prometheus smiled at him apologetically before staring at the buildings to the right before gesturing to his head and then to it. Zernebog’s eyes widened. ”You mean to tell me that all of the shit in your little impromptu mental slideshow from hell is very near us in that direction?!”
Prometheus nodded and sent him very hesitant vibes about coming with them outside of his pokeball, before flashing again to the meteor and the clawing presence. ”Right. So you don’t want to be a liability, huh? I understand.” Zernebog finally uttered after a moment. ”For now though. Once the creepy thing that tried to get into your head has been neutralized, you’re gonna go back in the field.”
Prometheus nodded once again. As much as he hated abandoning his trainer and turning tail, it was absolutely necessary because he might get possessed by the enemy. In fact, even from here he could feel two presences tugging at his mind, goading him to give into the temptation and betray his friends.
As reluctant as Zernebog was to do it, he knew better than to ignore the -painful- warning that Prometheus gave him. If there was anyone’s opinion he trusted, it was the Kirlia’s, and he wasn’t about to start doubting him now, so he wasted no time in putting him back in his pokeball.
Golden eyes flickered to the pokeball in his hands for a moment before he placed it back in his belt. He steeled his jaw as he pulled out three other pokeballs and released the creatures within in three bright bursts of light that solidified into a small black and red fox, an upright blue, black, and yellow jackal, and a black and red dragonesque winged reptile.
”Gentlemen, we are going to go inside the heart of the enemy’s territory in a few minutes.” Zernebog began as he looked at the assembled pokemon. ”Theus won’t be able to provide fire support or even help guide the battle that’s probably ahead, so we’re going to have a game plan, guys. Here’s what we have to do....”
After explaining the plan to his pokemon, Zernebog had climbed to the highest rooftop near the vicinity of the center in order to get a great bird’s eye-view of the fight that was about to happen. Erebus was with him to act as back up just in case someone needed back-up or if anyone tried to violate Zernebog’s mind like they tried to do with Prometheus. Normally he would be in the thick of things, but he wasn’t stupid enough to risk that with a bunch of Psychic-types in the area, especially one that could probably take over his body or something like some malignant ghost-type.
Suddenly, the entire area became bathed in bright sunlight that pierced through the leaves. A huge, shadowy form swooped down from the heavens and fired off a beam of light straight at the floating sentient mini-moon before flying up into the heavens again.
Then a blue and black form dropped from another building and tried to hit the blue bell with a powerful sphere of concentrated blue energy that rocketed towards it with impressive speed. Instead of falling tot he ground though, after the blue form fired off the shot, his body took on a faint yellow glow as it reversed directions and took to the skies.
Meanwhile, an Arcanine waited in the shadows until it looked like the strange brown creature was completely distracted by the Claydol and Seviper as well as the other on-goings before launching a powerful pitch black shockwave from his mouth, aimed right at the brown creature. Whether or not it hit, he had a few choice words to say to it. Or rather her, if his nose -and Prometheus- weren’t lying to him.
”What’s the matter, toots~?” The Arcanine grinned tauntingly as he stared down the brown creature from his perch. ”Is glaring the only thing you can do? I’m not surprised to see that. I mean, are you even a woman?”
{Battle Summary}Charizard uses Sunny Day to change the weather to Sunny and then attacks Lunatone with a SolarBeam (instantaneous charging due to weather.). Lucario fires off a STAB Aura Sphere at the Bronzong and then flies off with Magnet Rise. Aura Sphere cannot miss. Arcanine (Zorua in disguise) fires off a STAB Night Daze at the Beheeyem and then Taunts it. Night Daze has a 40% chance to lower accuracy and Taunt only allows attack moves to be used if it lands.
These Pokemon were annoying. Yin didn't have time for this, so, returning to her were the pokeball's she had just tossed at toward the Pokemon. As she would place them back inside of her pocket she would suddenly have her entire body glowing in blue. It seemed as though the Pokemon had been attempting to cripple Yin as he would soon toss her toward a wall. Yin would stand up shakily, but wasn't down for the count. Each of Yin's Pokemon were soon to be in trouble, she had to act fast.
Yin would notice the Pokemon each ganged upon them with insane attack's. Yin wasn't sure if she could stop this, but then she wouldn't give up. The Leader of Cipher doesn't allow such acts to befall upon her, "Claydol, Cosmic Power!" Claydol's body would begin to glow a multitude of color increasing his defense and special defense. Claydol would notice the Fire Spin hurdling toward him, but would cut it off using Ancient Power the next. Claydol would form a glowing white ball of energy hurdling it toward the Fire Spin as it would counter the effect's smashing through it and hailing toward Solrock, would it hit she was unsure. If it did hit, Claydol could cut off the usage of Solrock's Heal Block.
Seviper would be next, Bronzong attempted to use Confuse Ray upon the both of her Claydol and Seviper, but with a snap of her finger, "Oh no! Bisharp, we need you!" Tossing a pokeball into the air Yin would call upon Bisharp. A Pokemon of quite a Knight like appearance would kneel before Yin arising slowly, "Quickly, ALL OF YOU COVER YOUR EARS! Now Bisharp, use Metal Sound!" Bisharp would nod and began to rub its arms together as silver colored sound waves began to spread out through a large ranging field currently with the allies and enemies inside of it. Yin would hold her ears as her Pokemon would begin to do so as well, with this ability functioning it should have disrupted the current movements of each Pokemon upon the field.
Ceasing the sound Bisharp would jump flip back standing beside Yin. As Yin would stand up with the help of Bisharp she would notice Lunatone trying to Hypnotize Claydol, but Yin would quickly watch as Seviper would maneuver quickly using Venoshock upon the Lunatone in hopes of not only gushing out green gunk upon it, but poisoning the Pokemon as well. Yin would watch in hopes of the shot making the Lunatone become poisoned, but turning to face Beheeyen Claydol would be drenched within Miracle Eye alongside Seviper afterwards.
Yin would gasp for a moment as the two would maneuver toward her side standing next to both her and Bisharp.
Yin would turn her attention toward Seviper the next as she would hold out his Pokeball and returned him back inside, but turning toward the rest of the Pokemon Yin would stand, "No more carelessness. Time to summon Weavile and Absol! Both of you aid your mistress!" Tossing two Pokeball into the air a white flashing beam of light would summon an Absoul and a Weavile.
"Battle Gauge, analysis! Opponent's are Xatu, Bronzong, Beheeyem, Lunatone, and Solrock. Absol, steadfast in front of me. Weavile, prepare to use Dark Pulse upon the Xatu. It is essential we take the Xatu out, but also stay focused and be prepared to use Revenge upon the Bronzong." Standing guard before Yin Absol would take it's position. Weavile would begin to charge a Dark Pulse within the palm(s) of its hand.
Before attempting to even make another move Yin would turn look for a moment to the skies, unidentified allies? She had not a clue what was going on, but it was quite bright the next. Closing her eyes as the sun was shining she could not do a thing at this time, but whoever was doing this. It seemed as though they were allies of power.
Metal Sound ineffective due to lack of a defined target. Allied Pokemon are not immune to its effects should it strike a nearby enemy.[/ul]
[/tbody]
[/div]
