I KNEW LOVE'S PERFECT ACHE A CITY SURROUNDED BY ROARING WAVES. The gentle rocking of waves dove into the sky and in the late evening of June, the clouds had come to overcast the sun. Golden rays peaked from behind the clouds, creating a view of what Humans had come to reference as the gateway to Heaven. However, as of late, Bayondaville was stuck in the middle of God's wrath. For unexplained reasons the city would soon be in ruins. Large thunderstorms and unexplained rainfall had plagued the city, causing the gentle waves to grow more vicious with each days passing, it could only suspected that these waves would soon morph into a deadly tsunami that would tower over the city and wash it under. Though, not a member of the research committee, Giovanni had been alerted of this forcing him to venture into the city in order to find a source behind this new phenomena. But right now, he had found nothing. Not a single clue that could lead him to the source. Moving through the city streets, his black trench-coat made him stand out among the citizens. He was never one for dressing down, no matter how harsh the weather was. Hell, he didn't even plan to take a dip in the beach, but in the case that he did, he had brought a spare change of clothes in his backpack. From behind black sunglasses, red gems glowed brightly making sure not to make eye contact with the many eyes that looked down on him. A low snarl escaped his lips. He wanted to rip the heads off half this city's citizens, but unfortunately, he knew it would be wrong to do so. The city already had enough going on. Continuing, he would finally stumble upon the docks causing the smell of putrid fish to fill his nostrils. He gagged. The smell that emitted from this city made his skin crawl. Placing his hand over his nose, his eyes trailed down to the Gourgeist that stood at his side. Orphne had no quarrels with the smell, frankly, she seemed to enjoy it more than anything else. Although Giovanni couldn't help but assume this was a facade, or she was smelling the ocean waves rather than the smell of fish. Crouching down he patted the little brute on her head before turning back towards the city and continuing on. Finally, he would make his way to a small ice cream stand where he would buy himself a sundae and a small cone for Orphne to keep the little demon from nibbling on his plate. Taking a seat, he rubbed the base of his neck and looked up at the sky. "This place is rather boring, no." | GIOVANNI ZOPPÉ WORDS: 466 |
