elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

With 6 days until Christmas, Josh was getting antsy. Was he looking for Typhlosion, or maybe for Blissey? Truth was, Josh had begun dabbling in becoming a Trainer of Dragons. But was it Deino, Skrelp, or even Bagon? Who knew? Truth was, Josh's collection of dragons had begun to grow. And this place was great for collecting some of the ones he was still looking for. Lightning stood by his side, walking through the cave with him, to which he would till the end of time.
But would these two travelers, partners, find what they seek? A new friend, a new ally, a Pokemon that would one day hit their peak. Or would they come up short once again? Or worse yet, perhaps... Would shit hit the fan? Josh recalled not-so-fondly the result of the last escapade. Catching Ditto had been important, yes, but it had been an incredibly close call. Not one he was hoping to repeat.

As the dynamic duo continued their walk through the cave, Josh froze as he heard something. It sounded like a digital monster having some kind of seizure. Or better yet a computer going haywire. Speeding up, he found what ended up being the case. A Porygon, stuck under a pile of large rocks. Josh took a deep breath before he would send out two of his Pokemon. "Go, Fawkes, Inferno!" Josh called as he brought out his Charizard and Typhlosion. "Hurry, get those rocks off Porygon!" He commanded and the two titan fire types would quickly get to work. The Porygon had been convulsing as it tried to get out of the rocks, but seemed to be near killing itself in the process. Finally, the two fire types would free the Porygon, who would fly around the area before looking down at them. "Porygon!" It let out in thanks before it went on it's merry way.
Josh smiled a bit, happy he'd done the job. "Merry Christmas, Porygon" He said quietly before he would look over to Fawkes and Inferno. "Great job you guys, return" He said as he returned Fawkes and Inferno to their Pokeballs for a much deserved rest.
[Two points for Digimon and Banned Episode references!]

Josh would happen to pass an Axew playfully running by, chasing another Axew. He would smile, faintly. He couldn't help but be reminded of the two Axew he had at home. They were like little brother and big sister, as the older female Axew had taken a liking to his younger male Axew and had been playing with him all day as if they were brother and sister. They weren't related, of course, but it was still adorable. Josh couldn't help but be reminded of them when he saw these two Axew playing together, and smiled once again.
"Come on, Lightning. We don't want to disturb them" He said quietly, and the Pikachu would nod as they continued on. Josh reminded himself that those Axews might need a bit of training, and he hadn't gotten around to it like planned. He made a mental note to add at least one of the Axew to his training list after he was done with his current group of prodigy Pokemon.

As they walked, Josh noticed a weird stone on the ground. He couldn't help but feel a strange, ominous presence coming from it... "Pika..." Lightning whined, pulling on his leg, motioning for them to keep moving. Lightning could sense it too, and knew it wasn't good. It was best they kept moving, the Pikachu had decided. For both their fakes. Josh would stare at it for a moment, seeming to consider if he should investigate. I mean, what was a strange stone like this doing in the Safari Zone? But... In the end, temptation did not win out. Josh would nod over to Lightning and they would continue their trip.
As they walked away, a pair of eyes would erupt from the stone, watching the two travelers, the Trainer and Pokemon, pass by and walk away. It was disappointed they hadn't fallen into it's trap so that it could attack...

[Using Repel]
"Hey, isn't that the female Axew we saw earlier?" He asked, noticing that one of the Axew from before (I totally regret NPCing a second one earlier to make a story) was wandering around, seeming to be looking for something. "Hey little one, are you lost?" Josh would ask, leaning down to the Axew's level. The poor thing would get spooked and cower in fear, but once it saw that Josh wasn't attacking, it would peek out of the rock that it had just hid behind. "Are you looking for your friend?" He would ask. The Axew would nod, before looking around.
"Well, I saw you guys just back there earlier" He said, pointing back. "You think maybe he's back there?" He suggested. "Axew!" The Axew would let out, and started heading back. "Axew!" Another Axew would call from back there, and the Axew would gasp before running toward the sound of the voice. The sound of cheering Axew made Josh smile faintly, not realizing that soon after, he'd accidentally smashed one of his repel bottles on his belt on a wall rock, causing it to spray around.

[Using Paint Spritz]
"What the hell is..." Josh began as he saw a Beldum, but this wasn't colored the same way as his Beldum, which was white. It was odd though... It was gold, with green eyes. He'd never seen a Beldum like that anymore. And with his time about to be up, he knew he had no choice but to catch it here and now!
"Go, Buddy!" He said as he tossed a Pokeball, bringing out his Houndour. "Dour!" Buddy let out in a growl toward the Beldum, who would notice Buddy and go sailing toward him with Take Down! "Dodge, Flamethrower!" Josh would command. The Houndour would quickly step to the side, before shooting a heavy jet of flames toward the Beldum that would clip it from behind, causing it to crash into the wall from it not being able to react correctly in steering after being hit by the Flamethrower! "Thunder Fang!" Josh called. "GRRRAAAAOOORRR!" He let out as he would charge toward it as it slid down the wall, leaping up as his fangs would spark and slamming his fangs into Beldum, electrifying it. "Howl, then Crunch!" Josh let out. "HOOOOWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!" Buddy would let out before sinking his fangs into Beldum, who couldn't escape. "Now, finish it with a close range Flamethrower!" Josh called.
Buddy would unleash a Flamethrower with Beldum still stuck in it's mouth. Even if Crunch wasn't doing much, Flamethrower certainly would. The Beldum would stop struggling and go limp, and Josh would toss the Safari Ball as Beldum would fall to the ground once he let go of him.

The Beldum had escaped, and Josh would grit his teeth as it came back with another Take Down! "Buddy, counter it with Flamethrower!" He commanded. "DOUR!" Buddy let out as he unleashed a large jet of flames toward the Beldum, hitting it and hitting it, but it kept going! The Beldum would collide with Buddy, sending the Houndour back. "Quick, use Thunder Fang!" Josh called as the Houndour's fangs would spark again as he managed to ram himself into the Beldum, this time electricuting it once again. "Flamethrower!" Josh quickly called. "DOUUUURRRR!" Buddy let out as he unleashed another heavy stream of fire, hitting Beldum as it went for another Take Down. This time, Beldum would begin to weaken.
"Dodge!" Josh called as Buddy would move to the side as the Beldum, with jets out of it's back, would sail by him! "Crunch!" He called as Buddy would charge and ram a fang into the blasted golden Beldum again, slamming it into the rock wall. "Quick, another Flamethrower!" Josh called. "DOUUUURRR!" Buddy let out as he loosed yet another Flamethrower, pinning Beldum to the wall with a stream of flames. Josh would quickly throw the Safari Ball again.
