Just far off shore, there's a small island with a single palm tree. Many adventurers try to make their way over, either by flight or sea, but end up washed back up on shore or returning defeated. There's a monster below guarding her treasure in a sunken submarine. Many of the locals will deny that the legend is true because many of them have tried and failed to take the treasure from below.[break]
[break] The legend of the beautiful maiden is nothing like it's told. The eldest fisherman in the village knows but he passed on five years ago. That in reality, the monster below is a lonely Milotic guarding her master's belongings. While there is a small amount of treasure, the Milotic guards her master's toys and her own, old Pokeball. There's a young man who lives near the shore and runs a small fishing poll shop, the grandson. He, much like his grandfather is the only one who has been able to get near the small island and is the only one who knows the truth. His great great grandfather was the Milotic's owner. The Milotic's real name is Nessy and to this day she continues to guard her treasure.

BAYONADAVILLE[attr="id","townname"]
CITY BY THE SEA[attr="id","towndesc"]
[attr="id","town"][attr="class","columns"]
Wastin away again in Bayonadaville. Searchin for that lost treasure of ...salt. This beautiful little sea village is a cross between tropical getaway and lazy coastal fishing village. Boating is huge along with the fishing industry, followed closely by tourism and treasure seekers. It's a honeymooners paradise and a beautiful escape from the world with an endless horizon. Truly, a natural wonder to behold and witness first hand. They say you can lose yourself in Bayonada and the locals can tell you that the rumor is true. Bayonadaville has a seductive attraction all her own that bewitches and spell binds some of her visitors from time to time, charming them into giving up everything and staying with her.
When she's not seducing the pants and skirts off the traveler Bayonadaville is a hardworking nearly self sufficient area who's survival sits on the locals, their beliefs and the fishing industry. A bad day out on the boats could spell trouble for the rest of the week or more. Which is why the song and prayers of the sea are taken very seriously. "We came from the sea and one day we'll return to the sea." An understandable life idiom for the people and one that can be easily accepted and smiled at.[break]
[break]
One strange little factor you'll notice or perhaps not even realize is that there are no graves in Bayonadaville. All of their dead, every last one including Pokemon, everyone of them having been cast out to sea in the fire ritual. To be in Bayonadaville when there's a death is truly a remarkable experience. To watch the family come together and create the pyre as the body is prepared in the ancient fashioned balsa wood and dried palm leaf casket adorned with floral head dresses and painted memories of those around them. They're brought to the pyre and at sunset cast off out to sea before being lit a flame. The family and close friends all standing along the beach and pier watching them ascend into the heavens while holding a blue or green glass in hand the size of a scotch tumbler. In it is the funeral fire water, a Bayonadaville ale that is never marketed and made specifically for the sending. Everyone including the young children who are only given a sip are to drink it while saying their good-byes. Beautiful, moving and holding an enchantment all its own before they turn heading back to their favorite bar, restaurant or home for a clambake. The next day, for the most part, things turn to normal for most apart from those who were extremely close and still need time grieving.
[break]
The working atmosphere that permeates Bayonadavill's open seas looks less like a job and more like fun. The sailors and sirens can tell you that it's just Bayonada seducing you into her hands hoping you'll fall in love with her lazy, hazy comfort zone. If you're ever looking for a place to just get away from it all and let your worries be washed away Bayonada is the place. Famous for its laid back atmosphere and colorful coastal venues and where creativity runs wild. Bayonada is a self made city, that can be immediately visible in the architecture. Pieces of old ships both famous and forgotten are taken apart and refurbished into stores, restaurants, city buildings, storage and homes.
[break]
A boat housing community has taken residence in the old marina called Fiddlers, short for Fiddler on the Reef. It's a village unto itself where the piers become the sidewalks and planks connect you to your neighbor. The christenings and cast offs are a big deal in the Boating community, moments that are celebrated and welcomed as family's and friends come and go constantly when the time is right for them to move on to new waters.
If you're not much into being lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of the waves try staying inland. The Ivory Coast is a section of white washed and sun bleached homes built right on the cliffs of Bayonadaville. Tiny sunrise and sunset apartments with colorful sheet draped roofs meant for private sunbathing and other invigorating activities play up the lazy factor. It's easy to just become lost and spend the day watching the sea from this view.
At night however is when the fun really begins, starting at sunset Bayonadaville rolls from a tranquil and busy working town to Party-ville. Beach bonfires, Pig roasts, seafood buffets, bars and more tropical drinks then there are umbrellas suddenly wake up from their daily hangovers to start anew. You've never seen something quite so beautiful until you've seen a tequila induced sunrise.

WAILORD Sanctuary of Friendship
HOURS: 7:00 AM - 8PM, OPEN DAILY
ABOUT THE WSOF
The Wailord Sanctuary of Friendship is many things - a Pokemon reservoir, a park, and living space. A very large bit of sea and some land in the Bayonadaville area, not too far from the main town itself, the Wailord Sanctuary of Friendship flew up in an unexpectedly short matter of time, the lazy atmosphere of Bayonada not slowing its construction. A Pokemon Sanctuary, the purpose of the Wailord Sanctuary of Friendship (WSoF) is to care for Sea Pokemon, prevent the abuse of their ecosystems and their lives, and to bring friendship and happiness to both the humans and the Pokemon of the world.
[break][break]
Funded by the Rosenbach Corporation and founded by William Rosenbach, the Wailord Sanctuary of Friendship is comprised mostly of sea, with many different water-based ecosystems - a small coral reef, shallows, mid sea, and algae/kelp colonies and so on - within it. On the coast are the many facilities that run the Sanctuary - Pokemon caretaking facilities and supply storages. The reservoir has a park area for the public to visit and enjoy the Sanctuary, relishing in the greatness of friendship and the sea. Finally, the living space for William Rosenbach and Sis are also on the Sanctuary. All of Rosenbach's Pokemon live and coexist in the Sanctuary, functioning as supporting groundskeepers and aids to the Sanctuary.
[break][break]
A no-abuse zone, poachers are kept off the grounds completely, this provision supported by the Pokemon Rangers of Nue. Anyone who tries to break the rules and regulations of the Sanctuary are asked to leave, and if not, removed from the grounds by Rosenbach and his Pokemon. Many events are held at the WSoF, as to not only promote the message of friendship, but to bring business and favor to the people of Bayonada and the Sanctuary itself. [attr="id","aoi"]

THE SEASIDE CONTEST HALL
Friends, Contest, and the Sea - What more could you want?
ABOUT THE SEASIDE CONTEST HALL
The first Contest Hall to be built in Nue, the Seaside Contest Hall's elegance draws in all kinds of performers!
The Wailmer and Wailord Seaside Contest Hall and Battle Arena of Friendship, also known as the Seaside Contest Hall, is the largest building within the Wailord Sanctuary of Friendship. Petitioned by the owner of the Sanctuary, William Rosenbach, the Contest Hall is an elegant building, the outside themed around the very sea that surrounds the area, the inside a grandiose hall with elegance and grace being perhaps the most major factors, if not the overly-obvious expensiveness of the decor. The surrounding area, the Sanctuary, has no building that matches either in size or elegance. Not only used as a Contest Hall, within the Sanctuary the Hall is also center of events, with a large bulletin board near the door, with notices and posters denoting events, situations, and so on within the Sanctuary.
