Destructor's Off The Chain [Badlands Thread 2]

"Destructor, come back! Calm down!" Josh called as he ran across the Badlands. "Pika Pika!" Lightning called in distress as he tried to follow behind his Trainer as they chased the wascally wabbit. What had happened, you might ask? Well, Josh had brought Destructor to the Badlands on this trip to Kalos, not too long after the first trip of the month, in order to try and ride this hot streak to something good. Use the luck, use the momentum, to see if they could hit the jackpot. But something, some Pokemon that made their home native to the Kalos Badlands hadn't taken kindly to the Bunnelby intruding on it's turf, and Josh didn't know what had happened, but it had snipped, or stabbed, or SOMETHING right on the Bunnelby's bottom, and it caused the poor thing to go crazy. For the last 20 minutes, Josh and Lightning had been chasing the Bunnelby as it bounded through the Badlands, either hopping at high speeds, or digging into the ground, digging like a crazed monster on caffeine, and then re-appearing out of a hole in the ground and continuing it's hop. "We HAVE to do something" Josh said to Lightning. "Lightning, use Thunderbolt on Destructor to stun him!" he commanded.

"Pika..... CHUUUUUUUU!" Lightning let out as a large surge of electricity made it's way toward the Bunnelby, but Destructor would suddenly dig a hole and hop in, causing it to miss. Josh gritted his teeth. "Gah..." he muttered as he kept running. "How can we stop him?" he asked himself, and Lightning. They wouldn't get to find out as they would both suddenly fall into one of the holes that the Bunnelby had dug. "GAH!" he let out as he fell in, and it was DEEP too. They both fell quite a ways before landing hard on the ground below. "Ugh..." Josh groaned as he sat up. "That... Hurt...." he complained. "Pika Pika..." Lightning grumbled as he rubbed his own back in pain.

Josh looked around as he sat up. It seemed the Bunnelby had accidentally dug a series of tunnels... There was dirt and mud and sand everywhere. He wondered if he would accidentally dig up treasure for now. Well, only one way to find out. "Come on, Lightning" he motioned as he started walking through the tunnels. "Pika!" Lightning chirped as he tagged along, following his Trainer while retaining concern for his friend and teammate. The both of them wondered where Destructor had gone.

"Destructor!" Josh called out. Damn, someone hearing him call that would think he was calling for some kind of dangerous monster. But his Bunnelby wasn't a monster... Unless you got him upset. This was a good example. "Destructor!" he called out. "Where are you Destructor?"

He sighed. "Where could he have gone?" he asked himself and Lighting as he tilted his head, coming to a stop to look around. "Pika Pika..." Lightning whimpered, his ears lowering.

"Destructor, there you are!" Josh called as they found the Bunnelby in the tunnels. It seemed he had finally managed to calm down, and was holding something with his ears. "Hm, what's that you got there?" he asked. "Bunnelby!" Destructor chirped as he held the giant marble up for Josh to take, which he did. "Hey, you found another one of those stones!" he said, grinning as he looked it over. "Good job, Destructor!" he said, patting him on the head. "Bunnelby!" Destructor chirped excited, obviously proud of itself for the sheer fact it was able to help like that.

"Are you okay now?" Josh asked. While the stone was nice, he was more concerned about Destructor's safety. "Bunnelby! Bun!" he responded with a nod. It seemed he was all clear now. "We should be more wary of wild Pokemon" Josh warned with a sigh. "Come on you two, let's head back to the hotel. Uh... Destructor, could you dig us a way out of here?" he asked. "Bunnelby!" Destructor let out as he started digging.
