{Mission information}Catching: No (Kalos ghosts may spawn) Members: 1-2 Rewards: •15 (+5 additional dots per extra battled NPC) Description: Lost Hotel has functioned as meeting point for lovers of the paranormal, of all origins and ages, to share their passion and challenge each other to friendly matches for as long as most can remember. However, in the past month, more and more trainers have been sighted running out of the building in terror—or more than used to, at least. Some witnesses declare that a local gang has claimed the site as theirs, while others say powerful paranormal activity is in the works. Infiltrate the ghost haven and get rid of whatever's causing this uproar. Location: Lost Hotel (may create thread in either Laverre City or Dendemille Town) Notes: Neither witness is wrong: the mastermind behind this mystery is, indeed, a member of a gang of bikers that frequents Routes 15 and 16. She is borrowing the help of a Dusknoir and Chandelure, and is known to have at least two other human collaborators, each of them owner of another ghost. While it is only necessary to convince the mastermind out of her plans to complete this mission, each additional trainer battled will result in a larger total mission reward.[newclass=.missioninfo a]font-size:11px;line-height:13px;font-family:arial;[/newclass]

The tall silhouette of Lost Hotel stood with imposing flair before the diminute frame of a female trainer and her little bird, comfortably sitting on top of her head, much to the girl's annoyance. An abandoned and broken down building of this size was one of the few Kalosian points of interests the thirteen-year-old had no desire of visiting whatsoever, but still there they were, mere steps away from its entrance.
Why, you ask? Unnur had heard a gang of bikers had recently taken over the place, and managed to terrorise the many trainers that often found amusement in visiting and battling inside. Most importantly, she had heard she would be paid if she were to get rid of said gang. After some meditation—a whole twenty seconds of it—and successfully ignoring each and every one of the Fletchling's complaints, Unnur decided she would take on these crooks, and maybe even beat some other trainers out of their money while at it.
Without a doubt, it was a win-win situation, and Unnur wouldn't skip the offer just because Warner was scared of a few ghosts. In they went, treading lightly so as not to fall into some debris. The child hoped they could find a trainer right away, while the Fletchling could only pray to the good old Arceus that the complete opposite happened.

Arietta's steps were soft as she approached the Lost Hotel.. and apparently this girl from behind. She had been a bit late.. but Arietta never minded being fashionably late.
Still she had already been a little unsure of playing the hero. Money was a big motivator in this case.. less caring about the biker gangs. The thought of biker gangs made Arietta actually feel more unsafe then anything else.. but then she glanced over at her Mawile. Seeing her strong and cool Pokemon outside of her Poke Ball and standing next to her brought her a little peace at mind. Mawile, as if noticed that her trainer had glanced over smile.. and made a cute little call.
Eventually she realized she would have to actually approach this.. pretty looking girl who was staying at pace slightly ahead of her. Also.. who gave a girl younger then her the permission to be so pretty. Not Arietta for sure!
"Hey there, aren't you a little.. innocent looking to be a biker?" she said, smirking a little. Seriously, young girl with a bird on her head. Something about the image just seemed too sweet.
You don't know them like I do
I feel like I should feel bad for not trying to make her nicer right from the get go. Hehe.

Her small, 'innocent-looking' head of ice-coloured hair snapped back towards the source of the feminine voice. One movement, swift and abrupt, reminiscent of an eagle. The small robin adorning her hair rose into the air, flapping his wings twice, before returning to his comfortable crow's nest on top of the girl's head. Her neatly braided locks bumped against her navy blue suspenders as she turned around.
Unnur said nothing, at first. Her gaze traveled from the redhead's countenance down to her chest, hips, legs, and back to her face. The Pokémon accompanying her didn't go unnoticed, of course, though it certainly wasn't the focus of the thirteen-year-old's attention.
"Are you a trainer?" she asked. Any words the redhead may have uttered were completely ignored. Unnur's voice was soft, but sharp, giving her words the impression of an order, rather than the blatant—and rather coarse—question it was. "Have you got any money?"
It had been but ten minutes since Unnur had ventured inside the rumoured haunted hotel, and she had already found either an enemy from the outlaws or a potential victim. Not bad. She would even admit that this looked like a good start, in fact. Now, if only she had more money than her choice in clothing suggested...

"Um.. what's it to you?" Although there was obviously an innocent vibe to her, the question was unnerving. "What's it to you if I have money? I'm not buying you a present or something. I.. got enough. I buy clothes at the Boutiques in Lumiose even!" she was feeling flustered. She wanted to keep her cool.. but the question was extremely unnerving.
It was true that she.. had bought clothes from there. Although it was all of her clothing shopping that got her in trouble with money. She needed a lot more to further a career as a Coordinator. Possibly even to move away from Kalos..
Wait. She never thought of that..
"To be honest though, I'm here to... possibly make some more. This area is dangerous so.. like.. yo should totally buzz off." she said, standing with her hands on her hips. It was true.. although Arietta herself got plenty of comments about not looking her age. They honestly looked about the same age.
Mawile seemed to have noticed whatever had bothered her trainer, and made a hissing sound.
You don't know them like I do
There is NOTHING wrong with Arietta's clothing, take that back! *attacks Unnur for Arietta's pride*

Banter. Unnur found nothing of interest in the redhead's outburst, until she mentioned Lumiose. The City of Lights, residence of some of the most distinguished restaurants in the whole region. The thirteen-year-old could only imagine the heavenly flavour of their food, and her mind went off on a tangent. Oh, she was starting to get hungry now. She could almost savour the faint aftertaste of some saignant beef... Mmm.
Unnur's eyelashes fluttered shut for no more than milliseconds. Most of the redhead's words had come and gone through her ears as easily as unnoteworthily as small talk would have, but she did manage to make out that the girl was also here for money. Perhaps this hadn't been such a good start, then, and she was merely getting ahead of herself. "I'm not sharing," she declared, before turning around to resume her silent search and more than likely leaving the redhead to figure out just what she had meant.
Warner, meanwhile, simply fidgeted with his wings while carefully observing the scene from above Unnur's head, which admittedly wasn't that high a vantage point. He chirped in understanding at the Mawile's hiss.

Arietta could only stand.. her mouth agape a bit in wonder at what just happened. She had.. had she just ignored pretty much everything she said? She wasn't sharing?
"Excuse me, baby girl with the baby birdy. You're lucky if I share!" she shouted after her, pouting as she hustled to keep their distance small. She wasn't about to let this girl get away and handle this on herself. Not after she had come out here on her own and everything! She had already wasted too much time on this.
Plus, this was quickly becoming a pride thing. She knew she could handle this better then her, and wanted her to see that too. She would make this bratty girl her adoring fan yet.
Mawile was following, the chirp causing it to pay a little more attention to the Pokemon then Arietta and the other girl. Mawile looked exhausted a tad.. and hoped that the bird ontop of her head understood that feeling as well. Although.. Arietta was correct. They could do this way better then her! She hoped the bird knew that too.
You don't know them like I do
I love it when a natural reason to keep them together just happens all natural and stuff.

Unnur didn't turn this time, didn't even flinch. Ever since the older girl had voiced her intentions, whether they had been true or merely partially true, Unnur had lost all interest in her and her Pokémon. She moved forward, making sure to keep an eye out for any disturbances up ahead.
Ripped armchairs, a fallen chandelier, tilted portraits of celebrities long dead. Where would she be hiding if she were a member of that gang? They stopped just before a set of stairs so massively large and spectacularly broken that the young girl was sure it would have been an attraction all of its own back during its times of grandeur. The light was slightly brighter here, thanks to the lantern conveniently placed by the wall. For how long had it been left on? Probably not long.
As she gave her surroundings a quick scan, Warner hopped down from Unnur's head to one of her shoulders. To their right, yet another carpeted aisle greeted them. Unnur could see it extended as far as the lighting allowed her eyes to see. Beyond, complete darkness. To their left, a wall. Well, then. The darkness beckoned.

Arietta rage was bubbling with every step made following the strange girl. Although it wasn't a conscious thought, if there was one thing that true about Arietta it was that she hated.. just hated being ignored. There was something about the silence of it.. the unknown it spoke. What thoughts were in that silence. What emotions brought another person to just disregard her?
It was a fear that she hated. Words burst out of her in an attempt to attack that. To catch something in her that would force her to recognize her again. To bring her back into this girl's world so she could exist again. Without it.. her and Mawile could be seen as nothing but ghosts. The same ghosts that were rumored to haunt these halls.
"Baby. I'm talking to you. Baby. Where do you think you are going? You really think you and a stupid bird can handle what is here? Not sure who you are out to impress.. but you coming home to mummy and daddy with your tail between your legs won't do the trick." She was trying her hardest to keep up the pace. Mawile seemed for a moment nearly forgotten, although occasionally she would glance over to make sure that she was only just behind. There was an atmosphere in this place that was impossible to ignore. A creeping feeling that seem to make every creak and thump louder then before. She swore she could hear whispers.. or maybe it was just air whistling through the holes.
You don't know them like I do
A little more proud of this post then my usual rubbish.

With Warner no longer positioned on top of her head, Unnur felt a lot more comfortable than before. She waited for him to hold on tightly to his new resting spot, so as not to fall off. Warner could be so annoying, seriously. Well, at least the blue-haired child now knew that he was no longer pouting about this whole situation, that he wasn't as upset as he was when they had first entered. That was good. Unnur wouldn't have to worry about his constant nagging and his complaints anymore, meaning she could focus entirely on the task at hand.
That said, her search for trainers to battle was proving fruitless so far. Save for the unremarkable redhead she had found a mere ten minutes into the building, Unnur had found a grand total of zero trainers. Quite a distressing number, if she did say so herself. The thirteen-year-old was about to turn left once again when she heard a familiar sound—It was the redhead speaking. Hadn't she left off on her own long ago?
Was she speaking to her?
"I told you I am not sharing." Unnur's icy voice pierced through the dark. She wasn't at all pleased, but she didn't seem quite angry, either. Though perhaps that was just the particular softness characteristic of her voice?

For a moment there was relief. She had gotten her attention again, if for a moment. She realized though that this was fleeting thing. "Look, I got here basically the same time. It's mine too. So you really don't have a choice in the matter." a part of her honestly wanted to end it with sorry. She had pride though and it was keeping her from being too nice to this girl who barely even decided to notice her.
In fact just thinking about it was frustrating. She tried to not get lost in jealous and angry thoughts, and spoke again instead. "Look.. we're doing it together. More chance at both of us getting some money that way. Plus.. I have to prove that you can't ignore me that easy. Don't worry. You'll be my biggest fan in no time." she put her hands to her hips, trying to seem confident and a bit sassy. Partly because she felt so much lacking in those areas right now but wanted to put that front up. Still she quickly started to feel awkward and wanted to change the subject before she could respond. She said all that needed to be said though, there wasn't going to be any questioning of it.
"Do you think my Misdreavus might be able to lead us to the ghosts? I mean.. if it is Ghosts that are responsible."

She was persistent, this girl. She kept insisting on getting a share of Unnur's recompense for ridding the place of those ruffians she had yet to find. What's more, she was distracting her from her actual search. Fan...? What was she going on about now? How bothersome. "Basically is not the same as exactly. A span difference of mere seconds can determine whether you get something or not. Grow up. Move on." As wistful and sophistic as these words sounded, they were communicated in Unnur's cold, monotone voice, which freed them from any vestige of emotion that they could have otherwise shown.
To make things worse, Unnur was about to leave the redhead right then and there. She really did want to get going, find all those trainers currently hiding from her, but knew she would most likely just be followed. Again. So, instead, she stood where she was and listened to what the redhead in front of her had to say.
"This place is replete with ghosts," she let out at last, still unenthusiastic about the idea of sharing her loot with anybody else. "I'm looking for people." There was some truth in the redhead's words: a Misdreavus could try to talk the local ghosts into telling them where the gang she was looking for was hiding. Unnur, however, didn't trust them. There was always the chance of being tricked when dealing with ghosts.
Most importantly, there was the simple fact that Unnur did not want to team up with any strangers. She did not like strangers. She did not like teaming up. She had never needed to. And then in came this girl, selfishly demanding they work together. Naturally, Unnur would do anything to discourage her from tagging along. Couldn't she just leave her alone?

This would be a delicate operation. It would take all of her cunning and grace to keep her enemy from spotting her tactics. She pulled out her phone for a moment, softly typing away at the keys of her high-tech device with an internet connection. After a few minutes of struggling to get a connection... there it was on the screen. The crucial information she had been after. re·plete adjective \ri-ˈplēt\ : having much or plenty of something : filled with something : having had plenty to eat : pleasantly full
She smiled as she was very thankful for the phone at this moment. It would be another word she would add to her fancy lingo when she was talking to people who required her to act fancy. This girl wasn't deserving of that kind of treatment, but.. a comment she had made had made Arietta very nervous about appearing childish. This girl was younger then her! The only people who were allowed to find her childish where people older then her, and only if they were admiring how utterly adorable she was.
Yes, Arietta's confidence was getting better. She had her attention. Yes, it wasn't the kind of attention that she normally liked to have.. hatred and annoyance pouring in her direction as it was but she would take it over nothing.
She stood with her hands on her hips. "It's not something that I need to grow up on. The one who needs to grow up is you. 'I'm not gunna share.'" she said, mocking Unnur by saying the last part in the manner that one might mock a five year old. "The fact is I'm doing it. I don't need your permission. We're going to work together because I said so." she said, pulling out the Poke Ball that contained her Misdreavus and sending her out.
Of course Misdreavus was happy to be out! She couldn't be up to well.. mischief in that ball. Unfortunately she knew that Arietta probably had called her out for some reason. Probably to do with the spooky atmosphere they were in. There was a sense of pride that her trainer would think of her when she thought of a place where all sorts of naughty mischevious things seem to happen. Pulverizing any ghost that tried to make fresh with her targets sounded great too.
"We're looking for Ghosts that might know where some people who are staying here are. I'm sorry but you can't be noisy. I know that's part of what makes it fun, but this is serious." she said, her tone far more gentle now that it was focused on her friends.
It was true that Misdrevaus only got the urge to be MORE mischievous when she heard she shouldn't but for her trainer she would bare this horrible burden. Love made you do such awful things though.
You don't know them like I do
Reasonably sure this is just a contest who can act the most immature.

Unnur watched as the older female retrieved one small, square device from somewhere among her garments and proceeded to flicker with it until—the thirteen-year-old supposed—she got reception. However she expected to establish any sort of connexion with the outside world in an old, relegated zone with barely any signal boosters like this was beyond Unnur; but, if the smile on her face was anything to go by, she had somehow managed.
Now. Now was the time to act. While the annoying dunce of a redhead kept herself occupied with her phone and her Misdreavus, Unnur soundlessly stepped towards one peculiar door she had spotted just up the aisle. It was a smoothly polished and beautifully painted wooden door, oak, and it remained slightly ajar. Its peculiarity? Unlike all other items she had come across since she had entered Lost Hotel, this door was in almost perfect condition. It had either never been used, or been brought in recently. Unnur thought back to the seemingly recently-lit lantern near the broken down stairs.
"We seem to be on the right path," she whispered into her right shoulder, and urged Warner to sneak inside to take a look. Of course, Warner wanted none of that, but nevertheless obliged, lest the kid decide to go in herself.

There was a silence in the air. Arietta's breath was the only one she heard as she watched her Misdreavus zoom by close to the girl they were accompanying. She laughed in most noiseless manner she could and peeked in the door herself, wondering for a moment if might not be fun to just blow the door open forcing whatever confrontation might arise to happen already.
A quick glance over at her trainer made her second guess this plan though. Arietta was usually on the side of her mischief, never one to really tell Misdreavus how to behave or act in any capacity. The fact that she was doing it now must have meant something.
Arietta slowly followed the trail of her Pokemon, which lead her once again close to the girl. Her eyes quickly shifted to the girls, and then what she was looking at. Did this girl have some sort of fascination with doors? Arietta scanned it but didn't see anything all that noteworthy about it. There must be something else..
Was she.. "You scared?" she said. Her voice was a bit softer for once. To be honest, seeing that made her feel a little more comfortable to share a little something. "It's okay. To be honest, before I saw you show up I was thinking this might be too big of a task for one beautiful girl. Let's..." Her nice speech was quickly interrupted by a loud sound that made her jump. Yeah.. one of them was a bit scared at least.
You don't know them like I do
I'm going to get this going. I'm really sorry that my brain has been being a butt lately, and if its not my internet has been.
