elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

After finding out that the place he had gotten lost in was called 'The Badlands', Ace wanted to make a return trip. And this time, he knew where he was going. Which was a surprise for everyone at the office. The weird stone that he had found on his previous trip was sitting on his desk back in the office. He was using it as a paperweight sort of thing. It was just a pretty stone, it served its purpose. On one of his days off, he made a trip over to Kalos and returned.
Ziggy was perched on his shoulder as a Sandslash shyly walked beside him. Ace patted the Pokemon on the head as they ended, bending down and letting Ziggy off. "Okay, Rundel, I want you to go in the ground and see if you can find anything, okay?" Ace asked. The Sandslash avoided eye contact with Ace and slowly nodded, taking the chance quickly and burrowing into the ground. Rundel was a new addition to Ace's family. The Pokemon was quite shy, which is why Ace hoped that he could break through Rundel's shell during today's trip. Or at least try to.

It had been around 20 minutes since Rundel had went underground, and Ace was beginning to be slightly worried. He wasn't sure about how these 'badlands' worked or how much stuff was actually underneath their feet. Ace didn't know if there was something in every square foot of ground or every five square feet. Either way, the Sandslash had been down there for a while. The Zigzagoon beside him looked down into the hole that he had left, wondering what was going on down below.
What was happening down below was Rundel had gotten lost. The poor Sandslash had no idea where Ace was up above. His nerves had gotten to him and caused him to lose his focus while he was burrowing through the ground. He could, however, always just surface and try to find Ace. But the problem was he didn't know how far he had strayed from Ace. The poor thing.

After about half an hour of nervous digging, Rundel slowly made his way up and surfaced. His head looking around for Ace and Ziggy before spotting them literally right in front of him. Ace stared down at the Sandslash and bent down, kneeling down and bending over to look down the hole. With a whistle, he offered a hand to the Sandslash to help him out of the hole. However, as Rundel was reaching, he turned his head slightly to the side and was met with Ziggy's face right in front of his. "SANDSLASH!" Rundel got spooked and tossed the Thunderstone that he had found back into the hold behind him before ducking into the ground.
Ace, standing there frozen, his hand still reached out, looked at Ziggy. The Zigzagoon simply looked at the new hole left by the Sandslash and slowly back to Ace. With a sheepish noise, she shrugged and just carefully backed away from the hole, in case that Rundel surfaced again. Ace leaned his head into the hole and spotted the tail of the Sandslash. "Hey, uh, Rundel. Do you need any help with digging?" He asked. His response was only a small tail shake, which he assume meant no and the Sandslash disappeared deeper into the sand again.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RARE BONE ! A bone that is extremely valuable for Pokémon archeology. It can be sold for a high price to shops.

Ziggy and Ace stared into the hole, half expecting to Rundel to pop up in front of their faces or right behind them. Whatever he had found before was long gone and buried in the sand again. Ace looked at the Zigzagoon and pointed down into the deep hole. "Maybe you should go after him." He suggested. The Zigzagoon paused for a moment before whacking her tail into Ace's face. "Hey!" He brushed the ticklish feeling off of his nose and huffed, falling back and sitting down on the ground again. "Just a suggestion." Ace muttered under his breath.
It wasn't before long that Rundel popped back up from the ground. But the look of panic was still on his face as he dashed past Ace and Ziggy. The two looked at each other before moving to look down into the hole that Rundel had popped out of. Without a word, but a yell, the two bolted and moved away as far as possible. The thing laying at the bottom of the was a bone. A very, very, Pokemon looking bone that didn't look very old.
After catching their breath and making sure they were far, far away from that. Ace flopped down on his back and pointed at the ground beside him as Rundel was shivering beside him. "Okay, Ziggy, maybe you should take over for Rundel." Ace said, panting as he finally caught his breath. The Zigzagoon looked hesitant at first but nodding, burrowing her way into the ground as her tail followed.

Underneath the ground, Ziggy was burrowing her way through the dirt and rocks. However, about five feet or so into the ground, the Zigzagoon's eyes caught something buried in the dirt beside her. Stopping in her tracks, Ziggy pawed at the small rock and un-lodged it from the ground. With big eyes, Ziggy stared at the stone before picking it up in her mouth and burrowing her way back to the surface.
Back on the surface, Ace had returned Rundel. The Sandslash was still not coming out of his shell. But at least he wasn't violent Ace figured. Once he saw Ziggy pop out of the ground, he placed away his phone that he had been playing with and leaned over the hole. Pulling her out, he held her out at arms length and tilted his head. "So, what'd you get?" He asked. The Zigzagoon replied by opening her mouth. Ace placed her down on the ground gently before picking out the marble. Holding it up to the sun to get a better look, Ace found the small stone to be quite pretty and colorful. "Think this is a sign to start a marble collection?" Ace asked, looking down at the Zigzagoon. She nodded and wagged her tail, jumping forward and heading back to the Pokemon Center. Ace shook his head and pocketed the small stone in his vest, following Ziggy out and wondering where he would keep his marble collection at home.
