Another day, another try at excavating… Izumi was back again with the exact same crew as last time; and was wearing a different variation of the clothes she was wearing the previous time she had arrived here. The only addition here was a copious amount of sun block that she’d applied; because the previous time she’d ended up here, she’d come home with a burned nose as well as darker arms; and that was not good for her—she hated getting scorched too much. She still had on the standard steel-toed boots; a comfortable shirt; cargo shorts that came up to the knee (that also had several pockets containing her trusty note pad, pen, as well as said bottle of sun block) and the trusty pair of shades that were balanced on her cap. Noting that her Gabite and Marshtomp really loved digging here, she decided to set them loose and watched as the two appeared in a flash of red light—but this time her companion would be her Gardevoir, and out came Momo as well.
“Okay, everyone,” she began, bowing to the three that were now assembled; “…we’re back here again; and this time we’re looking for something… these shiny, shimmering, splendid things called ‘Mega Stones’. They look like shiny marbles; but that’s all I know about them. Spread out, and holler if you find anything,” she said in particular toward the Gabite, who was itching to dig; as well as its companion, the battle-scarred Marshtomp. The two ‘mons gave her a nod, before setting out to another particular spot; and to Momo she said, “Come with me,” before picking up the shovel and heading to a spot not too far away from the two ‘mons that were now digging in earnest. “Here goes…” she said, sticking the shovel into the ground. Soon, the sounds of displaced earth hitting the shovel were drowning out the noise in the excavation site; and it helped her think—she could see Momo from the corner of her eye, helping to levitate the displaced earth with her own psychic power.
Digging, digging, digging… wonder what we’d find…? She thought to herself as she then began stepping on the shovel; n order to help it sink into the more stubborn patch of ground that she’d come across.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RARE BONE ! A bone that is extremely valuable for Pokémon archeology. It can be sold for a high price to shops.

The sound of metal scraping against rough ground soon drowned out all thought processes; though Izumi could her Gardevoir’s powers moving around the dirt that she was displacing (it was making a distinct whooshing noise anyway) due to her digging straight down. She had already managed to dig a shallow pool-like hole in the ground; but so far there was nothing of interest catching he eye. Over at where the Gabite and the Marshtomp were digging up the ground as well, the two were apparently grumbling, as if in conversation with each other. Now, if Izumi could understand Pokemon language, the two would’ve been talking about something like this:
“You know our mistress is going nuts. Ever since she got that multi-colored thing, it’s like this obsessive look has overtaken her face.”
“Yeah, I know right?! But eh, one of those stones would look good on you, Drake. I don’t know about me though, but eh, let’s just get through this together.”
But of course, their mistress could not; so therefore the two were just grunting in ‘their own little way’; and continued to dig straight down. Back at where mistress and ‘head ‘mon’ were located, the two were digging in earnest now, she almost missed Momo’s cry of surprise, pointing to something sticking out of the grit. “Eh?” she muttered, looking over her shoulder and seeing that the Gardevoir was flailing, while pointing in a specific area. “What is it, Momo?” she asked, following her ‘mon’s line of vision… and seeing that there was a bone sticking out of the nearest patch of earth that she was about to disturb!
“Well… definitely not what we’re looking for. Let’s keep looking…” she muttered again, adjusting the cap on her head and stretching her back for a bit; before returning to the digging business…

The digging noises continued without too much complaint; wondering if it was even possible to not get anything from this expedition, Izumi shuddered; but shelved the thought as she continued to put the shovel into the earth and displace even more dirt; which was being levitated away and off to one side by her accompanying Gardevoir. Of course, though, she had to stop for a while and climb out of the hole to check on the other two, and that’s what she did; easing herself out of the hole and then traversing over to where the Gabite was now apparently diving into this man-sized hole that the Marshtomp was looking into. “So, enjoying the dust diving eh?” she asked Yuya, to which the Marshtomp clapped its fins together, before pointing down the hole. “Marshtomp, marshtomp!” she heard him say, pointing again towards the hole that Draken had apparently made due to all the digging. “Yeah, I was totally right on bringing Draken along to this place, he loves it here,” she said with a snicker, before reaching into the small belt bag that she had strapped across her waist and feeding the Marshtomp some treats.
She then looked down the hole and gave a sharp whistle; hoping that the Gabite heard it. both Izumi and Momo heard a scuffling noise; and felt the earth tremble; but they didn’t lose their cool, and in a few moments the Cave ‘mon shot out of the opening to come on a perfect two-pint landing right beside Yuya… and it was apparently trying to balance something in its digits… or what Izumi presumed were digits, because Gabite’s hands were just a single claw! “Ooh, shiny. What’s…” she trailed off, watching as Draken clumsily dropped it to the ground, and it rolled to a stop near her foot. She then dug around the belt bag and fed the Gabite some of its own treats before crouching to pick up the little thing that it had managed to find… and she snorted; for she knew what it was: a Dawn Stone. “Pffft, really? Well, Drake, Yu, nice try. Keep going though; that’s not what we need,” she said, straightening up and petting the two ‘mons on their respective heads before returning to the one-and-a-half foot deep hole and hoisting herself back down in it and picking up the shovel.
“Well, time to try again…” she said to Momo’s direction, looking up at the Gardevoir that was at the edge of the hole, waiting for the next batch of dirt to come flying its way.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RELIC CROWN ! A crown made in a civilization about 3,000 years ago. A maniac will buy it for a high price. ( Post a Mod Summons to exchange this for •30 )

Seeing that the dig wasn’t going too well (they’d just unearthed something that looked like some sort of ancient crown) she then huffed and then continued to push the shovel into the packed, hard earth. She knew that Momo was levitating each clump of dirt that came flying her way; and was setting it down elsewhere; and she continued to shove the digging implement into the soil, always keeping a harp lookout if in case she hit something that was not supposed to be hit or may accidentally disintegrate due to excessive force. Over at where the Gabite and Marshtomp were digging, they had somehow managed to dredge up enough earth so there was a slowly-growing mountain building up from their dig site; and they were grumbling. Again, if Izumi could understand Pokemon language, this is what they were conversing about:
“You know, I have a weird feeling that this dig is not going to end so good… because as of late I’ve been getting nothing but dirt, dirt, and even more dirt.”
“Drake, I share your sentiments exactly. I don’t know why, but so far we’ve got nothing but a pile of duds, and I can presume that the Mistress is not having the same luck as she did the last time we were here…”
The two ‘mons then continued to displace earth, dust, sand and grit; hoping that the deeper they dug into the ground; the better the chances of finding something worthwhile would appear. Back over at Izumis site, Momo had now levitated the rough equivalent of a small hill worth of dirt beside her; and it was growing steadily. The hole was getting quite deep too; since she had no idea just how far she’d have to go in order to be able to find something…

After that uneventful event of finding the Crown (which Momo had apparently set aside somewhere safe so that it would not be covered in dust and grime) she then continued digging down, shifting earth periodically. If it rained at this very moment, Izumi would have some sort of “mud pool” to swim in… or get lost in, because of the way she was disturbing the dirt at her current location. The two ‘mons that were busy making tunnels not too far away were just digging away quietly… and muttering amongst themselves. Of course, Izumi had no idea what they were talking about; and could only guess what the repeated chanting of their cries could mean. She then stuck the shovel into the ground once more and braced her foot atop it; before coming to a complete stop for a few moments.
“Voir?” she heard Momo ask her out of concern; because the ‘mon had gotten so used to the noise, she looked at her mistress out of concern. “Nah, just tired and really uncomfortable…” she said for a few moments before giving the Gardevoir an encouraging smile. She knew that the Embrace ‘mon was more sensitive to emotions; therefore she gave an even wider grin, and that seemed to convince the Gardevoir; she then went back to digging. Sometime later; the two ‘mons that had made a network tunnel not too far away had returned and were now skidding down the edge of the pit that she’d dug; the Gabite trying to balance something shiny in tis hands—her heart raced for a few moments, but upon closer inspection it was a Fire Stone—and that calmed her down. “Thanks for trying guys; at least you got to work out,” she said with an appreciative rub against draken’s chin; as the Gabite then dropped its ‘load’ into her other hand.
