elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

Since she’d heard about these ‘Mega Stone’ thingies from DJ, and was given the approximate location of where the supposed ‘dig site’ was going to be, she then huffed, before deciding to go there just to check things out. This time she decided to bring along an entirely different team, save for two familiar faces; only Gardevoir and Braviary were needed for this. She’d decided to bring along Fulmine, Draken, Yuya and Kairi for the ride; knowing that Draken loved digging holes more than anyone else out of all the ‘mons she owned so far. This time she was wearing something comfortable; her usual steel-toed boots along with comfy cargo pants and a loose, breathing shirt along with a cap that she’d tucked most of her hair into, along with a pair of shades… and yes she also had the freaking shovel along with her. “Well then, I hope nothing too ugly comes out of this,” she said to herself, finally getting to said dig site and submitting herself to the pat-down.
Once she’d been cleared to go through, she then plucked out a certain number of Pokeballs and then decided to let them out for the ride; and watched as the multiple flashes of red light coalesced into her Gabite, Marshtomp, as well as Elekid and Dratini—most of them were the next ‘line of defense’ she was trying to build up. “Well guys… we’re here. It’s time to look for… something interesting. A certain individual told me about these Mega Stones and what they look like, although… there’s something missing in the equation. But whatever, let’s go. Draken, you can Dig… lead the way. Yuya, go join your ‘partner’ and dig through as well. As for you, Ful, Kai, you’re coming with me,” she added, beckoning them in another direction. The Gabite and Marshtomp then proceeded to burrow themselves into the ground; while Izumi then proceeded to stick the shovel into the ground; before watching Fulmine trying to dig through the ground with her stubby arms. “Nice try though,” she said in the Elekid’s direction, sniggering.
Soon, shovel scraping against ground would be heard coming from Izumi’s direction…

After some time in silence, the Gabite-and-Marshtomp team had very nearly missed the first thing they’d found; as it looked nothing more like a slab of rock sticking out of the dirt. Once Draken’s claws had hit it though, it gave its companion a look, and then Yuya started calling their mistress’ attention, who was now busy trying to dig an even bigger hole than the two ‘mons were currently making. “Stomp, marstomp! Marshtomp!” she heard her battle-scarred companion call out; thus making her stick the shovel into the patch of ground that she was currently excavating; and then climbed out of the hole ever-so-carefully. Fulmine was at the very edges, watching her mistress dig up the ground, while Kairi was apparently wiggling through the disturbed earth, trying to look for whatever Izumi had missed. “Yeah, Yuya, you found something?” she said, dusting herself off as she strode over to where the two were now systematically digging up a hole; and Draken quickly pointed out the rock-like object sticking out of the dirt.
“Hmm…” she said to herself, squatting down and taking a look; before brushing off some of the dirt around it. “…nope, that’s not what we’re looking for. Nice try though, you two,” she said, quickly pulling out some Pokemon snacks and giving one each to the Gabite and the Marshtomp. “Keep digging, okay? Tell me if you find anything,” she said, patting the two on the head and giving them an encouraging look; before returning to her own ‘dig site’. “Well, nothing interesting. Come on you two, just watch me,” she said towards the Elekid and the Dratini, as she hoisted herself back again into the hole and continued digging, hoping that either one of the two ‘dig teams’ would turn up something better. She knew that she only had four chances to find something, and the rock-like object that the two had found earlier was the first try out of the four allowed per excavation trip.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found KEY STONE ! This stone is vital to any and all Mega Evolution. Without it, you're unable to Mega Evolve any Pokemon.

She knew that both her ‘mons were going through the dirt some distance away; ad over where she was, she was now tossing shovel after shovel over her shoulder—with some squeals coming from her Dratini’s direction, who was apparently floundering on the steadily growing pile of dirt, she then kept apologizing every time she heard Kairi cry out in protest. “Sorry Kai, but… yeah, you’re in the way,” she said with a sheepish look on her face; before shifting the next shovelful of dirt to a point near where Fulmine was now burrowing, trying to imitate her mistress who was now trying to dig a hole that was approximately two feet deep (as of current reckoning). The Gabite and the Marshtomp who were digging some distance away weren’t clamoring; so she knew that they hadn’t found anything of worth yet.
It was with the next shovelful of dirt, though, that Izumi heard something clink, then clank unceremoniously against the metal of the shovel—and she stopped and then set that particular shovelful of dirt aside… and began brushing through the patch of dirt with her own hands. That clinking noise is too particular… it has to be something! She thought as her hands were now brushing and shifting away dirt; the Elekid had stopped floundering and was now paying attention to what her mistress was doing. A few moments later, the two ‘mons in Izumi’s vicinity heard a sharp intake of breath; followed by what was probably the loudest screech they had ever heard her shout! “Holy crap! Is this…?!” she began, unable to believe it; it was something similar to the stone that DJ had shown her back in Lumiose; and it was definitely something of worth! The Gabite and the Marshtomp heard the unceremonious screeching noise and stopped their digging; before pulling themselves out of the hole they’d already dug up and scrambling over to where their mistress was, blabbering and blithering about something that was like…
“I found one, I found one!” she said, holding up the shimmering rock to the ‘mons that were now looking at their mistress with this really confused look; but they then saw the joy all over their face; and they raised their respective limbs (in her Dratini’s case, its tail) to celebrate. “But now the question is… how the fudgeballs does one use this thing?! Ah hell, I’m hanging on to it, better tell DJ what I’ve found;” she said, quickly tossing the shovel up and outward from the hole; and then pulling herself up as well; before digging through several pockets and finding her mobile phone. She then began composing a message with trembling fingers and then sent it to DJ; hoping that this would be something that they could meet over!
