elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

he Safari Zone had changed quite a bit since Jason had last been there. For the better? Who could tell, but it was definitely different. The whole building was given a much needed upgrade, looking more slick and modern than before and adorning the wall was huge map that showed the Safari Zone as a whole, and it was split into five different zones. Jason read the information next the large map, detailing how each zone represented an artificial habitat for the rare pokemon and which pokemon could be found there, making it much easier for the trainers. He didn't really care which zone he went to, so he closed his eyes, spun around three times, and then stuck his finger to a random point on the map; Zone 4.
Paying the fee, which had not changed since he had come, Jason entered the door the Safari Host had described to him so he would be able to enter the correct zone, and went off exploring. This particular zone wasn't too crazy, just some grasslands and the occasional watering hole. The typical habitat for any pokemon, really. He continued looking though, releasing his ally Glinda, so they could explore together.

he dynamic duo didn't find much, truth be told. Glinda flapped her wings behind Jason as they unsuccessfully inspected another watering hole. She looked as graceful as ever, her wings as fluffy and pure as usual, and her beak glistening in the sunlight. Indeed, she looked like a true dancer of the sky. All of which Jason just rolled his eyes and scoffed at. She had not been much help in finding any pokemon, and they had been searching for a few hours now. As they made their way through the Zone, Jason kept his eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary.
Glinda, however, was the one who actually noticed something. She cawed and flew over towards a flashing light, it appeared to be a fire! Jason set off sprinting, wanting to put the fire out before it spread, but what he found was an angry Heatmor. "Shit." he said, Glinda swooping down from above to hover next to Jason. The fire beast hadn't caught sight of them, yet, but Jason wasn't one for chances. He hightailed it out of there, not wanting to deal with the wrath of an angry elemental.

he terrified pair quickly ran out of there, not wanting to be singed by a large fire type pokemon. Jason was running so quickly he nearly slipped on something.. slimy? He looked at his designer shoes to find them coated in purple goop. "Groooosss!" Jason whined, looking around for the culprit of said goo. While he doesn't find the source of the slime, he finds a trail, and decides to follow it.
Laying in the mud near a watering hole was a purple gooey pokemon, not having a care in the world. It gurgled and glomped, spewing more goo as it lay there, with Jason watching in utter fascination. This was one of the new pokemon the Safari Zone had just released into its property! It was a.. Er.. Jason racked his brain for the information, not being able to remember the name. Jason looked to the earth, where the goo trail was, and it hit him! Goomy! That was the name of the pokemon, and they were weak Dragons, if he recalled correctly.. Smiling to himself, he called Glinda over and whispered a plan of action to her.
They waited until the slime pokemon appeared to be asleep, and then Glinda went to work. She blasted it with two blast of energy, resembling moonbeams. It made a gurgling noise, but then did nothing. Jason took that as a good sign and tossed a Safari ball at it.

ason watched in horror as the Luxury ball hit the gooey pokemon and disappeared into the floop that was its body with a sploosh. The Goomy looked around for the source of the impact, from the moonblast and the human made object that was now being digested by its stomach fluids. "Goo..?" It said, confused as to what was going on. Earlier he had been relaxing in the mud, hydrating his skin, with not a care in the world when suddenly he was blasted by some kind of horrendous lunar energy. Then, to add onto the already bad situation, some Human threw a ball at him! He finally found the source of his issue, and opened his mouth, releasing a blast of draconic energy.
"Moonblast!" Jason shouted to his pokemon. Opening her beak, Glinda let forth a blast of pink energy that collided with the dragon pulse, canceling the two out. "Go in closer and put the little booger to sleep." Jason called, as the two pokemon glared at one another. "Swa." She replied curtly, swooping in close so the small dragon pokemon so he would hear her lullaby. However, the purple plop had other ideas. As soon as Glinda was close enough, he began flailing around, hitting her with his gooey body. Shrieking, she pulled away, getting out of harm's way so she wouldn't faint. In massive amounts of pain, she sang her lullaby, circling the monstrosity so it would hear it from every direction. The beady eyes slowly closed, and the gooey pokemon stopped moving and began to snore.
Shocked by the sudden turn of events, Jason almost forgot to throw another pokeball at it. Almost. He threw the ball and quickly returned Glinda to her own pokeball, to protect her from any more harm that might befall her.

he safari ball flashed white for a few seconds and dinged, signaling the successful capture of a pokemon. Jason let out a sigh of relief and went over to pick up the green ball. He had no idea what he would have done if the capture had not been successful, considering he had already returned Glinda. Well, that was a lie. He probably would have ran away if he hadn't caught the Goomy. The wrath of a dragon pokemon, even one as weak as Goomy, is terrifying and deadly.
Making his way back to the entrance of the Safari Zone was not as hard as he thought it would be. The wild pokemon left him alone, perhaps sensing his lack of pokemon to defend himself with, and the clear cut path towards the entrance was lit with lamps. As he walked along the path, Jason thought to himself what would he do with a gooey dragon? Disgust his opponents into submission? He shrugged and pushed the doors open to the entrance, glad he came either way. It had been a successful day.
