elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

his would be his first time entering the Safari Zone, and Jason was elated! With the rumor of new pokemon being added to the already rare list of pokemon able to be captured, Jason decided now would be the best time to capture a new pokemon! Jason sauntered into the small building that was located outside of the zone marked off for rare pokemon and breathed in the smell of tropical island scented candles and smiled. William had recently been to the Safari Zone and talked of the nice people who ran it and of the rare pokemon found within, sparking Jason's interest.
"Oi, youngin'! Come over 'ere and show me ya' pass!" An elderly woman shouted at Jason from behind a counter and snapped her fingers. "Huh, these are the nice people Will was talking about?" Jason thought, his smile staying on his face the whole time. He pulled his ticket out and passed it to the woman, and said, "Here you go, 'mam." She eyed Jason, took his pass, and scanned it. Deeming it appropriate, she nodded at him and pressed a button, causing the gate that led to the Safari Zone to open and one of their signature Safari Balls rolled out in front of her, which she quickly handed to Jason. "Go on, ya' rascal."
Jason walked along the well trod path of the Safari Zone, noting the rustling bushes and glowing eyes that watched him. He smiled, and patted Chip, his Pichu, who was sitting on his shoulder. "Ready to meet some new team mates, Chip? Jason asked, poking at Chip's stomach, causing him to giggle. "Pipiiii!" The little yellow mouse pokemon squealed. The two of them couldn't wait to see what new friends would pop up!

s the adorable duo traveled through the Safari Zone, Jason began to worry about finding a rare pokemon. They had been walking for almost forty five minutes now, and not a single pokemon had approached them. From what he had heard, finding pokemon wasn't that hard. They practically jumped at you! Yet, here he was with a Pichu on his head, sight seeing, and no pokemon that he could see. "Uggggh, what a horrible way to start my first safari adventure!" Jason thought.
Chip, the Pichu, however, was having a great time! He got to smell the the scent of wild grass and herbs and watch the grass bob up and down like waves of the ocean from atop his trainer's head. What a wonderful time it is to be a Pichu. Chip did not even mind that they hadn't met any new friends, he was sure that they would come out to play with him eventually. Then trainer would be happy too! Seeing him and the new friend play. The thoughts of meeting a new friend and making his trainer happy had Chip giggling and letting loose sparks from his cheeks.
Jason and Chip continued walking along the path, Jason anxious about not seeing any pokemon, Chip delighted by the aspect of meeting a new pokemon. Neither of the two seemed to notice the little penguin like pokemon waddling behind them. That is, until, one of the stray sparks of electricity landed on the waddling wanderer and zapped it. "Piiiiiip!" It shrieked, the electric attacking being super effective. Jason spun on his heels to see what pokemon had made that noise. Hell, he was so quick about it, Chip was knocked off his head. The little mouse pokemon fell and landed on his little booty, squeaking when he made impact with the earth.
Face to face with its attacker, the Piplup let out a adorable fearsome war cry before releasing a torrent of bubbles at the electric type. Chip barely had time to react before the bubbles bursted in his face, scaring him and doing some minor damage. While Chip wiped the water out of his eyes, Jason's grin returned to his face and he said to his pokemon, "Chip, this is our guy! Let's use that new move you learned, ok?" Chip nodded at his trainer and then began to hop around, electricity forming around him. A few seconds passed, and he was covered in a yellow and white light, sparks going everywhere. Chip then crossed the short distance between him and the Pliplup and rammed into him, the electricity that had been covering him shocking the Piplup. Chip was a little dazed from the attack, but that was nothing compared to what the Piplup had experienced..
The little penguin had no idea what it had gotten itself into. All it wanted to do was meet the strangers that had came by it's nest, not be zapped by a yellow mouse! The regret it had was the last thing it remembered before it was knocked out by Chip.
Jason was practically jumping with joy! He had just fainted a wild Piplup.. A Piplup! A pokemon that some of the Professors of other regions gave out to new trainers as their first pokemon! Grinning like a fool, Jason tossed a safari ball at the penguin pokemon.

he safari ball that Jason had thrown at the penguin pokemon bounced off of its body and then swallowed it in a white light. It sat there for a while, twitching and rocking as Pokeballs did, signifying the Piplup's attempt at freedom. The signature ding of the Pokeball startled Chip a little bit and had Jason smiling like a fool. The catch had gone great and Chip hadn't even been damaged that much. He walked over to the safari ball and picked it up, admiring it. He called over to his Pichu, "Chip, we got ourselves a new team mate!" The little mouse pokemon was bouncing with joy! He had another playmate, but he would have to be careful about electrifying him...
With his new pokemon stowed away in its safari ball and Chip on his head once more, Jason returned to the entrance of the Safari Zone. It slid open and as Jason walked through it, shut. "I guess they don't want people trying to sneak back in.." He thought as he eyed the elderly woman who was one of the owners of it. Jason smiled at her and pulled his safari ball out, showing it to her. "Look, I caught a Piplup!" He exclaimed, proud of his capture. The old hag simply rolled her eyes and said with a bored face, "Grand. Now get yourself outta' here!" Not wanting to get on the woman's bad side, Jason hurried out. He'd be back, though. Soon.
