elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.
Skyes' Ranch is Zane's business and home. Located in Johto, his ranch is fairly big. His house stands on top of one of the hills in the city limits and has a large, fenced in backyard where his Pokemon and clients Pokemon play and chill. He's usually home and doing work, but may be away for a day or two for various purposes, such as hunting for Pokemon.

If you're requesting a breeding with a Rare Pokemon that is NOT yours please get permission from the owner. If you want a breeding with a Rare Pokemon listed/from one of the affiliates below get their permission first. Either have them PM me or post in this thread saying that you have permission to breed their rare Pokemon.

It was another morning in the Skyes' Ranch and Zane was at his desk as usual. Hermes, his Zigzagoon, growled at him and jumped up on the desk on which he was working on. He pointed his paw at the calendar on the wall and growled, pointing at today's date. Looking up from his work, he realized that he was supposed to attempt to breed some Pokemon today. After all, he made his living off of selling Eggs and breeding. Getting up from his chair, he released two of his Pokemon, Zeeno and Sashi, and walked into the large yard to begin his day's work.

Zane checked back on Zeeno and Sashi later in the day but came back to find nothing. A little disappointed, he stood on the edge of his stairs to think. Then, Hermes came up to him with a little mushroom in his mouth. Zane said nothing but grumbled a bit under his breath, considering that his Pokemon remembered something he didn't. To say the least, he was very disappointed in himself, but carried the mushroom into the back with the two bug types.

Quinn walked into the shop and realized that a breeder still had one more attempt available for this week, which she fully planned to take full advantage of as she had a few pokemon in mind that she really wanted to breed and knew that this would be the most ample time to ask for it, especially with the week about to end soon so she knew Zane would get back all of his attempts once the new week hit.
She put in a request in the shop to Zane, sending a long scribed email to the breeder.
Dear Mr. Skye,
Toma Quinn here. I would love to breed an Arcanine and Pawniard if possible and depending on the number of eggs made, I am willing to pay good money. I want at least two eggs, so if there is a success of three then you can have the other one. If not, I will pay the 20 pokedots for the two. Please and thank you. Here are the two pokemon for your convenience.

Ricki (OT) originally bought Pyro as a growlithe from a coordinator. On Halloween night, for some reason, Pyro evolved into Arcanine, and while it was odd, she wasn't going to question it.
Flashy and proud, Pyro seems to retain his showman skills he got from his prior owner.

If we're totally honest about this I'm pretty sure its that the Arcanine having flashbacks of Ricki's old gang life and all he can see is the Ronnie in the young Houndour. It's weird, no matter how much the Houndour tries to look playful and coquettish he can only see the horror that was Ricki's Pringle like virginity faze creeping back in causing him to shudder. Dear god make it stop.

Going all the way to Johto was not something that Vesta could afford to do, not while she was in Orre to train and fight. Luckily, there were more than a few ways to contact breeders and more than a few ways to get eggs. With physically going not an option, Vesta opted instead to call the farm. She waited for the ringing to stop, signaling the fact that the phone was picked up, and then spoke, "Yes, hello, sir. I have heard that you have priced a Skorupi egg for 15 dots. I would like to buy it and have it sent to Orre, please and thank you, sir."
Zane heard his phone ring but didn't bother to answer it, as he was carrying two eggs and carefully placing them in egg containers. Once he heard the message he looked at one of the eggs he was carrying and smirked. "Well, looks like you're going on an adventure to Orre."

Amber wasn't sure why she was looking in a Johto newspaper. But she was. Her eyes fell on an ad for a breeders ranch and noticed the email address. After reading the advantages to affiliating, it took her just a moment to get to a computer in a Pokemon Center.
"Dear Mr. Skyes, I'd love to affiliate with you. To start our new partnership off here's my Mightyena to breed if you would like. You're also free to use any other Pokemon I've caught so far as well. Best of luck with your business! Amber."
Zane checked his email and his Pokeball transporter. He noticed a new email, plus a Pokemon was transferred over. Reading the Email from a girl named Amber Kazuki, Zane was surprised and decently happy about his new affiliate. The Mightyena she sent over would be put to good use. He took the Pokeball and one of his own and took them out into the back, releasing the two Pokemon. The Mightyena and Houndour appeared before him and looked up. Zane gave them a smile small and bent down to pat Nyra's head. "Be a good Houndour." He said, before heading back into the house.

Ah, so here was the place he'd heard about. The boy ironically shared his name, and so happened to be a beginner breeder-like himself. He didn't know why he felt so nervous to come forward. He'd been lingering about the place for a while. He hugged his vulpix tightly to his chest. She had no problem being held in the boys warm grip. Zane, otherwise known as Wolfy, took a tentative step forward, practically hiding behind his pokemon.
"E-excuse me... I-I heard you'd be willing to trade a skarmory for a houndour egg?" His voice was barely above that of a whisper, his red eyes wide due to caution. He hoped he had the right place. The eggs had been advertised, which was a pretty clear indication that he did. The thought of being lost was utterly terrifying. The vulpix turned to bury her face into the boys chest sleepily.
