“Well, I’m sorry if I forgot. It’s just that… I was under a lot of stress when you told me that, so I might’ve forgotten that you’ve mentioned it. But thanks for reminding me about it,” she remarked with a quiet tone, before the mood shifted back to the same air—back to all the heckling and teasing. “Look who’s fussing over who; crazy husband,” she retaliated at his second quip about the ‘overbearing wife’ part. Maybe there was some truth to it? Either way, she then watched as he then approached a statue of what she made out to be a Manectric (she didn’t have one yet, but she knew what it looked like, either way, since the ‘mon in question was native to her home region of Hoenn either way) that was clutching a marble in its mouth while making all sorts of silly banter at the representation of the canine ‘mon. “J, stop talking to the statue that way, it sounds rather freaky; coming from me,” she remarked once he’d claimed his treasure and then gestured for her to take the lead. Now that he’d found something before her, she was pretty sure that whatever was left was going to be what she’d be taking out of the Ruins—and she sure hoped that it would be something of actual value! “OH, shut it you,” she retorted, elbowing the closest part of him that she could reach before looking at the stretch of corridor they hadn’t traversed yet. There were no doors on either side—only an opening at the very end of the stretch. “Well, I think we reached the deepest part of the place…” she muttered, looking around before scanning the floor—thankfully there weren’t any rigged tiles or anything, so skirting the distance was a simple matter. “Wait here,” she muttered before shooting down the stretch and disappearing into the room beyond. It didn’t take long before the sound of footsteps echoed once more, and the rather frazzled-looking Trainer made her way back, rolling a marble between her fingers. “Geez. The room itself was rigged. Stupid floor tiles. Had to hop around like Indy,” she muttered, showing him the Heracronite in the palm of her hand. “Well, I got my spoils, let’s get outta here,” she added, taking his hand and proceeding to drag him as best as she could back out the way they came.
