 Izumi could feel her heart hammering a mile a minute inside her as the six foot two blonde-headed individual approached, before finally dumping the rest of what he’d picked up inside the crate that she’d managed to drag up the steps of the back porch and had left standing to one side. Just as she was about to open her mouth and begin stammering the hell out of what she wanted to say…guess who appeared on the scene; none other than Josh’s mother! It appeared that Serena was also lugging another crate full of who knew what was contained inside; and her mouth was already open and ready to formulate the beginning of her statement when he strode past her and then proceeded to assist him. She’d heard him say that they’d talk later; but then again, when was she going to get the chance to talk to him, alone? Sighing, she didn’t realize that there was this tight feeling in her chest that was now receding; the moment had passed and she was strangely relieved. At the same time, though, she was still terrified; because—what if Serena hadn’t come in, and she was left tongue-tied and unable to say what was on her mind?! Kamisama no haa… that was too fucking close for comfort, she began musing to herself, placing a hand above her chest. Geez, I almost broke down and got tongue-tied in front of him. I know that he said that he’s already in the afterlife and just…watching, and urged me to move forward, but… Josh, why the hell do you leave me so speechless when it comes to…things like this? It’s like… arrrrgh I can’t explain it! She thought to herself as she then turned around and followed the two inside, closing and locking the door behind her.
