"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
Yumi was baffled as Josh jst seemed to take the attacks from the pokemon himself, wondering what on earth he must have been thinking withdrawing his pokemon. He wanted to help, but with Tranz already up in the Gastly horde above them, she didn't have many options without pulling out one of her trump cards. It was then she realized, she may have to.
"TRANZ!"
In a flash, it seemed the abra had been taken out by a destiny bond, and was now falling towards the ground, knocked unconcious and with no way to control his descent. Yumi rushed forward, pulling something from her pocket before dropping to her knees, hissing as she skidded along the rough ground, but still catching the abra in her arms, holding it close to her for a moment, before letting it down a little. "Heh, something tells me you'd kill me if I let you stop here..." Lifting the object in her hand, she slowly placed it in the maw of her psychic pokemon. The revive took effect, and with his eyes suddenly shooting, his whole body seemed to convulse in pain for a moment. Yumi had never used a revive before, but she knew it was not a gentle process.
With a sudden surge of energy pouring out of his eyes, he kicked out of Yumi's arms, landing and rushing out between Josh and the Incoming attacks. With a claw on the boy, he teleported him to the side, out of harms way, his own body beginning to glow with an odd energy. His form shifted and contorted, until finally, a kadabra took to the field, glaring to the Ghost types baring down on him. Teleporting pas their attacks, behind the two Gastly that had attacked Josh, unleashing a blast of psychic on Gastly 2.
Yumi sat their, awestruck, before jumping up, and punching excitedly into the air. "Get 'em Tranz!"

Surprisingly, Josh had known exactly what he was doing. He knew Lightning was injured, and he knew that he wasn't going to be able to dodge the Shadow Ball. Josh knew he had to make a choice, let Lightning get hurt and him too since he knew he couldn't dodge in time, or protect Lightning and only he took the hit. It might look stupid to others, he realized... But that mattered nothing to him. Protecting his Pokemon did. And he refused to use Lightning as a shield to protect himself like he could have, especially when Lightning was hurt as bad as he was.
And there was strategy involved as well.. If Lightning was recalled back to his ball, he knew Curse would end... And using Curse to begin with drained HP from the user. It had taken a serious sacrifice to do it, but Josh had effectively fucked these Gastly over in the process. His own pain was nothing but the pound of flesh to get the job done.
As Josh opened his eyes, he gritted his teeth. Protecting his Pokemon or not, the pain was unbearable. Was this what his Pokemon felt when they were hit? Or maybe Pokemon were just built for this, while humans weren't? This wasn't the first time Josh had gotten caught in the crossfire of course, but he hadn't been hit by a move like Shadow Ball before. He'd had the crap kicked out of him, even, but never with moves like this. Ow.
As looked up, he realized more attacks were going for him. These Pokemon weren't playing around, huh? His legs would begin to work. Josh was reckless, yes, but not stupid. He just might be able to...
Before he could even attempt, he felt Yumi's Abra suddenly grab him and teleport, dodging the shadow balls. Okay, that worked. He smirked over at the Abra. "Thanks, Tranz" he said, patting it on the head before it would suddenly start evolving. Oh. Shit.
Before long, Yumi would have a Kadabra on her hands. Josh chuckled a bit before shooting Yumi a wink in congratulations as he managed to get to his feet. He wasn't going to let himself be out of the fray any longer!
He would shake the cobwebs out of his head before he would grab a Pokeball. Suddenly, another one of his Pokemon let themselves out of their Pokeball. Dunamus, Josh's Marshtomp, was staring the ghosts down angrily. Which was odd, because last Josh recalled, his Marshtomp always showed little to no emotion as a Mudkip... Of course, he'd evolved recently. Was this a change that came from evolution?
Josh smirked a bit before bringing out his other Pokemon, Skelle, his Dusclops.
"Skelle, use Will O Wisp, then Shadow Punch!" He called to the Dusclops, pointing toward Gastly 2. The Dusclops would nod and fire off balls of fire at the Gastly, hoping to burn it, before sending out spectral fists, heading straight for it... Ghost type attacks were effective against other Ghost types, right?
"Dunamus, use Hydro Pump, twice!" he called, pointing to Gastly 1, the one that had used Curse if he remembered correctly. He'd started the job on this guy by recalling Lightning after Curse... Now it was time to finish it. "Stoooomp!" Dunamus let out as he loosed a jet of water toward the Gastly, and then fired another as soon as it was finished.
So even if the sacrifice of the Gastly didn’t end in vain initially, the three remaining floating specters were a bit miffed—not to mention annoyed—when the Abra that they’d worked so hard on taking down was suddenly revived—and had evolved into something more! Once that had happened, all hell officially broke loose. The two Gastly that were trying to keep themselves busy with the scruffy guy failed to realize that the Abra had evolved—but Gastly #4 was quick to notice, this time blowing a raspberry at the now-Kadabra who had seemingly teleported right into the middle of the fray; before quickly coming down from the direction where it had come and unloading an almost-invisible ripple of energy which was now shooting right at Gastly#2! Gastly#4’s intention of blowing a raspberry actually meant something; right as the Psychic had smacked #2 in the face, it had unloaded Spite on the Kadabra—because #4 knew that Psychic-types were absolutely dangerous for their health.
As #2 was assaulted from all sides—first by an invisible ripple of energy that had enveloped him within it, there was another sudden flurry of activity—there was another Ghost out on the field, but its actions were certainly considered as traitorous—and this time, #1 had decided to let the balls of fire slip and hit his companion—before copying what #4 had done too, blowing an even louder raspberry in the Dusclops’ direction as the spectral fists went flying! They had to shut the two down as much as possible—but they could only do so much before their big bad boss arrived. #1 didn’t realize that there was a huge blast of water headed his way—the seemingly roaring “waves” warned him a split-second before one hit him, sending him halfway across the area and barely dodging the second one, watching the stream go over his (literal) head.
#2, still battered from all the attacks that had literally smacked him, tried to levitate back onto the field, but the aftereffects of the attacks were too much; and as a last-ditch effort to try and bring at least one of the offenders down, quickly gathered two balls of foul energy—and sent them screaming at the Kadabra, who was still leering quite derisively at him.
Battle!
Two Gastly out on the field! Three Haunter still floating "invisibly" above the "arena".
Gastly #2 assaulted from all sides, hit by Psychic and Shadow Punch; sends out two Dark Pulse attacks at the Kadabra before it is knocked down and out of the battle. Gastly #4 then uses Spite on the Kadabra; while Gastly #1 gets blasted aside and barely survives the hit, before also using Spite on the Dusclops!

#4 locks down Kadabra's Psychic, #1 locks down Dusclops' Shadow Punch.

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
The little balls of gas wouldn't go down without a fight it seemed. No matter. With great power comes great responsibility, and with evolution, came a slew of new tricks to use. While teleporting was still one of his main tricks, and the one he would use to get out of the path. In a flash, much like before, he would vanish, inadvertently appearing even further from his trainer, somewhat cursing his lack of thought as the gap between them grew larger. He may be able to travel distances in an instant, but he still needed the time to react in order to perform his technique.
"Alright Tranz! You need to show us, and them, what you can do. Show us some real psychic power!"
Tranz wasn't long behind. He was slowly growing accustomed to his new form, and with it, the overabundance of power he held as a tranz was returning. His eyes began to burn with energy once more, his pupils red in a mass of spiralying psionic energy. The surge of power aided his recovery from the impromptu revival. Now fully revitalized, his eyes turned to the strongest gastly, number 4. He knew that he had 2 uses of psychic left after that spite, but the power of his hurled shadow ball would hopefully be enough.

Josh's idea of taking down one of the Gastly through causing Curse to backfire seemed to help, even if it did cause a lot of pain for him. They seemed to be on the ropes, so hopefully it wouldn't take long for them to finish off this wave!
He realized that the last move of Skelle had been locked down. He wouldn't be able to use it as much for this battle, shit! "No matter..." he muttered. "Dunamus, finish that one off with Hydro Pump!" Josh would call. "TOMMMMMP!" he let out as he would shoot that heavy torrent of water toward Gastly 1, seeing it was weak and hoping he could finish it off.
As for Gastly 4... Yumi seemed to be doing well, but Josh supposed he might as well lend a hand to ensure that the thing was finished off. "Skelle, use Shadow Sneak! Then Shadow Sneak once again!" he would call toward Skelle, who would disappear into the shadows before rising behind the Gastly, hoping to hit it twice with the attack. "Dunamus, use Hydro Pump again!" he called, this time calling toward Gastly 4. It was the fresher of the two, they had to wittle it down... Hopefully finish it. "TOOOOMMMP!" he let out as he would stop blasting the weakened Gastly and shooting another burst toward the more fresh one.
[Skelle took Spite. Used Shadow Sneak on 4 twice, Marshtomp used Hydro Pump once on each Gastly]
It was becoming too much for #1 to handle, and as the next torrent of water rocketed his way, he knew his time was up…for now. #1 allowed himself to be smacked in the face with the blast of water, he knew, that at least, he was able to lock down one of the fighters who were now turning their attention on #4, who had somehow managed to escape unharmed—until now. As #1 finally fell down face-first to the ground, #4 realized that he was all alone—at least, until another darker miasma suddenly made their presence felt on the field! The three Haunter who were floating invisibly above the arena had decided to finally enter the scene, and did so without further fanfare—as #4 suddenly got assaulted from all sides by a blob of shadow energy, two sneak attacks and another torrent of water, Haunter #1 emerged from the purple cloud first, quickly aiming at the Dusclops and firing off a Shadow Punch, knowing that it would land without fail!
After the first punch had been thrown, Haunter #1 then tossed a flash of sinister light aimed at the Marshtomp’s direction—a Confuse Ray status change! Haunter #2 then growled, before quickly charging at the Kadabra, attempting to get a big, fat, wet Lick attack on the Psychic type—this one had a sense of humor at least; and tried to make use of it. After the Lick attack, it also sent another sneaky punch flying, having used Shadow Punch as well. Haunter #3 decided to wait and see what would happen to him; because he was planning something—if one of the other ‘mons out on the field would attack him, that is.
Battle!
Three Haunter out on the field! All Gastlys have been KO'd.
Haunter #1 fires off Shadow Punch at Dusclops before backing off and using Confuse Ray on Marshtomp; Haunter #2 veers towards Kadabra and attempts to Lick the target before unloading a shadow Punch as well; Haunter #3? Wait and see...

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
"Well this is certainly not getting better anytime soon huh?"
Yumi tried to give a smle, albeit a tired one as she looked up to the newly appeared haunters. Just when they thought they were done, more pokemon just rushed in...were the sevii islands usually this chaotic? She was actually starting to be a little glad about how docile they'd been in the past. "Tranz you okay with this?" The psychic type nodded, believing he could handle this with relative ease. Even as his own haunter was swooping in with it's tongue out he was hardly phased. At the last possible moment, a step to the side would have the haunter float past him, grinning with a spark in the energy of his eye as it attempted to rear around and strike him with a shadow punch. A quick barrier was thrown up, and it's effect, while still present, was clearly weakened significantly.
Raising up the sppon, newly aquired thanks to his evolution somehow, he gazed at it, the haunter's fist still between his own eyes. Suddenly the spoon bent in half, and the haunter would feel a similar effect on whatever inner structure of ectoplasm was giving him shape, Tranz attempting to strike him with psychic from within.

Josh crossed his arms as he looked up, noticing that two Haunters had decided to make their appearances known. "It's as if it's endless" he thought to himself, shaking his head. He would look back at Yumi, and smirk faintly. "Keep your guard up, Yumi! We don't know what could come next!" he advised. But knowing Yumi, her and her Master Of Spooning would be fine. As for Skelle, Josh knew he had limited use of Shadow Punch now... With only 3 uses left, he had to make the best of them. He just hoped there was nothing left after this swarm of Haunter.
The Marshtomp would be hit hard by Confuse Ray, and Josh would grit his teeth as Dunamus would start wobbling around dizzily. This wasn't good... He couldn't risk it. Not under these circumstances. "Dunamus, return!" Josh would call, returning his Marshtomp to it's Pokeball. But before he could reach for his belt though...
One of his Pokeballs would suddenly open. Out came Lightning, fresh and back into the fray. As Curse didn't have time to damage Lightning before Josh had called him back, thanks to his sacrifice, Lightning was cured of Curse and ready to go. But one thing was different about the Pikachu... And that was the fact that he looked incredibly pissed off.
"PIKA!" Lightning would bark fiercely toward the Haunter. While the Gastley were gone, these Haunter were part of the group that had harmed his Trainer! Lightning wasn't ignorant to the sacrifice Josh had made to protect him, but just looking back and seeing the scratches and bruises that were visible on Josh's body was enough to set the Pikachu off. Josh would attempt to protest, but the Pikachu stared back at him with a fierce look and sparking cheeks... He was in no mood to piss off right now...
Josh would nod in return, understanding, before giving the orders. "Skelle, use Shadow Punch!" He called to the Dusclops, who had managed to dodge the Shadow Punch via careful maneuvering just prior. The Dusclops would nod, knowing it would leave her with two more of those moves left, before loosing two fists of shadows, going right for Haunter 1.
"Lightning, use Thunder, twice more!" Josh would call to the Pikachu, who would nod as Josh pointed directly at Haunter 2. "Pika.... CHUUUUUUUU!" Lightning would let out fiercely as the pissed off Pika would unleash two Thunder attacks, both on the 2nd Haunter.
[Switched Marshtomp out, Pikachu let himself out of his ball. Dusclops used Shadow Punch (2 remaining) on Haunter 1. Pikachu used Thunder X2 on Haunter 2]
At least Haunter #1 had whizzed past harmlessly; however it was all in vain; because even if he’d attempted to use Lick (and subsequently ended up licking nothing but thin air, god, why were these human-tamed compatriots of them so hard to knock out), but at least his Shadow Punch had connected, somehow. Now that the pesky, annoying little spoon-wielder (as Haunter #1 liked to call Kadabra in the back of his head) was leering at him again, he didn’t notice that there was a Psychic attack literally tearing his insides out—only when he felt that he was suddenly wobbling in mid-air, he then felt that he was about to collapse, yet refused to give up! In retaliation, #1 decided to weather the attacks head-on (he’d also taken the Shadow Punch just for this); before quickly unloading Payback on the Kadabra! It had intentionally stalled in order to be able to use this move in retaliation—if there was such a thing—and right after it had launched Payback, it then quickly followed up with a Sucker Punch attack!
While #1 was being pummeled by the spoon-wielder, #2 then turned his attention towards the scruffy guy, who was still in the middle of using the weird Water-type, which was then recalled—and then another small, yellow, mouse-like thing appeared. It was clearly pissed; and in order to cut across the attacks, it had zoomed forward, missing the first bolt of supercharged lightning that came crashing down, while the second…scored a direct hit. It wobbled for a few moments in mid-air; before sticking its tongue out and then launching big bang of sinister-looking light; it had decided to pool together two uses of Confuse Ray into one, aimed right at the Pika. Haunter #3 knew that the one with the Pikachu, at least, was going to be an annoying one to take down, so it then decided to do something suicidal, in an effort to pin it down—by first using Mean Look at the Pika, literally glowering at them in a withering manner—before cutting itself down to half health, by way of Curse, also aimed at the little yellow Lightning Mouse!
Battle!
Three Haunter out on the field! All Gastlys have been KO'd.
Haunter #1 takes the damage from Psychic and Shadow Punch; before retaliating on the Kadabra with Payback, then Sucker Punch! Haunter #2 dodges Thunder #1, takes Thunder #2, before unleashing a big flash-bang of a Confuse Ray status change at the Pika. Haunter #3 finally on the move, uses Mean Look to trap the Pika in place, before afflicting it with Curse!

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
Damn, that psychic shoulda finished him off! Yumi was more than a little worried for Tranz all of a sudden, standing in close and with barely any time to react. The haunter wasn't about to be done so long as it was still standing, or rather, floating. Already she could see Tranz turning, thinking the Haunter was out and done. Even if she gave an order he likely wouldn't react fast enough. She needed to think of something, and quick...
"FLYYYYYY!" "SAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
With a sudden "PHWOOSH" through the air, nearly sonic boom levels of speed, a blue blur carried by a green blur appeared on the battlefield. Like a bomb, the blue pokemon was dropped, rolling to a stop between the turned Kadabra and his opponent the Haunter, a deep glare in his eyes, and a stern expression on his face. Even as the Haunter used it's full power Payback, he rose up a fist to catch it, taking the damage through his arms, and slowly standing to his full height, holding the Haunter's fist so long as the ghost type would allow it, taking the sucker punch accross the Jaw with absolutely no worries, his head just turning back to glare down at tha Haunter.
"SA."
"...Oh yeah, you ghosts are officially screwed."
Ashamed with himself for leaving Yumi to get ganged up on like this, regardless if it was her order for him to look elsewhere or not, his fist stung with an icy cold, raised slowly behind him, before slamming down into the Haunter's face like a freight train, not even speaking, or emitting so much as a forceful grunt as he hopefully pounded the Ghost back into the afterlife. Following the momentum of his fist, he landed to stand side on, facing the sky above and glaring at the most powerful Haunter remaining, Haunter 3. The deep burning anger in his eyes stayed strong. Tranz, even with the energy that sparked from his eyes, held no such level of intensity in his gaze. Watching the Sawk, even the psychic type wondered if he could so much as move if he was under such a gaze.
"Ko-ken. Get 'em." "Sa!"
Thrusting both his fists skyrwards, a flurry of stones erupted from the earth, all firing like bullets towards the 3rd Haunter. Yui smiling confidently all of a sudden simply thanks to the arrival of her best friend.

A smirk crossed Josh's face as he recognized the newcomers. The main thing being... Yumi's partner, her Sawk, had returned. "This is going to get interesting" he said. That was when he noticed the attacks going for Lightning.... The Pikachu would dodge Mean Look, but left himself open for both Confuse Ray and Curse. That was when he noticed a shadow form under the Pikachu. Skelle, his Dusclops, had done something Josh had never seen her do before and had taken both hits. "Skelle!" Josh let out, taking a breath. That wasn't good... Skelle had taken on two status effects, and likely wouldn't last for very long. That was when Josh noticed that a third Haunter had entered the fray and had shot one of the attacks... This wasn't going to be easy. He had to do something unorthodox. Something crazy. He needed to bring it's health down good before it could do serious damage.
He took a breath as he watched the Dusclops's body language. "Skelle, can you still battle?" He asked. The Dusclops would stare blankly back at her Trainer before nodding. "Quick, take Lightning into the shadows with you, get close to that Haunter..." he began, pointing to Haunter 3. "And then cannonball out of the shadows and let the momentum take Lightning into the air" he added. The Dusclops, while finding the idea rather odd, would nod before scooping up the pissed off Pikachu, disappearing into the shadows before they could attack again. Josh noticed a little circle, a shadow, faintly visible on the ground as it moved just near Haunter 3. Soon enough, Skelle would launch itself out of the shadows and into the air, before tossing the Pikachu high into the sky. The Pikachu would extend it's arms out, trying to balance himself in the air.
"Alright, great job Skelle!" Josh said, noting the swaying and difficulty in balance the Dusclops was dealing with, along with the pain it seemed to be in. That was bad... He sighed. "Lightning, use Quick Attack, bring it down on the Haunter!" Josh called, pointing to Haunter 3. "PIKA!" Lightning let out as he would gain a boost of speed, divebombing toward the Haunter. But he wasn't done yet...
"Alright, now release Thunderbolt, cloak yourself in your own energy from the attack!" Josh commanded. "Pika.... CHUUUUU!" Lightning let out as he would unleash a Thunderbolt on himself, cloaking himself in some kind of golden aura of electricity that engulfed the Pikachu within it. The Quick Attack had been combined with Thunderbolt, and the Pikachu's speed was increasing... "Now, spin!" He called out and the Pikachu would start spinning rapidly in the air, the electricity seeming to spread around it even more, and it's speed was increasing even more due to it... Just what was he planning?
"Now bring it down! Full speed!" Josh called. "Pii..." Lightning began as he began picking up speed in his spinning downward descent that was getting faster and faster. "KA!" He let out fiercely as he tried to bring it down on the Haunter, and the area surrounding the impact would be engulfed in an explosion of electricity whether he hit or not.
The attack was experimental... Josh had thought it up on the spot. Here was hoping it'd work. Skelle wasn't going to last much longer at this rate, he had to think of a new plan if this one failed...
[Pikachu dodged Mean Look. Dusclops took Confuse Ray and Curse in Pikachu's place. Pikachu would use an electrified spinning Quick Attack, in mid-air, combined with a Thunderbolt, on Haunter 3. Purely experimental]
All three Haunters assembled were quite surprised—they thought they were inching so close to victory—only to have a monkey wrench chucked at them at the very last second! Where did that Flygon go off to—it had brought in the cavalry! Seeing that they were now regally toast, all three knew that they had no more reason to leave this hanging; it was either get shit done or get their rear ends handed to them. #1 was literally on his last legs, and made no move to dodge the incoming frozen “fists of fury” that were headed his way; letting the cold fury knock him down and out. #2 was still on the move—and although his original target had missed, at least one of the other “targets” had seemingly taken the fury of the Curse attack! He was down to half health, and he knew that he had to make it count—they had plans.
He was about to act on those plans—when a sudden hail of sharp, pointed stone seeming “impaled” his ectoplasmic body, making it ache and hurt. It didn’t stop there, though. There was another barrage of attacks, this time headed for #3, who was still trying to regain his bearings after that initial wrecking of stone—when a sudden bolt of lightning cut through the clearing—and there was a Pika-meteor bearing straight down on him! He could only look up as the powered-up Pika came crashing down on him in a burst of electric sparks—and #3 was down and out for the count as well! This left #2, who knew that he was in serious trouble; he then decided to fly up high—and made a hasty retreat, stage right! He knew it was time to call in the cavalry, because his boss and “that lackey” weren’t going to stand for what the hell was going on over here!
Battle!

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
"YEAH YOU BETTER RUN YA LITTLE TORCHIC!"
Watching the final haunter dart away, Yumi was cheering their victory, finding that Tranz nearly cut it a little close there for a second, but in the end, it all worked out for the better. The blue fighter was prepared to try and fire a stone edge to take down the haunter, but Yumi was quick to lower his arm, shake her head, and simply hug him. The red head trainer was just so glad he was back, she didn't even care what took him so long. Heck with all the random wild encounters that had been going on, she'd assumed the absolute worse for a second there.
"Next time, you check in with me every ten minutes, okay?" Yumi's tone was clearly worried for her pokemon, but still held a hint of anger just for the simple fact that she was still mad at him for not showing up sooner. The sawk rolled his eyes, hugging his trainer back and petting her head. "Sa Sa." He would simply reply, letting her know he'd do better next time.
Goku meanwhile was curiously examining the new addition to their team, a Kadabra with the same eyes as that weird abra they had on their team. Something you should know about Goku is...well...he wasn't bright, to say the least, and even now, with so many hints telling him that this kadabra was the friend he had fought along side, he was already calling out for his abra buddy, even going so far to think the kadabra had eaten him and stored him in his cubby tail.
Ending her hug, and giving a chuckle at Goku, petting him on the way, Yumi made her way over to Josh, resting her hands on her hips. "You okay there? That shadow ball earlier looked like it packed quite the punch."
Post by Josh Dragomir on Dec 12, 2014 1:32:06 GMT -5
They seemed to have won the battle for now. Josh's experimental fury and Yumi's power had sent the remaining foes packing. Once they had cleared out, Josh would take out Skelle's Pokeball. "Skelle, return. You did good" He said as he would return the Dusclops to her Pokeball. He smiled down at the Pokeball. "You deserve a rest, you did us proud today" He would compliment the Dusclops before returning the ball to his belt. He'd used 4 of the Pokemon in his current party for this battle. They all had done well. Josh would make sure to treat them all to Ice Cream later, as was his tradition, his treat for them for working as hard as they did.
They had cut it close, but they had emerged victorious for now. Josh just hoped that they wouldn't return... With reinforcements, not to mention. Josh would allow Yumi to spend quality time with her Pokemon as Lightning returned to Josh's shoulder. Once Yumi came over, he would smile in response to her question.
"Not to worry, Skelle is one of the toughest Pokemon I have" He promised with a grin. "... Wait, you mean me?" He asked. That's right, he'd taken a hit himself. He'd been so absorbed in the safety of his own Pokemon, that he had completely ignored how sore he felt from the blow. He sighed, and scratched his head. "I'll be fine. Nothing I can't patch up" he promised with a cheeky grin. "My Pokemon's safety means more to me then my own. This isn't the first time I've taken a bullet when my Pokemon are in serious danger, and it won't be the last" he added, smirking. "Of course... That's probably the first time I've been hit by moves full on like that. I've been pecked near to death by Dodrio, I've been knocked into thorns, I've gotten into a shoving match with an enraged Absol, but I've never taken a move head on like that" He admitted with a casual shrug, as if it didn't matter. And he dismissed it just as fast as if even that didn't matter. "Are you alright?" He would ask. "And what the hell did you do to piss off all those wild Pokemon?"
