"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
Yumi looked out over the ocean beneath her, the blue, whipping waves flying at breakneck speeds beneath her, letting out a calm and gentle sigh as she rested herself atop the Flygon taking her all the way to the Sevii islands. The newly evolved dragon type had been itching to get some work done as a mount, and boy was he enjoying himself now that her finally had the chance. Even with Yumi on his back, he flew as clse to the water as he could, his wings flapping so fast it was hard to even catch them with your eye, each like a blue and red blur at his side, whipping up the water behind him as he flew towards the Sevii islands, a nice short trip that he'd been told was to break him into the role.
Yumi had other plans though.
Recently she had managed to leave the rockets. She saved up her wages, made sure she had enough to feed her pokemon for a few months, and just walked the hell out of there. Of course, she managed to take a keep sake or two. One of which was a pile of notes listing all the indirect ways she could make up for what she did as a rocket. Old business contacts the rockets wouldn't care about much if they were to suddenly get thrown into jail, an old lab or two she could tip off to interpol about, so on and so forth. Now that she had a new job, she was sure to be focusing on these when she could, and tody was a very special job. An old rumour floating around in the classified files about a rather powerful trainer who'd caused some hell in the past. The details were lost in blacked out pages, but she was dangerous, and that gave Yumi enough reason to search her last known whereabouts. The Sevii islands.
A specific island was never mentioned, and while Yumi never knew the area that well, she knew for a fact that Knot island had plenty of mountainous ranges, and forests to hide in.
"Alright Goku, just between those trees." With a pat on his neck, the dragon listened up and gave a nod, slowly coming to a halt between two trees near the edge of the island, shaking some of the spray from the ocean off his scales as Yumi clambereoff his back, patting between his wings and giving a small smile as he let out a sort of purr. "Ya did good for your first flight with passangers. Won't be long before you're carrying me while Rodrigez joins with the camping equipment."
Making sure the dragon was ready beside her, Yumi also released two other pokemon to protect her during her trip, Her ever faithful Ko-ken, and her Abra, Tranz. Both pokemon weren't perfect for the task at hand, but they'd certainly be enough to scout out the forests. "Alright guys. Let's get to work."

They were at it again.
The "local gang" of Grimer and Muk that had just finished terrorizing a flower field (and consequently turning it into a wasteland due to their malodorous stench) were now on the hunt. At the helm of the group, there were two "scout" Grimers, slithering ahead as fast as their gooey bodies would allow; and they were on the lookout for some easy targets. There was also another group of three more Grimer; this time slithering along with three of the baddest, foulest, smelliest Muk that an individual would ever counter--their scent had caused a permanent cloud of miasma and decay to permeate around them; and anything they touched just... shriveled up and died. Today, they were out on a hunt... for anything that moved. If it didn't smell bad before, the moment one would encounter this ugly bunch, then things would get way out of hand...
"Muk. Muk, muk. Muk?" one of three bigger Muks inquired; and of course only they could understand their own language. The other two Muk were busy "chattering" (if one could call it that) amongst themselves, trying to devise a plan in order to fully take over this... "island paradise" that they'd taken an interest in. Stench aside, of course, was anyone brave enough to stand up to them? "Grimer. Grimer, grimer! Griiiimer!" one of the two "scouts" called, quickly slithering back as fast as his mass could manage; pointing in the direction of the clearing--they'd seen something that had drawn their attention; and boy, it wasn't pretty. After the Grimer that had spotted the "unusual sighting" (namely Yumi and her group) had reported to the "leader Muk", it then slithered away, awaiting further instruction.
"Muk. Muk, muuuuuk. Muk, MUK!" the "leader" declared; pointing ahead to the clearing, it was an order to take out whatever they'd seen up ahead!

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
As the small team explored the island, the nearby poison types were lucky the winds from the shore were drowning their chanting out. Yumi and her pokemon were completely oblivious to them, and the fact their sludgey forms didnt make a sound when they moved about probably helped them last longer without detection from the searching group. Yumi herself with Ko-ken and Tranz by her side was trying to find any and all hints of what could be a possible sign of a hideout of sorts. A dingy cave in the woods, some sorta tent set up, Anything that could point to the Elite trainer they were looking for.
"Anything guys?" The blue fighter and the small psychic only shook their heads, even the nearby Goku wasn't having much look, despite his major speed allowing him to search his surroundings at a breakneck speed. "Maybe we're not doing this right...Ko-ken, you wanna try going out on your own? You always move faster without me." The fighter hesitated, quirking a brow between Yumi and the Abra, wondering if she'd be fine in the hands of a much smaller pokemon protecting her. "Oh don't you worry so much. I'm gonna be fiiiine." She gave the blue chrome done a little rub on his bald noggin, essentially patting him on his way. "You just run back if you find anything you hear?"
With a reluctant sigh, the blue fighter gave a simple nod before darting off through the bushes, leaping up and following in the steps of one of his students, Veruka the infernape, by leaping through the trees with grace and agility that was rather unique for a Sawk. "Now that he's gone, Tranz you shou-" Yumi turned her head to speak to the one pokemon that remained by her side, but her eyes locked on what she caught in the corner of her eye. A little grimer seemed to sliming about in the bushes.
"Okay...maybe if we don't move, it won't attack..."
One of the two Grimers had gone out to check on the situation at hand—when he didn’t realize that he’d been spotted! Seeing that there were some strange figures loitering at the corner of his field of vision, he then turned around quite slowly, on the spot… before realizing that his fellow cohort’s “suspicions” were true—there was another presence on the island! Knowing that the leader Muk didn’t like to fuck around when it came to eradicating anything else that stood in their way, this lone Grimer gave a grunt, before slithering forward—and taking in the sight; he was facing another Pokémon (he didn’t know or care) but what was most troubling was the fact that it was with a human. Knowing the distrust his leader Muk had when it came to these “humans” who always invaded Pokémon territory; he then let out a low grumble… and then leapt into action!
The lone Grimer out on the field then began using its techniques—by first letting out an ear-splitting Screech; the better to alert its fellow cohorts that something was very near to where they were! As the loud noise of the Screech attack echoed around, the Grimer then seemingly “melted” into a purple puddle of noxious miasma—but in reality it was using Acid Armor in order to boost its Defensive status. Once he’d reformed himself out of the purple goo, he then took a deep breath—as if calling up on something that was bubbling deep inside him—and then raised its arms; before a rather volatile-looking surge of sludge flooded the area—it had used Sludge Wave in order to conjure up the foul mass of bubbling goo, which then headed towards the Abra (and the red-headed individual)!

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
With the Grimer moving closer towards them, Yumi was hardly surprised the moment it started to take the offensive with them, though at the same time, she had to give it some props for starting with screech. Noise based moves like that were nearly impossible to avoid for all but a rare few of her pokemon, and sadly, Tranz was not one of those special few.
The screech hit the small pokemon's ears and made him shuder as the high pitch sent uncomfortable sensations through his body, and even seemed to blurr his vision for a moment before shaking himself back to sanity, growling in the direction of the Grimer. Of course, the fact her little abra was getting some fighting spirit wasn't the most reassuring thing to Yumi either...Ya see, Tranz wasn't like a typical abra. He followed over the more negative side of Ko-ken, he traine relentlessly, and as such, could even combat with the fully evolved psychic types of Yumi's squad, but on the downside, he got kinda scary in Yumi's opinion...
The moment he got his senses back from the screech, his usually closed eyes burst open, a pink stream of psychic energy sparking around his deep red puppils as he glared at the Grimer as it raised it's defneses. "O-okay Tranz...just remember, we don't want to make too much of a commotion here...there may be more of them." Tranz gave a nod, but only to say he was listening. He hardly cared in all honestly. He knew for a fact he was skilled for an abra, and he wanted every last excuse to show that. The moment the sludge wave started heading his way, he darted forward, rushing on all fours with his tail flicking behind him, and leaping straight for the wave of slush, his whole body burning with a bright light for an instant before the sludge seemed to envelop him, but Yumi wasn't about to let that fool her.
Instead of taking the hit, the abra had teleported through the sludge wave, falling to a roll that only stopped itself at the feet of the grimer, raising his claws up similar to the DBZ character's their team's flygon was naimed after, and channeling his psychic energy right in the Grimer's face.
Next time, raise the right type of defense...
And with that little connection of minds, the abra unleashed a blast of psychic.
NOTES
Tranz 100%, DEF-2 Used teleport to push through the sludge wave Used psychic at point blank
Due to the sudden “Screech” alarm, the other seven Grimer and Muk that were not present on-screen were alerted that one of their own had run into some trouble; and right at where the scene of the battle was taking place, the Grimer blinked—because the Sludge Wave should have hit the crazy Abra—but it had just teleported right through the wave of purple goo and a few seconds later—it was right in front of him, leering quite unnaturally at him. That was before a sudden explosion of Psychic energy ripped through the space; smacking the Grimer upside the head! Even if the Screech had temporarily disoriented the Abra—the Grimer had forgotten that Acid Armor was meant for physical and not special attacks—and therefore took the Psychic full in the face! It had done a number on the purple pile of goo—and said Grimer was now sent backwards, reeling due to the super-effectiveness of the Psychic attack.
Thankfully, the Screeching alarm gave the other Grimer and Muk a warning—and this time, as if avenging its fallen comrade, two more Grimer slithered onto the battlefield; literally passing over their flattened minion; before the Grimer that had taken the lead decided to keep its distance—and then, quite literally, began shooting off random pieces of junk right at the levitating Abra; who, for some weird reason had a disquieting feeling surrounding it. The flying pieces of random junk were actually the representation of Gunk Shot that the “lead” Grimer had fired; whereas for the companion Grimer—it had decided to use Minimize; at least in order to ensure that it would last a bit longer. Letting his partner take the offensive; this Grimer watched as his companion fired off another wave of random pieces of garbage; having just used Gunk Shot again on the pesky Abra that was floating there, as if taunting them to “come and get me”!
The one that had decided to raise its defenses first before attacking then went on “supporting fire”; quickly slithering back (and over their passed-out comrade) before taking aim—and then releasing a rather large-looking, menacing ball of extremely unsanitary sludge aimed for the Abra. Now, there were three attacks closing in from different directions—what would happen next…?

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
Yumi let out a quiet sigh at the mere sight of her abra wiping the floor with the attacking Grimer. She was proud of Tranz, there was no doubt about that. Heck, par a select two, she was proud of all her pokemon, but it was still a bad trait from Ko-ken that seemed to be flurishing in this pokemon, though the purpose behind it may have been somewhat different, to say the least. Where as Ko-ken's flashy style seemed to come from his relentless battle style, Tranz himself seemed to be more of a "display". Sort of like that weird meme that had been in her email box ever since she discovered mega evolutions and revealed them at the world tournament. "This isn't even my final form", she recalled.
"Heh...good job tranz...now quick, come on back before-" Tranz turned his head to his trainer, not so rude as to ignore her a second time, Yumi only froze in her speech as she saw another purple load of grimer, followed by a third pal come out of the bushes, quick to hurl their own mucky substance at the floating abra. "Look out!" The abra quickly turned his head again, the energy within him crackling on the outside, as if it was burning the air, but even with his speed, the gunk shot was far too close. He had to react somehow, and quick, sending out a mental distress signal to the two other pokemon Yumi had brought today. A short distance away, a Flygon's eyes burned pink for a second, and suddenly, the dragon Goku found himself flying at extreme speeds with his quick attack, intercepting the first gunk shot with a his own body, while burning the second poison attack with a burst of his dragon breath, puffing some extra flames out of his nose with a defensive growl.
"Woah, really been working on that speed huh big boy?~" The Flygon gave a happy chirp like noise, suddenly becoming much more cheerful at the sound of his trainer, but still ready for the battle. Tranz was sure Ko-ken was already running over thanks to his mental signal, but the blue fighter was bound to take a while longer to get here. For now, it was just the two of them, and two grimer. Perfect.
"Alright guys, you can handle this! Goku! Earhquake! Tranz! Teleport!"
The two pokemon were quick to follow their commands, Tranz teleporting high into the air so as not to be affected by the earthquake through his psychic levitation, while Goku plopped down to the ground and began vibrating his whole body. Of course the sludge bomb was fired at a no longer existant abra, and so plopped safely beside Goku, while he himself unleashed a devestating earthquake attack on the two grimer.

Josh had been to Kanto, he had been to Hoenn, he had been to Kalos. He was even booking a trip to Orre eventually to challenge Sophia, the Gym Leader there. But this place? He'd never seen anywhere like it. The Sevii Islands, his travels had taken him here to look for Pokemon and adventure and all that jazz. Well, more like he needed a break to see the sights out of Hoenn after almost getting his ass killed by an Aerodactyl, but that's beside the point.
The blonde was wearing a new jacket, something his mom had suggested he try. It was comfortable and stylish, though some idiot mistook him for Falkner at one point. He'd considered trying one of the styles from Orre, but... Ehh, too gimmicky looking. Regardless, he closed his eyes and breathed in the island air. Ah, it was good to get out of Hoenn once in awhile and try new places. It was one of the perks of being a traveling Trainer, after all. I mean, it said on the tin. TRAVELING. TRAINER. Duhhh.
"Pika!" Lightning chirped on Josh's shoulder as a flock of unidentified birds flew over their heads. He opened his eyes to look up at them, and smirked a bit. It'd been quiet, he realized... Maybe a bit too quiet.
Jinxed.
Just as that thought came from his head, the ground began to shake. The earth began to tremor, objects were shaking, the trees looked like they might fall from their rooted spaces at any moment. "What in in the name of bread is going on?!" Josh called out. "Pika, Pika!" Lightning responded in panic. And what smelled so bad all of a sudden, he thought? Well, only one way to find out. Follow the smell. Hopefully it would lead them to the source.
Taking care not to lose his balance, Josh took off at a run until he found a sight in front of him most unusual. Yumi fighting a group of Grimer. "What the hell?" he said, doing a double take.
The first Grimer was taken aback—because his attack had hit, yes; however it hit the wrong Pokémon. The two Grimer could only watch in wonder as the Abra that they were aiming to take out had somehow called for back-up; and it did come—in the form of a weird, dragonfly-looking creature who then landed… and then began making the ground tremble violently. “Grimer. GRIMEEEER!” one of the two roared as the land began to tremble and shake; and they were tossed into each other, the purple goo sloshing and crashing against their individual bodies. Thankfully, they hadn’t gone down in one shot—or did they…? The first Grimer that had fired off the Gunk Shot looked like he was on the verge of collapse; while the second one was reeling in the same shape. Would they be able to last for long? The first Grimer then let out a simultaneous Screeching noise; it sounded like nails scraping across a blackboard; reminiscent of the musical saw.
Since they’d used up one of their allotted attacks, the vanguard Grimer then looked at its companion—and then seemingly formulated an idea. The two then grunted to each other for a few seconds before nodding—and then suddenly, as one, the two then exhaled a cloud of noxious, vile-looking purple gas (which was in all actuality the Poison Gas status change that they took great pride in) that quickly spread in a circular pattern around them. Two was better than one; but at least the mass-Screeching had alerted the remaining Grimer—and right then and there, the “survivors” of the onslaught began to converge in a slimy mass—but they were just outside of the current “battle field” as of this time. They would be arriving at the next opportune moment… at least the two who were out here were stalling for time by way of their respective joint attacks!
Battle!
(the other 5 are converging off-screen, will appear on the battlefield in the next few posts)
Barely standing after taking the Earthquake, the two Grimers then use these attacks as one unit: two instances of Screech and after that, two instances of Poison Gas as well, spreading out over a much wider area.

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
Goku was quite pleased with the damage his earthquake had done. He hadn't really had much time to practice his new draconic form. Being able to deal such damage out with ease was quite exciting, and he was eager to slam down and do it again, but just as he moved forward to slam his claws in this time, the Grimer let out a strong screech in his direction, forcing him to real back in agony as he was struck by the ear piercing sounds. Up above, Tranz the abra was still falling after his last teleportation, landing on Goku's back and covering his own ears from the screech. Yumi was quick to follow, wondering what the poison types were up to,
It was only when the purple smog began to roll in that it became clear. She knew the move, Poison gas, and if they didn't get moving, Goku and Tranz would be poisoned. "Tranz! Barrier! Seal yourself in!" Tranz tilted his head, wondeirng what she was asking of him, but when he too noted the purple gas seeping from the poisonous mounds, He was a smart pokemon, and so, by pushing his hands out to his sides, his front and back, and finally above him, he managed to seal both him and Goku in a box of barriers, similar to how a mr.mime would seal itself in an invisible box, and so, while they had a limited supply of oxygen, the poison gas circled around their box. Yumi was lucky enough to be far enough away for it not to take effect, but at the same time, she hoped Ko-ken got here quick. Tranz and Goku coudln't survive forever in a box.

The screech was ear piercing, and Josh's hands went to his ears, as did Lightning's to his own. Opening an eye, Josh noticed that smog had begun to fill the area, and Josh would back away from it, realizing Yumi's Pokemon were in trouble as well. "We have to help" Josh told Lightning. He pulled a Pokeball from his belt and hit the button for it to grow to natural six.
"Go, Gawain!" Josh called as he tossed it, bringing out his new Dratini. "Tini!" Gawain let out excitedly as Josh pointed to the smog. "Use Twister!" he called. "TIIIIIIIIIIIII-NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" Gawain let out as he loosed a set of mini tornados, which would head into the smog and begin blowing it away, giving Yumi and her Pokemon their saving grace from the smog. Once it was out of the way and the Grimer were exposed, Josh decided to strike while they somewhat still had the element of surprise.
"Gawain, stay in the rear and use Thunder Wave on those Grimer!" Josh called. "TIIIII!" Gawain let out as he loosed circles of electricity toward them, hoping to paralyze at least one of them. Meanwhile, Lightning had hopped off Josh's shoulder. "Lightning, use Brick Break on the right one, then go for Thunderbolt on the one on the left!" Josh called. "Pika!" Lightning responded as he would leap toward Grimer 2, his paw glowing as he came down on it. "CHU... PIKA!" he let out as he brought it down. Whether it hit or not, he would bounce off the Grimer and answer Josh's next command. "Thunderbolt!" he called. "Pika...." Lightning began as his cheeks sparked. "CHUUUUUUUUUUU!" he let out as he unleashed a large jolt of electricity toward Grimer 3.
[Both Pokemon were hit by Screech, Dratini used Twister on the Smog for Move 1, and Thunder Wave on a random Grimer as Move 2. Lightning used Brick Break on Grimer 2, and Thunderbolt on Grimer 3 for both his moves]
The two Grimer that were barely holding on didn’t know what had hit them—at least they had succeeded in reducing the defense of the weird-looking Dragon-type; however the sly little Abra was just too fast for them to get rid of—since it had conjured an apparent “box” made of Barriers; the Poison Gas attacks didn’t reach them! What drew their ire, though, was that someone else had burst onto the scene, bringing a Dratini and a Pikachu with them—and as the two Grimer collapsed into a pile of goo, that’s when things started getting real ugly. Two more Grimer, this time being led by one of the three Muks made their appearance on the battlefield.
As the Muk practically crawled over the three fallen Grimer without even caring that it was passing over its minions, the two remaining Grimer then got to work; the fourth Grimer quickly firing off two instances of Gunk Shot at the two new intruders that had arrived on the scene—and there was all manner of disgusting garbage hurtling through the air right at them!
Since the fifth Grimer had gone off with its companion, it then decided to fire off a hard-packed ball of mud (which was actually the Mud Bomb attack) right at the Pikachu; before quickly flailing its arms up high, and then summoning another large wave of purple goo right at the Dratini and the Pika! As the wave of purple goo sailed right towards the invader’s Pokémon, the Muk then stood by, waiting for the “boxed” ‘mons to just get out of there—unlike the dumber Grimer minions, he knew the value of patience and just waited for the two to burst free—because the Poison Gas was still swirling around the box; and he knew that they weren’t going to last forever in such a tightly-packed space.
Battle!
(the last 2 Muks are converging off-screen, will appear on the battlefield in the next few posts)
Grimer #1 OHKO! Grimer #2 KO'd by Brick Break Grimer #3 KO'd by Thunderbolt
Grimer #4 fires off 2 instances of Gunk Shot; one each headed at the Dratini & Pikachu; while Grimer #5 spreads out its attacks and aims a Mud Bomb at Pika; before summoning Sludge Wave, aimed at Josh & co. Muk #1 is just there, waiting patiently...

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
Yumi had taken to hiding her mouth in the hood of her jacket as the poison smog slowly grew thicker. She was worried she'd started breathing it in herself. Just as things may have gotten dangerous, and Tranz was about to start running out of oxygen in his tiny box, a twister seemed to rage through the small forest, making Yumi nearly jump in surprise. What kinda pokemon around here would know a move like that? Had a gyarados washed up on shore and decided to join the fray.
Thankfully, with the poison smog gone, Yumi could breathe safely, and the barriers could get pushed out by tranz, letting the air flow back in naturally, taking a deep breath, and a sigh of relief. Yumi turned her eyes to the source of a voice, hoping it was whoever helped her out with the twister a second ago. She was even more surprised that it was a familiar face. "Josh!? What are you doing here!?" It was then that the newly approaching grimer and Muk caught her attention. Josh may have been one hell of a surprise to bump into during her mission, but there were bigger troubles at hand right now... "Er...scratch that question, we'll catch up later! Tranz! Goku! Help out that Pikachu and Dratini! Quick!"
The dragon and psychic type were quick to follow orders. The small abra was still standing atop Goku, and he used his speed to get between the Grimer, and the pokemon of the new trainer, snarling and growling at the approaching piles of slime as blue flames burned in his mouth. He wanted to use dragonbreath to try and burn the gunk shots like before. However, Tranz knew of a more efficient way to deal with this. He wrapped his claws around the head of his dragon mount, and it's eyes shined turned pink as tranz took control. His fire simmered down, and his claws slammed down into the earth, rocks forming a wall between the pokemon, taking the gunk shots with ease.
Sadly, it didn't hold against the mud bomb, which shattered the rock shiled and left Goku to take the damage...or he would have if it would even effect him. Back in Control, Goku flew forward quickly, taking the sludge along with Tranz, Goku flying fast towards Grimer 4, slashing across it with an aerial ace, while Tranz lept off Goku, Using psychic on Grimer 5.

Josh wasn't focused on small talk right now, but nodded to Yumi's words. "Got it" he said as he noticed Yumi's Pokemon take the Gunk Shot hits. But there was still the matter of the Sludge Wave...
"Lightning, use Magnet Rise and let Gawain hang onto you, dodge that Sludge Wave!" Josh called. "Pika!" Lightning responded as he would let out a bit of energy, his body being cloaked by a yellow aura before floating into the air, with Gawain wrapping himself around the Pikachu. The Pikachu would fly up high, allowing them to steer clear of the Sludge Wave. Once again, Josh had pulled something out of the box to get his Pokemon out of a jam, it seemed.
"Gawain, detatch yourself and go on the offensive!" Josh suggested. "Use Twister, then Dragon Tail for a double!" he called. "Dra... TINI!" Gawain let out as he unleashed more twisters heading for both Grimers. As soon as he shot it though, Gawain's tail would glow purple and he would charge. "DRRRRAAAAA....TIIIINNNIIII!" he let out as he tried to slam the tail into Grimer 5.
With Lightning in the air, it gave Josh a good opening for him while they were focused on the tornadoes and the Dratini though...
"Lightning... USE THUNDER!" Josh suddenly called. "Pika!" Lightning responded in affirmative as his cheeks sparked, his strongest attack coming up...
"Pika..... CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" he let out in a savagely fierce tone that Yumi wouldn't recognize from the Pikachu prior, as the large volts of electricity would head straight for Grimer 4.
(Both Mons dodged the Sludge Wave via a creative use of Magnet Rise, Dratini used Twister on a random Grimer, along with Dragon Tail on 5. Lightning used Thunder on Grimer 4)
Who would’ve thought that the Grimers were going to be walking in on an unexpected “savior” who just had to screw things up for them?! They were at least expecting the red-head to screech, or scream out loud due to their icky appearance (which they took pride in, no Grimer should be afraid of their physical looks—even if they were just a pile of sludge anyways) but this one proved to be a very tough customer! Seeing that they were now being pelted from all directions by several incoming attacks—and just before the Thunder could hit and toast him into darkness, one of the Grimers had left quite a nasty “farewell” present; by way of using Disable! The other Grimer; seeing that they were going to be done for; weathered the hit of the Aerial Ace—only to see a glowing blob of psychic energy headed his way—and with the same casual limb-flicking, left the Abra with a similar “farewell present”; locking up the move (Psychic) that had taken out most of his kin.
Now that the two had dissolved into nothing but purple goo; it was time for Muk #1 to get moving—and he silently rolled his eyes; why did they have such incompetent minions under their service anyway? At least the last two had some decency to do something worthwhile. With another grumble, the second Muk slithered onto the scene—and now that there were two of them; probably they could stall for even more time; at least until their leader arrived here…? The first Muk then got the show on the road; mostly by aiming two blobs of Sludge, one after another—at the now-levitating Pikachu. The second one then decided to raise its Defenses first, by way of Harden; before taking careful aim—and then releasing a much bigger orb of sludge, before aiming and firing it at the Abra—or whatever it would hit! Unlike their lackeys, the Muks meant business, and they were going to have to stall for time—not that they were weak against a lot of things; but at least it would pave the way for their “backup”…
Battle!
(the last Muk is converging off-screen, will appear on the battlefield in the next few posts)
Grimer #1 OHKO! Grimer #2 KO'd by Brick Break Grimer #3 KO'd by Thunderbolt Grimer #4 KO'd by Thunder & Aerial Ace Grimer #5 KO'd by Psychic & Dragon Tail
Grimer #4 leaves a "farewell present" to the Pikachu by casually flicking its limbs at it (but has actually used Disable); Grimer #5 does the same thing with the Abra who used Psychic, also flicking a "limb" in its direction just after the Psychic hits.
Muk #1 and #2 arrive on the field!
First Muk aims 2 instances of Sludge at the Pikachu; while Muk #2 raises Defense by Harden; before aiming Sludge Bomb at Abra!
