Gold Rush I (Treasure Hunt/Complete)

Though his last search through the Badlands turned out nothing but just a Relic Band, what came afterward was what truly made him happy. As it turned out, word got around about the first Mega Stone he found. A man who had procured a Key Stone offered him the purple Mega Stone in exchange for this artifact. Thomas assumed the man already owned one, otherwise he wouldn't bother passing up something so valuable, something needed to even use the Mega Stones, from what he learned from Izumi.

So now that Thomas owned a Keystone, he was ready to take on the Tower of Mastery, in an attempt to gain the knowledge to even use the bloody thing. However, the trainer felt the need to dig around the area, in an attempt to possibly find more of the Mega Stones, in an attempt to amass some he could possibly use upon gaining this knowledge, or to at least sell around to others with the knowledge.

In any case, his first dig of the month began as usual: Algernon the Slowking moistened the ground before Thomas started to dig down into it.

As Thomas dug into the ground, he came across something. As he managed to unearth the mysterious object, it all looked familiar to him. It was yet another Relic. In fact, it was the same kind of Relic he passed up in his last run here, something that he wound up regretting, due to having to settle for something of lesser value.

However, unlike the last time here was here, it was actually early into his expedition. He still had three more chances to find something worthwhile, hopefully another Mega Stone. He didn't know what they went to exactly, but hopefully once he acquired the knowledge to actually use the Mega Stones, he'd find out if any of the Mega Stones were compatible with any of his Pokemon.

In any case, the trio left the Relic Band behind, not caring to take it.

As they migrated to another location, Thomas could only hope he didn't shoot himself in the foot again.

Thankfully for Thomas and his crew, this expedition would not end up like the last one. Just like his first two trips, he would end up striking proverbial gold as he found yet another Mega Stone in a clump of dirt. Immediately, the trainer dug out the clump of dirt the thing was embedded in, and had Algernon clean it off with his water, Thomas himself finishing the job by getting the moistened dirt off of it.

Thomas examined the stone for a moment, curious as to what it could be. But that didn't matter, as the now happy trainer had yet another Mega Stone to add to his collection, and to hopefully discover the Pokemon it went to.

In any case, the trainer placed the newly obtained Mega Stone in a lock box containing a single keystone, and one other Mega Stone.

"Good work! Now let's head back to the hotel to get some rest.", Thomas told Ripper and Algernon, both shrugging before following their trainer out of the Badlands.
