Vincent was quite happy. It wasn't often he was donated Pokemon for research/taking care of, but apparently his reputation had gotten good enough that a professor had decided his research was worth supporting. Visiting the lab during buisness hours, Vincent was able to meet with one of the staff and pick up the egg that he had been emailed about: A grimer. While it was a smelly pokemon, Vincent was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth, and it was a pokemon ideal for his research. Nearing the reception desk, he spoke calmly to the attendant.

"Hi, my name is Doctor Vincent Pendragon. I'm here to pick up the Grimer egg I was told about?"

Ferris slung her jacket over her shoulder as she looked at the number once more, then picked up her phone and dialed the number. She slid the receiver between her shoulder and ear as she went to digging through her desk for the rest of that paperwork she had to fill out for the new year before she was stuck on some answering machine. "Hello, Symponia Labs. Gwyneth Ferris from the Orre League here. I've been informed that you have a Shieldon for breeding in your labs, and would gladly supply whatever was needed to get an egg from your specimen."

The Professor's face was smooth as he listened to the voice message left in his answering machine. He had not answered on purpose - he had been in the middle of an extremely good play (so what if it was the 9th time he'd read The Tragedy of Julius Caesar?) and did not feel like answering. So as he heard the voice of a Gym Leader ask for a breeding, he thought to himself that perhaps it would have been simpler to answer. Oh well. Yet another Shieldon Breeding - truly, he was in luck for having all these Fossil Pokemon laying around. His research truly did benefit him.

"Morgana, do me the favor of adding this breeding to the list - Marcus Antonius is about to give his speech."

Number dialed, desk cleaned, and now time to mess with her cufflinks as the ringing went on until she could get the details on where to meet to get the egg and the price. Nothing she hadn't done before, just the standard affair. A Shieldon egg was worth the extra effort to go and get it, after all.

It had been quite some time ever since his last breeding – it was perhaps due to an overwhelming influx of paperwork on the League’s part. Still, it could be worse. He was no professional Breeder, and often queued the Breedings up only when either paid or for research purposes. Luckily, the League had paid for this one, and it would be a Fossil breeding, so it fit both bills quite nicely. Still, it was somewhat worrisome, as he read the e-mail from the League – how would this person’s Aerodactyl behave in his lab? His own Aerodactyl was quite docile, thank whatever force may be, but another’s might be quite difficult. He might have to ask one of his other Pokemon to help, maybe his Aerodactyl.

With a soft call, the Professor’s Alakazam teleported beside him, nodding solemnly. ”Osiris, go get Arian out of the trees, if you would – we need him for a Breeding. Also tell Jupiter to call Zephyr. I might need his aid as well.” Explained the Fossil Professor, filling out all the paperwork necessary for this one.

”As you wish, Professor. Hopefully, you won’t have your head nearly bit off this time.”

Arthur nearly chucked a book at the Psi Pokemon as it teleported away.
