elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.
Kuto yawned quietly to herself as she walked out of the local bar after another day of work. She wasn't a bartender, nor was this her afterwork ritual. In fact, she had been given special permission by the owner to look through some of his old paperwork. He'd been having issues with some of his bartenders supposedly stealing from the cash register, but the money always went missing after he did his late night income checks. With a quick look at his paperwork she'd been able to tell that his income checks actually matched up with the money going into his bank. The issue was where it was going beyond that.
*BRRP-BRRP*
Kuto looked around her at the small sableye walking behind her. "Would you mind getting that?" The small ghost type nodded, jumping, and, with a near practiced to perfection motion, he slipped the detectives phone from her pocket, falling back to the ground and adjusting his monocle. "*You know Ma'am, I think we both know what is going on with the owner of that bar. There was a very clear error in the paperwork.*" "Oh I know that Glint. But one extra day's worth of pay would do us quite well right now." The two continued walking home. They'd just gotten back into wifi range so Glint was quick to note just how long ago the email had been sent. He'd been trained since he hatched to understand human writing. Afterall, he was bred to be a personal butler to the young miss Pafe beside him, the people who bred him had no idea he would last long enough to learn how to communicate with her.
"* The email is from around mid day young master. It reads as such-*" The sableye quickly began to read out the email. To anyone passing them by it would seem like a sableye was saying it's species name one too many times as it looked into the glowing screen of the cell phone he held in his claws, but of course, from years of the two being together and some special training, Kuto had learned to understand many of the subtle tones and fluctuations in her pokemon's speech to translate it into the human language. "Would you mind typing up a reply Glint?" "*Of course young Master. What shall I say?*"
With his thumb-claw to the keypad of the phone, the following message was typed and sent.

I would like to offer my most heartfelt thanks for considering me as a possible breeder for interpol agents. While I do consider this a fantastic oppurtunity, and it is more than likely a great source of possible income for my business, I regret to inform you that breeding is not my primary profession, and taking on your offer would require it to be such. Breeding is in fact something I have undertaken to fund my primary occupation.
To ensure you feel informed on the situation, my primary job is that of a private detective. If you wish to know more, you may feel free to access my website at "www.pafedetecivegency.net". I'VE GOT THE GUTS TO SAY ANYTHING
With one of her most favorite breeders closing their door, Amber needed to find another. Going off memory didn't help, she ended up just going through the GES list again. Once she saw Kuto's name she remembered that was where she had gotten her most recent dragon eggs from. Typing up an email to her again, Amber sent it off into cyberspace.
"Hey, Miss Kuto Pafe!
I'd like to request another breeding, one between my female Flaaffy and someone else's male Zebstrika for some egg moves. I'd like to keep 2 eggs if possible, if there's 3 you can keep the last one. Thanks! - Amber"

Kuto sat at her computer, wondering if she'd be getting a reply from the interpol member who had attempted to hire her as a breeder for their organization. A part of her was hoping he'd look into her ability as a private detective, but as time passed, that seemed less and less likely. "I suppose we better look at the breeding requests folder..."
Glint, sitting on the table and typing away at his mini-laptop was quick to nod, folding it up and hopping off the table. "I'll prepare the mushes."

Once she was called, Amber wasted no time in taking a trip over to Pafe's Ranch to pick up the egg. Opening the doors, she saw no one around but saw the egg ready for pick up with her name on it. Taking the egg carefully in her hands, she looked around for the breeder but she was nowhere to be seen. She'd have to thank her later, and with that Amber walked out of the door.
"How many egg moves has that Tasukai woman been needing these days?" "*roughly ten young ma-*" "I didn't need a number Glint, I was just making a point."
With a quiet sigh Kuto lay down the latest forms she had to fill in for the ranch's upkeep, resting her head in her arms and letting out a gentle sigh. "lets just hope some real work comes in soon so we can get out of these breeds shall we?"

Kuto sat at her computer, wondering if she'd ever get a reply from that interpol agent who had decided to try and enlist her services. A part of her had hoped that hearing she was a private investigator would have him contact her again with interest in using her true skills, but as time passed, it seemed less and less likely. Instead her focus turned back to her usual work of breeding pokemon for the rather well paying red head.

There was silence between glint and Kuto for a moment. Both knew what she had just said was a very poor attempt at a pun, but at the same time, both knew it was so terrible that it was not worth acknowledging in the slightest.
"Just grab one of those weird mushrooms and toss it at them." "*Yes young master.*"
Kuto gazed down at the sleeping frog and the horsea floating in a nearby pond, her eyebrow twitching in frustration as she tried to fathom how these two weren't getting the job done even with the aid of one of her romantic mushes. With a quiet sigh and a roll of her eyes, she motioned for Glint to toss another one in, moving to her laptop and looking up her next bunch of breedings for the week.
