A Salamence definitely caught her attention. The memory is bittersweet; they are powerful creatures that could level a building by themselves, and precisely why so dangerous. A thoughtful look crossed her features. A part of her is wary of Nick, for fear that he might one day use the Salamence for bad purposes, but she firmly pushed that thought away. Give the man a chance, she berated herself, he is a good guy so far, if only slightly arrogant at the beginning.
"...When we get back to the Pokemon Center," she begun, "Could you show me your Pokemon? You have an amazing team." Powerful, and she wants to see how happy they are, she suppose. She doesn't know, she's just curious. What does a Salamence, not driven by war, looks like? Gentler, perhaps?
She finished her rice and drank her drink halfway, sighing for a breath. After this Stellar will probably head back to the Pokemon Center; after all, that's where she will be staying for the night. They do have free lodgings for trainers.
Nick smirked as he finished his food and drink. The trainer looked at the woman again and smirked. "You never seen a Scizor or Salamence before?" He questioned. His Pokemon were not exactly the most fond of just being called on for showcase purposes. Cero was a warrior - he loved to battle as much as his trainer did. Cero was going to want blood. Bakuryuu isn't that one track, but definitely flight would be on his mind. His Salamence loved being in the air more than anything. After you dream everyday and night for years about one thing and finally achieve it I guess you would want to do it as much as you can. Nick did believe he had an amazing group of Pokemon, although he only carried three right now he believed they could take on anyone and get the job done. He wondered what other Pokemon she had. Perhaps in the morning before they depart from Accumula Town they could get a real, full battle in. Hm just a thought.
"...Only from far away. I've never been to the two of them up close," was her reply. Stellar have seen them, of course, especially when Salamences were all rage as power weapons, but yeah. It would be nice to see some friendly ones up close.
"My Pokemon are going to want some fresh air," she added, "So they could mingle for a bit." She's definitely letting her out, her beautiful powerhouse, her main Pokemon. Besides, she already bought treats for all of them. She rotate the Pokemon she allowed to be out everyday, so everyone gets an equal share.
SHe finished her drink, and asked for the bill. When the bill came over, Stellar took a quick look, before taking out her wallet to pay for her half.
"If I show you - things are going to get wild." He said as he got up. He would take the bill and pay the whole thing himself. It was not fair for a woman to have to pay when out with a man. A rough guy, but Nick was a gentleman. He rose from the table and walked towards the door. There was a fire of curiosity inside of the trainer as he wondered what kind of Pokemon Stella trained. Ral was still in the infirmary - so he would not put him into battle. However his Salamence has not seen battle since he started this journey. Nick was excited and he felt, no - he knew - that deep down Stella was excited too. The reason for her strong aura and battle prowess was unknown and unforeseen by the trainer. He assumed Gym Leaders and such gave off such an aura, not a regular trainer. He stood by the door awaiting Stella, so they could leave and head back to the Pokemon Center.
ooc - this battle might get a little messy. tags - @stellar
Stellar smiled at the gentlemanly display. She will pay the next time they eat together, that she will insist, but for tonight, this is fine. "Thanks for paying," she says first, before adding, "It's alright, I've seen my share of wild things." Wild is a little understatement, when one has stared in the face of war for the last 10 years or so of her life.
They head back to the Pokemon Center together, and it wasn't long before they are standing outside the Pokemon Center, having book their rooms for the night. Now, though, Stellar wants to treat her Pokemon for fresh air, and she figured Nick might want to do the same.
"Come on out, now," she giggled, her pokeballs opening. Only six, because she rotates their outgoing time a lot. It's only fair after all, and she would have taken more Pokemon out if it wasn't for the trainer's rule of only carrying six Pokemon.
Her Ninetales was the first to be out, shaking her mane graceful, silver fur gleaming under the moonlight. Sae nudged at Stellar's hand, cuddling to the trainer. Another flash, and there's her Sawsbuck, letting out a stretch before letting out a grateful sound, grazing at the grass. Her Ampharos appeared and landed on top of her Ninetales, much to the Fire Type's horror and Stellar's giggles.
"Oh Lily, calm down," she patted the Ampharos, giving a pat to her Sawsbuck as well. The other two flashes almost went unnoticed, but there they are, her pair of Archeops, flying up to the sky with a squawk, grateful to be allowed some flying time. They are probably having some cuddling time as well, Stellar thought amusedly, those two are mates for life after all.
"...that's five of my current team," she smiled at Nick. In her hand, was the old pokeball from earlier, the one that look most well used and loved. "...before I released this one, why not show me yours?"

OOC :: Current Pokemon out (Ninetales, Sawsbuck, Ampharos, two Archeops) Last Pokemon in Stellar's hands.
What a team. Nick was impressed with her collection. She even had Archeops. Nick's father was a researcher and worked at the Pewter City museum. He recalled his father doing studies on Pokemon related to avian creatures - and he was researching a lead on a Pokemon known as Archeops. Nick never knew the results of the research, but seeing them here now proved they existed. Surely after all these years his father and researchers had discovered that and were probably examining the Pokemon now.
He withdrew two PokeBalls from his recently purchased pouch and released his Scizor and Salamence. "This is Cero and Bakuryuu." The Scizor crossed his arms and looked at the Pokemon she cared. As usual the warrior was not impressed, he shook his head in disapproval. Bakuryuu roared and began to kick up a strong gust as he soared flew around joining the Archeops. It was night time and the city was winding down, surely they didn't want to wake anyone up or cause too much of a commotion. "In the morning, before we depart how about we do battle." Nick said. Cero stood firm aside his trainer, battle was definitely his thing.
They are beautiful, Stellar thought. The Scizor is a form of elegance, and the Salamence who took off mere minutes after being let out was majestic on its own right. The wonder is obvious on her face; she liked them. From above, she could distantly hear her Archeops squawking in surprise. Normally, it would be had to hear them at the height they are flying, but this is her, who have stayed in the desert far too long and have mastered the hearing of the slightest sound, if she's going to use the two to her battle advantage.
"Wonderful Pokemon," she complimented, rustling into her bag to get the bag of treats she had bought. She took out one, a biscuit like thing, and offered it to Cero. "Here, it's nice to meet you, Cero."
"Yes, a battle would definitely be nice," she smiled, "Here, my last Pokemon. She will be battling you tomorrow, I believe." She look around for a bit, judging the space they have, the smile on her face brightening. The wide space is nice; sometimes, she couldn't allow this Pokemon out because there isn't enough space, but tonight is definitely not one of those nights.
"...well..." she moved aside a little, before tapping the pokeball. The flash that came out was huge, taller than Stellar by a lot. It easily is double her height, around 2.1 meters. Before the light finished forming, the claw was already cupping the woman up, and Stellar nuzzled against the Pokemon's head with a bright, airy laugh.
"Ria~," her tone was light and bubbly. This is her best and closest of all Pokemon, the one she willing fight side by side, covering all small nooks with her gun and knife during the war. In exchange, the monster of a Pokemon have claimed lives that threaten Stellar with her devastating power.
They are so close, Stellar couldn't imagine life without Aria.
The Aggron slowly placed her down to the ground, before lying down to be as close to Stellar as possible. Stellar grinned, nuzzling more to the Aggron's large, armored head, before turning back to Nick. "Nick, Cero, this is Aria. Ria, this is Nick and his Scizor, Cero. We met earlier today."
The Aggron grunted softly, eyes staring at the male trainer and the Scizor. Around them, Sae let out a coo of greeting, before resuming her chase with Lily, the Ampharos stopping just a bit to tap the Aggron on her side playfully. The Sawsbuck's reaction was a flick of her ears and possibly a grin, before resuming her grazing.
Stellar rustled through her bag again, this time, taking out a spoon. That was one of the many utensils she had bought just now, and she offered it to the metal giant. "...do you like it, Ria? Or is Gold's suggestion not good?" she asked. The Aggron blinked, before opening her mouth, a small grunt as though as to say, why not try it? Stellar dropped the metal spoon into the Aggron's mouth without fear at all, even when those jaws could easily chomp down and kill her.
The spoon was swallowed without much fuss, and Stellar blinked at the Aggron, who chewed once, and let out a soft sound. "...not too good, huh?" she look at the back of the plastic which held the rest of the metal spoons, "Guess it's not fully made of metal, despite what they say. Or it just isn't tasty. More trips to the mountains, then."

OOC :: Two on two is nice, but be careful now. Stellar have handled more, and the more is to her advantage. Or Nick is going to chew off more than he could bite. BTW, last Pokemon is out. After the morning battle, maybe they could go train a bit more together. Stellar's heading to the desert for a little of her own training, anyway. BTW, do you want a Trapinch? I have a male Trapinch in Stellar's care that hates Aria and Plume for defeating him, and is looking to get stronger and stronger. Maybe he could think that Nick seems like a good trainer to go with so he could one day defeat Ria and Plume, and we could have a small plot going right there. On the other hand, I want a female Trapinch, so if you want him, could you breed him?
Cero did not dare take the friendly treat. Definitely not. The stern Pokemon only gave a menacing glare as the bubbly woman tried to offer him some food of peace. Nick scratched the back of his head, as he tried to figure out what he could say to get out of this pickle. Cero was not the nicest Pokemon, he didn't know this woman nor her Pokemon. So he did not trust them at all. Nick had a dark past and through his darkness Cero was there. Nick understood his Scizor and would press his hands in a downward motion. "At ease." He would say to the steel clad bug as he proceeded to smiling his way out of things. "Impressive Pokemon, they all look happy and well receptive of you as a trainer." He added in praise. He had to compensate for his mean Scizor you know.
Meanwhile, Bakuryuu perched himself atop a building as he saw the final Pokemon released. So this is the weapon I was sensing. An Aggron. This was an aggressive Pokemon, although Stella did a nice job softening its appearance up by feeding her spoons. Nick watched how Stella's team responded to the Aggron - they all seemed to respect and gather around this Pokemon. A strong steel type like this, he might have to get Ral for this battle. Nonetheless they could not fight in this town, they would have to go to a forest clearing for battle. Surely Bakuryuu could find one for the morning. With only three Pokemon, Nick was at a variety disadvantage and Stella knew he was only packing a Fire type, Steel type, and Dragon.
"Oh I cannot wait." The trainer said before returning his Pokemon. "I will bid you farewell, I must get some rest. Don't worry too hard about this battle. I will soft, gentle, kind to you. Gotta start off slow, don't want to just rush it in you know." He said snickering. The cryptic, kinda arbitrary lines were the last words she would hear before he walked into the Pokemon Center to retire to his room. Tomorrow they would meet in the lobby and the conclusion to what they started in the forest.
Before returning to his room he would watch over Ral for a bit. The sleeping monkey looked better, a little poison wasn't going to stop his Infernape. Ral would have to get better, tomorrow he will have to shine.
ooc - ah maybe, we shall see. and yes to more travels nick and stella shall takeover unova. but since nick basically went to hoenn and kanto, to follow time better they should meet up two weeks later and then continue so i will have all my ground types. and i would love to raise your trapinch if you want. i already got a plot in mind for it if you like.
Stellar's glad that Nick didn't seem to intimidated. That's one reason she doesn't let out her Aggron to strangers at first, unless it's absolutely necessary or for self protection. While Aria never rages unless Stellar is in danger, that is not something everyone would know.
"Goodnight Nick," Stellar giggled softly. His arrogance is back, it seems, and it made her a little more pumped up than she wants to be. She can go all out, it means, and it's going to be fun, especially since Aria is in her strategy now. The Aggron let out a soft hiss at the young man's attitude, but Stellar didn't' seem so disgruntled, so the steel type just left it at that.
Stellar waited until Nick went off, before hopping over to Ria. The Aggron carried her up instinctively, and she scrambled to her top. "The stars are pretty!" she commented, looking up from the top of the Aggron's head. It's so high from here, and it's awesome. Ria's appearance have uplifted her mood dramatically, and it shows. The Aggron let out a soft coo, enjoying her trainer's happiness. Stellar's happy and that's all it matters.
The trainer slid down and sat on top of the Aggron's forehead, using the Steel type's horns to keep herself from falling off. "Say, guys~," she called out softly, just enough for them to hear her. With a loud chirps, her two Archeops landed on her side, on top of Ria.
"Guys, we are battling tomorrow. Legal battle," she added the last bit when her Pokemon look a little worried, "And won't it be fun?" Her Pokemon let out various sounds to say how they feel. Lily and Wystra, the Sawsbuck, looks somewhat happy, Sae looks a little unsure, Ria looked glad for the reason to release some energy. Sam and Plume were discussing in various chirps, what to do if they are battling tomorrow.
"We'll see how it goes," Stellar laughed at some of her Pokemon's over concerns, "Don't worry, no death." At least, she hopes.
With that, she stayed with them a little longer, before eventually returning her Pokemon, and returning to her room. Stellar felt like sleeping on a good bed for tonight, because she knew for the next few nights, she will be sleeping in the outdoors, and this is to compensate for then.
The morning couldn't have come any faster.
Stellar was up early, or as early as she could be, already up and rotating her Pokemon for morning air and breakfast. She's already on her last batch, her Sawsbuck, Ampharos, Ninetales and Aggron left. They are some of the last to eat cause they are some of the only Pokemon in her team who could wait for food, understanding hunger and able to withstand it better than the newer ones in her team.
At the side were some of her newer Pokemon, namely, a Trapinch, Jylarl, she called him for now, and her baby Seel, Bryiel, whom Nick have met. They just got checked by the nurse, and Stellar is going to put them into the PC to switch Pokemon in a few moment.
She was feeding Aria Pokemon food when she spotted Nick. "Good morning!" she called out, smiling. The Aggron added a soft grunt as greeting as well, continuing to eat.
I cannot believe I am taking this girl seriously. He thought as he observed the festivities. Her Pokemon were too happy to be out and eating. Nick was ready to do battle to do war. He assumed a different mindset. His trainer, taught him how to differentiate between a war and training. This battle, was just training, it wasn't life or death. When you train, you clear your mind to focus on the training. It was serious. When you look at karate master, judo masters, jujitsu masters and watch them trainer you understand. Fighting is war arts, the art of war. To harness this art for good and to make yourself better and stronger, to learn about life, that was the fruit of it all; personally and with Pokemon. But enough of this war talk and smack back to the aloof trainer.
He noticed there was a Trapinch among the group. She could have a future dragon on her hands. The little guy was not involved or as active as her other Pokemon. Nick assumed he was new, he would come around eventually. The man threw a single orb into the air and a red flash would cover the clear blue skies. The flowing sky blue was only interrupting by the radiant yellow of the sun. The darkened skin of the trainer would be covered by the shade of his aerial dragon who was now descending behind his trainer. As usual, Bakuryuu would let out a roar shattering the ear drums of those around. "Head north - there is a forest clearing we can use for battle. See you there."
With suave and daunting coolness the ivory haired trainer would send Stella a wink as he hopped on his Salamence, and whipped into the sky with impressive speed. Upon arrival, Nickol would step down onto the soft earth as he awaited his opponent's arrival. In his pouch were three PokeBalls. He closed his eyes and calmed his nerves. Excitement. Anticipation. They could bring ruin, it was the coolness of the wind that could brush down and move boulders - not unpolished eagerness.
Stellar giggled lightly, waving goodbye as Nick took off on his impressive Salamence. Yesterday, however, came into her mind, and quickly, Stellar pieced together what Pokemon she need. Aria nudged her, and Stellar smiled. "Of course you are coming," she cooed to the Steel Type, before tapping a pokeball against the giant Pokemon and returning her. Yes, the Aggron is a must, of course.
Slowly, she begun to collect her Pokemon back as they finished eating. Bryiel is staying back, and her two Archeops are back in her team. Sae is in, too, so is Wystra and for a moment, she felt a strange nostalgia. This were her steady, all out team; she's really looking forward to her battle, huh? She was just about to pick up her Ampharos when there's an odd nudge on her leg.
Jylarl.
"...you want to come?" she blinked. Jy rarely demands something, but now he looks like he's ordering her. Aria's pokeball rattled in disgruntlement, but Stellar just tapped it twice to calm the Steel Type. She bend down to hold out Jy's pokeball. "Sure, why not?" The Trapinch merely ignored her, and went into the ball.
Stellar sighed.
The woman reached the clearing, riding on top of her Sawsbuck. It only took mere minutes, since her two Archeops are up in the air and directing Wystra which direction to go. The Sawsbuck was all too good with following directions and keeping on foot; a slip could have costed them too much in the past, so Wystra is extremely practiced in keeping up with a good run, even with a minor trip here and there. The grass type can even run in deserts, practiced by Stellar's frequent visits.
"This is certainly exciting," was her only greeting, as she stepped down from the grass type, her usual ride. Her two Archeops landed on nearby trees, one at one side of the clearing, another at the opposite. Before she could continue anymore, another flash, and her Trapinch walked out. She blinked, before bending downward. "Jy, you want to battle?" The Trapinch merely huffed, walking away and staying at one corner. Stellar sighed softly. "I'm sorry," she said to Nick, "I don't know what he wants."
"I was thinking, just so we won't destroy the environment too much, like yesterday..." Stellar said, and her two Archeops let out a squawk each. Both took a deep breath, before their eyes glowed, and a translucent green dome begun to raise around them, the Trapinch outside, though, much to the Trapinch's chagrin. This is Protect at it's finest, her two Archeops knowing the move and using them in perfect sync. It'll lock them in this field, this huge, wide circle, but it will minimize the damage, at the very least.
Stellar grinned at her two Archeops, giving them a thumbs up. They are used to exerting a long Protect, but never together like this, and it was an idea that Stellar came up randomly on her way here.
"What do you think Nick?" she called out, as she returned her Sawsbuck, "Well, what kind of battle are we going for?"
"Singles. Three Pokemon a piece. Switching out is allowed." The trainer called from the opposite side. The Archeops mystical orb would surely prevent interruptions and definitely made this no holds barred.
Bakuryuu is up first
Small embers escaped the nostrils of the dragon Pokemon as he took some steps forward. Nick acknowledged Bakuryuu as his first Pokemon to go up against Stella. His dragon was his powerhouse and he what better way to start this battle? Stella had the advantage of choosing who will battle his Salamence first, that would be very important. Stella had a full team - plus some - Nick wasn't sure if she decided to withdraw any Pokemon especially for his team. Either way a battle of epic proportion was about to take place in this town's clearing. A flock of Pidove could be heard in the distance, flapping away at morning. The pre-battle winds soaring, moving the grass blades towards Stella who we all waited to see her choice of Pokemon. Nick's face was blank, there was no reading him. Not just yet you see. Not just yet.
Three Pokemon? Stellar could feel the adrenaline, already. She might have a full team, but what Nick might not have taken into account is that three of her Pokemon is already out of battle, two holding up the Protect as it is and one who look grumpy, refusing to listen to her at all. That put her three Pokemon already shown and expected, just like Nick himself.
She hadn't felt this vulnerable for a long time, showing all her cards outright. In a way, it's a different kind of danger, and her face went blank, the smile wiped away. Her eyes narrowed, and there's a dangerous gleam. Battles and fights and wars share too similar qualities, and there time she mixed them in her head. Innerly, Stellar quietly berated herself; this is a battle, a legal battle at that.
They'll begin going all out then.
"Ria."
Her choice was her Aggron, who let out a roar, stepping into the field. Aria surveyed the current situation, before flexing her muscles. Stellar nodded quietly.
"You can have the first move."
Notes
Double powerhouse in the first round. Stellar will probably get involved in the fight....maybe.
How nice could she be? Nick had given her the advantage of seeing his team, and even his first choice - and the woman decided to let him have the first blow. My he was already trying to handicap himself as much as he could against the woman, who knew she would not take advantage. Women always want it the hard way. He would stroke his hand through his hairs and snickered. "Bakuryuu." The call of his name would be hypnotic for the dragon. His once lax expression would ball up into a grimace. The dragon growled as he readied himself to face the Aggron.
Used Dragonbreathe
"Dragonbreathe!" Nickol ordered. Her Aggron was quite sturdy, honestly it's typing was great. It resisted so many things, Nick knew his Infernape might be his best bet. That Aggron would have to get weaker first. Bakuryuu charged his wings flapping and slicing through the air thanks to their superb shaping. Dragons were strong and fast creatures, definitely elite. He knew the defense on this bad boy was high so he would have to break down the wall - slow and steady. The dragon rose to the sky and would let out a green stream of flames. The concentrated flame was not a loose as fire and had a more explosive capability upon impact. His Salamence was airborne - approximately thirty meters or so separating the dragon and steel beast. This way he could keep one advantage because his opponent was definitely grounded.
Almost immediately Stellar could guess what's Nick's strategy. It's always nearly similar after all; most opponents take one look at her Aggron, decide whether or not they have and advantage, an usually proceeds to try and destroy it's defense. The typicality of this thinking have allowed Stellar to played with different strategies throughout the years, and now is just another scene to play.
She'll admit, while Nick wasn't the first to have a Pokemon to attack such wide range and from airborne, she didn't expected it so early just yet. The fire is heading towards Aria, yes, but she's right behind, and her mind clicked to a certain stance.
She's no liability. Not anymore.
She stepped backwards quickly, just enough to let the stray flames licked the grass beneath her feet, but not touch her.
Aria wasn't even concerned.
The Aggron know too well that that attack could hit her trainer, but also that said trainer could dodge, and that's what Aria trust upon. Instead, the Steel Type focused on the dragon above, already quickly calculating how to take it down. A glow enveloped it's body, and suddenly, the Aggron is fast, way faster than someone at that body size could ever be.
Stelalr smiled; Autotomize certainly is a surprise move for most.
A light blue beam was emitted from Aria's mouth. The Aggron shot an Ice Beam at the airborne Dragon, aiming for the wings.
Notes
Nah, over the Aggron's dead body. She have defended Stellar from much worse, and over higher stakes.
