EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.

Josh had decided to get a good breath of fresh air, not to mention visit a local ruins while Izumi was busy at the Izakaya for the day. Along with Lightning, Josh had arrived via the back of a Rhyhorn, Turk. Returning Turk to his Pokeball once they had arrived, the blonde looked up at the ruins in front of them.
It was weird, really. Doing this without Izumi. But with her being busy as of late with the Izakaya being busy, he had to undertake these things by himself. He supposed separation made the heart grow fonder, and he could use some alone time to think after all, after all that Izumi had... Well, told him about. He still wasn't 100% sure about his feelings for the girl. She meant a lot to him, yes... But a relationship was a big thing. And he wasn't used to love. He knew there was something there, he thought as they walked into the ruins...
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found WISE GLASSES! Looks like another digger lost their glasses in the dig. Lucky you these are just for show, so you can probably sell them off or keep them for yourself to make yourself look smart?

Josh kept an eye on the horizon in front of them, and an eye to the ground. There always seemed to be something on the ground that could be crushed by accident if you weren't careful, or a stone you could accidentally miss if you didn't keep an eye there. And that, was how Josh noticed the glasses on the ground. Now, normally when he was with Izumi, Josh would find himself or Izumi accidentally crushing these things. Instead, he stepped over them, instructing Lightning to step over it as well as not to crush it, in case whoever lost them would come back for them later. He hoped so, anyway.
"Hey Lightning, do you hear that?" The blonde would ask the Pikachu, who looked over at his Trainer. "Pika?" Lightning would chirp in response, his ears perking up as Lightning would look around, seeming to hear something as well. "Pika Pi!" Lightning would cry out as he would duck, prompting his Trainer to do the same as a swarm of Zubat and Golbat would fly over their heads.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found a RELIC CROWN! A crown made in a civilization about 3,000 years ago. A maniac will buy it for a high price.

Well, that was close. The dynamic duo kept down as the swarm of Zubat and Golbat would continue to fly, in an entire line of them, toward somewhere else in the ruins. Josh had to wonder, was this a home to them? They usually only flocked areas such as caves and the like. He had to wonder if there were any Pokemon like this one, as well. Maybe some Woobat? Or Swoobat? Maybe even Noibat and Noivern? And on Zubats and Golbats topic... What about Crobats? Did they flock in these ruins as well? He was curious, and hoped he'd find out in time.
For now though, they would get up once the danger had passed. Josh brushed the dirt off his pants and looked over, noticing the junk crown that he'd seen many times in past ruins. He let out a sigh and motioned for Lightning to follow as he would keep going.

The Plume Fossil would go unnoticed as the duo would continue their trek through these mysterious ruins. A Plume Fossil would be a decent discovery indeed, if not for the fact that Josh already owned an Archen. Not just that, but his own Archen had ALSO been resurrected from a fossil, with the help of Denise Williams. Granted, the only fossil he needed now was the one that could resurrect Cranidos, from a Skull Fossil. He was looking for that one for sure, especially considering that Cranidos was, as Denise said, her favorite Pokemon, and it would be fitting for their last bit of fossil business for the time being to end with Cranidos. But the chances were slim, he knew, unfortunately.
Josh and Lightning continued their walk, and he was curious on if they'd see another swarm like the one before. Josh heard a noise though, and curious, he would walk another way toward it, Lightning heading after him.

As the two walked into a clearing, it became clear what the sound was coming from. Zubat, Golbat, and yes, even Crobat flocked in this section of the ruins! "Whoa..." Josh whispered as he looked around at the droves of Zubat, Golbat and Crobat that flew around. This was why they were in these ruins. They had made it their home! "Piiika...." Lightning whispered as they would carefully walk into the clearing, gently, carefully, trying their best not to disturb the Zubat, Golbat and Crobat here. That was when Josh nearly tripped over something. Catching his balance, he looked down to see some kind of stone under his foot. Picking it up, he smirked faintly.
"A mega stone..." Josh whispered, looking over at Lightning as he nodded. "I don't recognize this one, but its best we keep going. Let's leave these guys alone, shall we?" He would suggest. "Pika" Lightning chirped quietly in affirmative as they left the Pokemon be.
WISE GLASSES!
RELIC CROWN!
Plume Fossil!
Tyranitarite!
