EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

With the old ruins she hunted in practically depleted of resources, Yumi had to find somewhere new to hunt for these little mega stones. Luckily for her the Debris had signs of many ruins from many eras, odds were she'd just have to walk in a straight line and eventually she'd find another one. With Lucia, Maria, and Bryson all a bit tuckered out from her last run in the flooding dungeon, Yumi decided to bring out the only two pokemon she had left that weren't her trip home for protection, both Tabetha, her Fraxure, and Vinyl, her shelgon, trudged alongside her, ready for any encounters they may face.
"Okay remember guys, we need to train up good, we got a sparring match with Josh next week so let's take on whatever we find okay?" the two pokemon gave confident nods, each of them ready to take down any threats they may face in the search for a new hunting ground for mega stones.

Trudging through the rain, Yumi's two dragons weren't too happy about the conditions they had to travel in. Whether they were resistant to the rain thanks to the huge shell they were stuck in, or a born battler who should be able to tackle any conditions, it still wasn't pleasant. It was even more annoying due to the fact that it was their own trainer who had caused this weather. They just wanted to get some beatdowns done, catch some new pokemon for the dumb red head, and get outta here.
Spotting a buizel popping out of a lake in the distance, the dragons realized this may be easier with each passing second. The rain was drawing out a lout of water pokemon, meaning it was far easier for them to find targetts. Both pokemon looked to their trainer who only sighed and gestured for them to continue. She needed a buizel anyway, especially if she was gonna start doing water travel again. Cardon and Chuck may have been good swimmers, but she needed something a little faster and less...dense, for longer trips.
Having been given the go ahead, the two dragons had no reason to delay. The shelgon was the first to move, rushing forward with a zig zag pattern as he performed his dragon dance, raising a claw up to strike and go straight for the head of the water type with a dragon claw, expecting to get a nice and heavy hit out to start off the battle, only to suddenly find his claw was meeting the air, and the Buizel was leaping off of Vinyl's head. The shelled dragon turned, expecting an attack from behind, only to watch as the water type rushed towards the other dragon who was lagging behind, striking Tabetha hard in the chest with a spinning aqua jet. The Fraxure screeched out as the attack practically drilled into her chest, before stiking it away with a dragon claw of her own, leaving both dragons glaring at the coxy little buizel.
Yumi was already hoping to catch this little tyke, he was fast and had potential, and with how angry her dragons could get, she knew full well she'd have to give them some help this time round. "Vinyl! Rock slide around it, don't aim for it! Tabetha, get in close with aerial ace to take it down!"
The two pokemon growled but accepted their orders, rushing forward towards the buizel, Vinyl stopping a few feet short and summoning his rock slide as Tabetha moved in with another aerial ace, slashing the Buizel before she could truly react, forcing it back and ultimately pinning it against the rock wall formed by the rock slide. Yumi smiled a little as he plan seemed to work. "Now, get back and let Vinyl weaken it!" Not wanting to fully KO the buizel, especially as it seemed cocky enough to make her pay if she went too hard on it, Tabetha was forced to back away, Vinyl rearing his body back before firing a hydro pump from the hole in his shell, blasting the water type back against his own rock slide until it was dizzy from the strike, teetering back and forth until Yumi tossed out a pokeball to catch it.

Yumi smiled as she pocketed the pokeball that contained the latest addition to her team, patting the pocket of her bag that it rested in before giving her two dragons a little playful ruffle on the head. "You guys did well. Kinda impressive how well you're starting to work together. Josh musta put you guys to the test!~" The two dragon's smiled confidently at the praise, proud of their work. However with the rain seeming to only get heavier, she had to keep moving and find some ruins to search, if not just take shelter inside of.
With her dragons getting annoyed by the rain, Yumi let them run ahead in the aims of trying to find a new place for them to rest at, sending out one of her pokemon that was more likely able to handle to weather with her, an snorunt she called long ago by the name of Zuki. The female snorunt shivered out of habit before realize she was not caught in a blizzard, but instead just a strong rain, instantly becoming much more confortable and shivering more out of delight, bringing a little chuckle with a pet of it's head. "You gonna help protect me for a while?" The snorunt gave a smiling nod and cuddled her little cloak like growth around her tighter, rushing along beside Yumi with her own tiny legs.
A carbink that had watched the earlier bout with Buizel glared angrily as the red head trainer passed his path, unleashing the fury he felt from this trainer capturing one of his wildy friends. Earth hovered around him, disturbing the earth enough for Yumi to notice, her eyes widening and ready to pull the machoke from her belt to fight against the ancient power the carbink was preparing. Before she could send him out however, both her own snorunt and the carbink let loose, the heavy earth met with a chilling blast of blizzard strength winds, the rocks freezing into chunks of ice before shattering mid flight, leaving a very happy snorunt dancing left and right as the Carbink seemed to get only more enraged, growling from it's tiny form, which Yumi could sadly only find adorable now that she knew her snorunt was likely a match for this ancient power toting carbink.
"Alright Zuki! Take it out!"
Another rock type attack was quickly thrown out, the deadlier stone edge this time, only to be met with another similar ice tack in response, ice shards clashing with the sharp stones and sending them on a completely different path, keeping Zuki and her trainer safe as she unleashed another blizzard, the chilling winds blasting over the carbink, and slowly coating it in ice until it was no longer even able to float, a heavy clunk symbolizing it's drop to the ground.

Yumi hoisted up her little snorunt onto her shoulders as she travelled further along the edge of the lake the earlier buizel had hopped up out of, hoping she'd find some ruins that had been built close by. The reason zuki was on her head was because she made an excellent rain guard, and the storms were only starting to get worse. Thankfully, with a sigh of relief, she spotted a nice set of ruins up ahead, or at least, it seemed like ruins. The fog was only making her job here harder.
"Okay, just a little further and...ohshizu." Yumi halted as she reached the bottom of the steps that lead up to the entrance of the new ruins, slowly backing away as she spotted the Onix sleeping soundly at the top, the groans it made showing it was on the verge of waking up thans to the rain. "Okay...maybe we better go find er...Bryson or the dragons...maybe even Lucia could-" "Sno" Yumi was a little shocked to hear a defiant sound from her snorunt as the ice type hopped off her head, the little pokemon bulking it's chest out. "Er...you sure about this? I mean...it's an onix. Those buggers are big!" Zuki stood strong regardless, hopping up the steps until the onix was in range of her blizzard, taking a long, deep breath, and shooting out the chili winds all over the sleepng onix, almost sending it into an even deeper coma from the cold, only to have the chilling winds come to the point of a stinging chill that forced him to waken, rearing his whole body back and roaring out as his powerful stone form rose into the air, Yumi backing away just a tad, but ready to support Zuki no matter the outcome.
Enraged, the onix reared itself back before charging down the stairs, demolishing most of the stone beneath him as his snake like form forced it's own path down the steps, roaring out as another blizzard tried to slow him down, his joints locking up in the cold, and makingg the resulting rage tackle a lot slower, and thus, a lot softer. Regardles, the immense size of Onix sent Zuki flying over Yumi's head, the red headed trainer of the little pokemon catching her before she tumbled into the earth, sighing in relief as the onix slowly seemed to be freezing up, Ice forming between the rocks of his body. Still in Yumi's hands, she unleashed a final blizzard, Oniz rearing back for an attack, but never striking down, just halting mid rear and falling to the side, ice shattering around his body before he fell back into a deep, coma like sleep, clearly not wanting to wake up this time.
