With one Gem already in hand Kuto had hopped atop her hovering Metang, trying to get a scope of the land from a higher vantage point. That and it was far faster than forcing herself over the bumpy terrain that was the destroyed ruins of Nue's past. Honestly she should probably mark down the next set of ruins she finds just so she can pass on the information to some professor who was big on history or something. Might be able to earn herself some money out of it if she managed to choose her words carefully.
Back down on the ground, Glint was riding atop the Lucario Nickson to also get a faster and easier lay of the land, his nose still trying to sniff out the closest gems. There was a thin scent but it was nowhere near as strong as when he spotted the blazikenite. There was something, just nowhere close.

With nothing seeming in sight, Kuto was already beginning to wonder if the blazikenite she had found was just a fluke. Pulling the gem from her pocket, a few other thoughts about the nature of these gems also began to fill her head. For one, why on earth where they all so pristine and perfect? Sure it might be possible to cut one, but they were so valuable she wouldn't be the first one she knew to try it. They were always found as perfect spheres, and no matter what rubble they were found in, they were in perfect condition without a scratch. She just held the gem in her fingers, trying to find even the slightest sign of wear and tear, a scratch, a nick, absolutely anything, until she ultimately had to give up.
"What on earth are you made of..." With one question lingering still in her mind, another was soon to come.
