It had been an eventful couple of days for the small town of Polar Point, but like any other event, the festivities had to come to an end. The third day of the Polar Point Party had rolled around, and as such, the doors to the town hall were wide open with the smell of deliciously cooked food coming from inside. Three enormous rectangular wooden table had been set up in the main room, with enough seats to fit all of the citizens of Polar Point and the visitors, along with a smaller table set up in the front with four or five seats reserved exclusively for Olivia and her select Team Aqua members. On the outer edges of the room where large buffet tables with steaming plates of food. Some of the Polar Point delicacies included were Friend Wingull, Stuffed Pelipper, Backed Ducklett, Roast Suckling Spheal, Salted Magikarp, and baskets of freshly baked bread.
Olivia watched as people came through the open doors, looking around for a friend to sit with before grabbing a plate of food and sitting with said friend. Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves, which was one thing the Aqua Leader was thankful for, and the people chatted away while they ate. The event had truly been a huge sucess for Polar Point, bringing much needed money into the town and perhaps a few new citizens, and more importantly, a success for Team Aqua. That crude image of Aqua that had been left over from the team of the past was exactly that, a memory of the past, fading away with all the good the new Aqua, Olivia's Aqua, was doing. She already had the trust of the people of Polar Point, and now, the majority of Nue saw her and her team as a benevolent figure.
The leader of Aqua stood up from her chair and held her wine glass up, tapping her knife against it gently, gathering the attention of the room as the ping echoed through out it. A warm smile shone on her face as she began to speak to the participants of the Polar Point Party. "Thank you. All of you. Thank you for making the first annual Polar Point Party a huge success!" Olivia said, using her free hand to motion to all of the people sitting in the dining hall. An uproar of applause came from the people attending the feast, and after a moment or two, Olivia continued, adding, "I am so grateful to the people of Polar Point for providing a place for the event to take place as well as providing such great food and being wonderful host." Again, the people applauded the hard work of one another, appreciating the thanks they deserved. The Aqua mistress took the chance to take a sip of wine before continuing her speech, saying, "I would also like to thank the wonderful visitors who decided to come to our small island to participate in the events. All of you made this festival what it was and for that, I am thankful." Fewer people than before cheered, mostly because quite a few of the people visiting had left already, but they were still happy for being thanked. "Finally, I would like to thank my team. This festival would not have been possible without the efforts of Team Aqua and the constant supervision my members put into ensuring a safe and fun event." Olivia said at the end, gesturing at the people sitting at the table with her. Everyone cheered at that, appreciating what she had done for them in putting this thing together.
As the rest of Team Aqua finished blushing and thanking her for the shout out, Olivia said a final word to end the winter festival. "And now we commemorate the final day of the first annual Polar Point Party, may we have many more in the years to come! I hope all of you have safe travels returning home and enjoy the feast!"
