Bayonada was amazing. Seriously, it was like Danny was meant to be here. After attempting to train in the wilds without obvious signs of improvement, Danny figured that a change of scenery would help to spark some sort of passion for being a super serious Pokemon Trainer that was hiding deep inside of him. His Pelipper, Larry, casually flipped into the sea breeze, looking just as peppy as he used to when they lived back in Hoenn. Maybe that was why Bayonada felt so much like home. Hell, it even had a place dedicated to Wailords on the outskirts of the main land. The moment he first heard about the place, he knew he had to check it out.
It brought back memories of his wee Danny days, when he used to go Wailord watching with his mom and played with the wild Wingull that gathered around the beach. The place had a good vibe about it, from what Danny could tell, and after seeing a few wild Luvdisc pop their heads out to greet anyone that passed by, he got the feeling that the Pokemon here were treated incredibly well. The Wailords must've been deeper into the ocean, because he sure couldn't see any from the part of the beach he was roaming across, but judging from the various boats and docks that stretched close to the horizon, he took that as a clue on how to meet and greet those elusive park mascots. Adorning his imaginary explorer's hat, he whistled for Larry to stick close to him as he skipped to the docks, originally planning on catching a ride on one of those super cool Wailords for the lulz, but after eyeing the park a bit, another idea popped into his head. Why not give his grumpy Carvanha a taste of this wonderland? Even better, maybe they could turn it into some sort of training-educational hybrid of an experience. The Pokemon here were comfortable, happy, wild and energetic, and his Carvanha wanted to watch the world burn. Maybe it'd be good for him to be around all these good influences and let loose a little.
Yeah, good ideas are good.
"Vanillaaaa Killa! Stand at attention, brosky, because today's all about you. That's right--you. You you you. Aren't you lucky?" He popped the Carvanha's Pokeball open while he crouched close to the edge of the dock, beaming at the Carvanha's weary expression when he popped his head through the water's surface. "Larry can help you out if you wanna explore the park, but try to stick to the water if you can. The exercise is good for you. Aaaand maybe you can impress the other lurkers while you're at it." With a jesting click of his tongue, Danny hummed and swung his arms back and forth like a jolly pendulum. Vanilla didn't look amused, and when he looked to Larry for a hint of sympathy, the Pelipper merely looked away and pretended that it wasn't his problem. 'Well, screw you too, buddy.' Vanilla snorted, wincing as bubbles rose out of his gills and tickled his sides until he moved away. The most he could do was stick close to Danny, occasionally weaving through the planks supporting the dock as if it was his own private race course.

Hercules and Ichiro had just finished some mild training in the gym; now they wanted to have some fun and relaxation. Ichi had heard of the Wailord Sanctuary through an aide at the local Pokemon Center; he often told himself he would drop by and visit, but he never had the chance to. Now was a good time- he and Herc had nothing to do, and so he decided it would be a great idea to go for a swim in the sanctuary, or at least get his little Karp some in-water training for once.
He set Hercules into the water near a boy with dark hair and a menacing looking Carvannha.
Alright, Hercules! Have some fun- after another hard day's training, you deserve to rest a little bit.
Hercules was disappointed. He liked the training quite a lot. The currents in the water were rather weak. However, this Carvannha looked pretty interesting. Ichiro watched as his Magikarp began to swim towards the mean-looking fish Pokemon. He was worried for a moment, but honestly believed that Hercules could handle himself in a fight; hopefully that would not happen and there would be no fight to handle himself in, but it was nice to be prepared.

On a bright and cheerful Saturday, naturally the place had its fair share of people walking around the place. The farther Danny walked through the docks, the less crowded it got, but if he squinted his eyes and looked past the glare of the sun's rays, he could see the distinct shape of a small crowd of people near the end of the dock. Judging from the small row boats that were tied up to it, he assumed that this was one of the ways people got to meet their very own Wailord without harming them. Starting to get weary from the heat, Larry dipped his wings closer to the water, managing to spray a refreshing mist across his backside that settled into a heavenly chill. Whenever he flew close to the water's surface, he managed to catch a hint of red and blue dashing nimbly between the the gaps in the dock's structure, treating it like some kind of lazy obstacle course to keep his mind off the vigorous cheer that could've drowned the Carvanha at any moment.
Eventually Larry returned back to Danny's side, paying no mind to the Magikarp that approached Vanilla from behind. "This place sure has a lot to offer. Think we should try the boats? I'll kick you off if you get seasick like the last time you got on a boat." The memory summoned an army of goosebumps that marched across Danny's arms, and even when Danny crossed his arms and patted them down, the horror of bird gunk on his bare feet wasn't something he was going to forget any time soon. Looking to Larry to see if he felt even a hint of guilt upon recalling one of the most miserable moments of his life, Danny balked when Larry suddenly clung to his chest, bumping his beak against Danny's ear as the bird let loose a malicious growl that could send even the toughest kid on the block sobbing and crying for their mother. "Piss off." Shoving the Pelipper off of him with a grunt, the temptation to give the bird a light whack on the head had him lurching forward as if he was going to do something, but he stopped when he caught the gaze of a few concerned pedestrians walking past him, whispering in hushed tones until they left the scene.
Wow, Larry. Wow. Screw you too, buddy.
Danny might've had his problems, but Vanilla was confronted with a strange Magikarp that trailed behind him as if he wanted to strike up a conversation. Or maybe it wanted a fight. Honestly, Vanilla couldn't tell. Wild Magikarp rarely bothered him when he was a wild fish back in Hoenn, but the Pokemon here were something else. They were friendly. Too friendly. Would it kill to enjoy a new ocean without having a bunch of happy-go-lucky Pokemon rubbing their good fortune in his face? Deciding that it'd be better to ditch this punk, Vanilla kicked up the speed and started bolting over and under the various wooden planks that blocked his path. He didn't trust himself to swim through this chaotic mess with max speed, but maybe he could shake the Magikarp off his trail.

Hercules the Magikarp gave chase to the Carvannha. Perhaps by doing so he would help increase his own speed, as Carvannhas were one of the more speedy species of Pokemon. Hercules mustered all of his strength into a dash, following the menacing looking fish, gaining momentum as he dodged under planks and boards that blocked his way. A determined glare was painted on the fish's face as he raced through the water. Once he was right behind the Carvannha, the current stirred up by its tail pushed Hercules back some and offered some water resistance; however, Hercules swam through it. The goal here was to provide his own source of training- and in order to train himself, he would need to overcome obstacles by himself too.
Meanwhile, Ichiro walked around the park. He checked out the cute little gift shop and made his way out onto the boardwalk. As he did so, his eye caught the attention of the same young man with the dark hair he had seen earlier; he was having some issues with his Pelipper. Ichiro decided to be social (For a change) and approach this young man.

Vanilla Killa wasn't doing a good job of shaking off the Magikarp, and while he was hesitant to put himself at risk of faceplanting into a pole, the Magikarp boldly continued to chase after him. The Carvanha couldn't tell if his pursuer was oblivious or fearless, but the Magikarp's persistence is what had Vanilla turning around to finally face him. Crinkling his lips into an aggravated snarl, the Carvahna dared the Magikarp to follow him and bolted out from underneath the dock, traversing across schools of easy-going Luvdisc as he shot towards the deeper waters. If this punk Magikarp wanted to go, then he'd have to deal with everyone in their path.
<'Scuse me.> Vanilla's manners could barely be heard as he weaved across the bright pink vortex, occassionally messing up and brushing up against the Luvdisc that he was so careful to avoid. Their squeaks of pain weren't ignored, and he felt bad about it. His Rough Skin came in handy for battles, but it just about got in the way for everything else. Even if he wanted to be friendly with any ol' fish, if they got too close, his sharp scales could unwittingly cut into them at any moment. If anything, that was the Magikarp's big chance to catch up if he wanted to test his speed against a trained Pokemon.
Danny's Pelipper problems eased up when he finally shoved Larry off of him, but their playful bickering didn't go unnoticed by a concerned stranger that happened to pass by. He was a youthful looking guy, with his cheeks still chubby with hopes and dreams. Originally Danny assumed he was the taller of the two, but the closer the stranger got, the faster Danny realized that his calculations sucked. All he could do was huff and cross his arms at the kid's observation, figuring that the scene was pretty self-explanatory. "He's been an asshole as long as I can remember. There's no getting through to this guy." He flipped back his thumb towards the deviant, who pretended not to notice as he circled over the pair as if he belonged with a flock of Mandibuzz.

Hercules had gotten bored of chasing the Carvannha once he saw the tremendous school of fish Pokemon that was between them, He swam back to Ichiro, who was above him on the boardwalk, and returned to his ball. Ichi then remembered that he had recently obtained two new Pokemon- a Gible and a Dratini (which was hatched). The Gible was named Ghazan, and the Dratini was named Ryuu. Both Pokemon were relatively strong swimmers; even Ghazan, who was part ground-type enjoyed the water tremendously. It must have been the dragon-type resistance.
Seeing as though he had both of their balls with him, he let them both out; the two excited little dragons ran in circles around Ichiro, then took notice of the water and leapt off the boardwalk and into the blue. Ichiro turned his attention back to the young man; his pelipper now circled over the pair rather menacingly.
He looks like he's a handful. Is he always like this?
While Ichiro tried to make pointless smalltalk with this man, Ghazan and Ryuu frolicked around in the water. They swam in circles, chasing around schools of Finneon and the occasional Horsea. Soon, they found the Carvannha that Hercules had been chasing earlier. Naive as they were, despite its menacing appearance, the two little dragons swam towards it.
