elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

Her body quivered in response to the loud music that blared into her ears conquering the entirety of her senses. Her eyes closed and her mouth slightly agape as her voice trailed along the creeping blankets of shadows that ducked beneath the blinding lights of Flash City. Her hands placed on the smooth straps of her pink and white backpack, her small dainty frame taking small steeps deeper and deeper into the alley's caverns as her small Cleffa sat silently on her shoulder. Only ever so occasionally did the star-shaped Pokemon let out a low mummer in response to the darkness that soon engulfed her very being. Mentally her mind recalled what her aunt told her about this city, it was unlike any other.
Born of flashing lights, gambling, and fancy restaurants it set itself apart from all of Nue with its over the top technology. The city's technological advancements made it but a superpower in comparison to the lesser. While originally the flashing lights drove away the plethora of Pokemon that originally wandered about the city, only as of recent had their numbers increased and their appearance to the citizens known. This was he second stop on her tour of Nue, and having heard these rumors she couldn't help but to investigate the rumors of the demons that went bump in the night.
As she heard the shrieking sound of terror blast through the music's overcast she couldn't help but to grin and silently, yet eagerly, slip towards the noise. Her hands now slowly moving across her backside and her eyes opening to view everything straight ahead. "Some poor woman must have gotten scared by one of these delightful Pokemon," she mused as she made her way around another corner. The dim lights provided her the perfect walkway as she finally caught wind of the shadowy figure whose image breathed down the metal fence of the alley. She didn't even give the little critter a chance to speak before her voice cut through the silence that was placed between the two.
"Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Summer Grey and you're going to be the catch of the day."

The putrid scent of burning rubber trailed through the air as the blanket of shadows that served to cover the Elekid slowly dissipated revealing the demon's true form. The small plug like Pokemon letting out sparks of electricity as it stepped forward, its arms pointed towards the pink-haired beauty and its eyes morphed into a glare. She smiled, instantly, pulling a Poke Ball from her pocket the small red light revealing Miel the Swirlix. The small ball of cotton letting out a loud yip as it bounced along the ground awaiting directions from its trainer.
"Miel, time to get some training done and maybe catch some more buddies. We don't have too much time, so let's end this as quick as we can start it. Hit em, with Draining Kiss!"
Bouncing ahead, the Elekid was caught off guard as the strike connected, Miel's lips planting firmly on the Elekid's cheek causing its body to glow a deep red and a green orb of light being pulled from the Elekid and placing into Miel's body. The Elekid relished in this, but it lasted for but a moment as it was met with Thunder Punch only seconds after. The Swirlix screamed in pain, only to be met with the electric Pokemon's Low Kick sending him flying back in the direction of his trainer his small body skipping across the ground in the process. Catching himself mid-flight the sticky Pokemon used his tail as an anchor to stop itself from flying back too far.
"Damn, he's strong," she mused before she grinned.
"Miel use Fake Tears then Draining Kiss again!"
Sweet tears wrapped in honey bled from the cotton ball's eyes, his entire face contorting to give off the illusion of sadness. Summer watched from a distance as the Elekid seemed become saddened by Swirlix's cries, his eyes looking down at the ground in shame. This was his chance, and Miel took it dashing over to the Elekid and placing another kiss on his cheek delivering the same effects from before only this time he wasn't met with a Thunder Punch instead his ears shattered from the loud Screech that the Elekid produced. Miel's body quivered as he fell to the ground unable to stop the loud noise from piercing the night sky, his body soon becoming a victim to the multiple Thunder Punches that the plug Pokemon produced. The yellow brute was grinning in the process. "He knew!" she pondered as she watched in horror while her Swirlix was almost beaten to a pulp. She had to act fast or Miel would be done for.
"Miel! Entangle Elekid with some of your thread! Then use Wish!"
It was common knowledge that Swirlix as a species was known to entangle its targets in a sticky white thread so that it could either escape or turn the tides of any battle. Good thing it was chock full of sweets, right?
Opening his mouth, Summer smiled as the stream of compressed sweets was released from its mouth and onto Elekid, strangling its entire body allowing Miel to finally stand and use Wish. His body glowing in a bright white aura as his wounds slowly began to heal themselves. But Summer wasn't done, she was going to give this little brute a taste of his own medicine.
"Let's end this! Use Draining Kiss as many times as you can before Elekid gets out!"
Miel wasted no time in dashing over to the Elekid and placing multiple pecks of affection onto its face. Constant green balls floating in the air and being absorbed into Miel's candy coated fur; the small Elekid struggling for freedom while letting out screams of terror in the process before it eventually found itself close to faint. Summer grinned as the little Pokemon finally broke free only to run back into the shadows where it belonged. Her eyes grew wide as she felt the gluttonous Pokemon dive onto her frame and lick her face in affection, something he had never done since his capture. She smiled. Things were only going to get better.

The sweet subtle sounds of roaring wind came crashing into her ears as the small purple balloon soared in front of her and the sticky cotton-candy Pokemon that was now clung to her hip, while the star-shaped Cleffa rested peacefully and silently on her shoulders content from not having to battle for the time being. However, small doe eyes shot forward when they locked onto the ball Pokemon, the little cotton ball letting out a shrill cry of glee as it bounced before its new opponent, his large tongue still hanging from his lips.
"Eager, huh? Well Miel let's get this done, baby! Let's start this off right and use Aromatherapy, follow up with Draining Kiss!"
The gluttonous Pokemon let out a loud roar as it released an aroma that smelled as sweet as honey and as cute as candy; she used this simply for the sake of knowing that the move was very calming, which could make for an easy capture if the Pokemon was calm. Only moments after did the little ball of fluff dash towards his target with the attempt to land a kiss on his cheek only to be dodged by the little balloon floating the air. Now in the air the little balloon pointed its head downward to face Miel as it began spinning releasing a cyclone of purple wind that crashed head first into the ball of fluff, his body being toppled back a few meters. His body moving in mid-flight he caught himself by releasing a thick stream of sticky-candy coated thread from his mouth creating an anchor that allowed him to stop near instantly.
"Miel are you okay?!"
Turning back to his trainer, he smiled turning back towards the Drifblim whilst bouncing in the air in anticipation.
"All fired up, huh? Okay let's bring em down with Fake Tears and then use Draining Kiss!"
Sweet tears fell from the cotton-ball's mouth as it began following his trainer's orders, the tears sending the balloon slowly drifting down its body now within arms reach of Miel as it began to check on the crying Pokemon. But as with all things, the little ball of candy grinned viciously before planting a wet kiss onto the opposing Pokemon's face causing its body to glow a deep green as a green orb pulled from its body and was absorbed into him.
"DON'T STOP NOW! USE DRAINING KISS AGAIN!"
Without hesitation the little brute crashed into the balloon, his mass completely outweighing the weightless Pokemon as he planted another firm cheek on his face. The orb appeared again and the little balloon struggled for freedom.
"Miel, follow this with Aromatherapy!"
The little ball of fluff released a sweet scent from his form, causing the Drifblim to stop in its tracks, its entire body growing limp as it became victim to the sweet aroma that spewed from the little candy's frame. Now calm, Summer took this as her chance to throw a Poke Ball. She watched in anticipation as it began to shake with the hope that maybe the little balloon belonged to her now.

Small doe eyes widened as the four electric Pokemon came tumbling from the corners of the city's darkest alleys, each of them carrying a scowl that could send most men running, but unfortunately for them Miel wasn't like most men. His small cotton candy frame was so determined for evolution that he jumped at the chance to battle the electric Poke Balls. Now Summer wasn't going to let him go in alone, instead she sent the small recently caught Drifloon out for her chance to shine. The balloon Pokemon let out a scream of joy as it floated over to its recently caught trainer planting a firm kiss on her cheek before resuming its normal position.
"Drifloon use Ominous Wind, and Miel use Draining Kiss!"
The baby Pokemon didn't hesitate as they dashed towards their targets, Miel planting to large kisses on two the opposing Voltorb and Drifloon spinning her body towards the two Electrode releasing a stream of purple that crashed into the Poke Ball like Pokemon. Though, her Pokemon stood at a disadvantage she watched in amazement as the four electric Pokemon let out shrill cries of terror after being hit by the newly powerful Miel and the apparently powerful Drifloon that stood at his side. These cries didn't last long as the four Pokemon poured together released a collective charge beam that shot forward crashing into both her Pokemon, the two falling backwards and hitting the wall only a few meters behind them.
"You guys okay?!"
Her voice carried across the alley as she watched her Pokemon struggle to move. They had obviously taken a lot of damage, and Summer knew Miel was prideful and the little glutton wasn't going to go down so easily. His small frame hopping back up as he dashed towards the electric Pokemon once again, ducking and dodging the charge beam that they fired back at him. Drifloon on the other hand took to the skies and allowed for orders to be presented to her.
"Drifloon Ominous Wind and Miel follow up with Draining Kiss again!"
Smiling the two Pokemon allowed for their combination to take place, this time Drifloon used Ominous Wind to lift the Pokemon into the air while also taking damage and as they came tumbling to the ground they were met with sticky kisses from Miel who was bouncing on each of them as they fell to the ground, using them as stepping stones to reach up to Drifloon. The small balloon Pokemon holding the Pokemon in the air.
"Okay guys, let's finish this! Miel use Aromatherapy and Drifloon use Ominous Wind one more time!"
The electric Pokemon caught on to this as they prepared another Charge Beam only to stop as they smelled the sweet aroma that spewed from Miel. Though the move was meant for status ailments it could also be used to calm angry Pokemon and catch them off guard. Which worked. Drifloon dropped the sticky Pokemon from its arms silently, as it twirled its body releasing the purple wind that scooped the Pokemon into the air once again, this time sending them packing somewhere deep into the alley. Smiling, Summer called her Pokemon back where both were met with a victory hug and the calling of another approaching Pokemon.
