The last month had been extremely kind to Thomas in terms of finding the Mega Stones. Aside from finding a spare Keystone, Thomas had also found three other Mega Stones, one of which he was able to handily trade for another Mega Stone, one he found out would come in handy once a certain Pokemon of his had fully evolved. One of them was a spare of a gift he had received, and the other was a Pokemon he'd actually have to find.
But once again, it wasn't the trainer who was venturing into this section of the temple. This time, it was Ripper the Scizor. The area of the temple was filled with some kind of poison, and judging from all the corpses of various ages scattered around the area, of both humans and Pokemon unsuited for the conditions, it was a wise decision to send Ripper out to deal with this.
The black Scizor came to the end of the hall, and entered the room.

Ripper would be perplexed by the sight he would see as he entered the next room. It was one of those useless vases Thomas told them all to avoid when searching for the stones. But it was the thing that was under the vase that caused Ripper to stop and look at what was going on.
An Oddish was dancing around with that stupid thing on its head.
The black Scizor couldn't help but look on in confusion as to what this was supposed to accomplish. Hell, it only made it easier for him to kill the stupid thing if he really wanted to, since it didn't acknowledge the armored insect stepping into the room.
A loud crash resounded through the room as the thing slid off of its head, the poisonous plant looking on in shock before bursting into tears, sobbing at losing its vase.
Ripper immediately left the room to continue his advance through the poisonous area of the temple. He wanted nothing to do with such a crybaby. |

After that last sighting that Ripper just wanted to blow off, some crybaby weakling, what he would see next would guarantee that he'd be out of this place quickly, and with something to show. On a pedestal in the small room was a Keystone. Thankfully, grabbing the thing was easy, as there was nothing obstructing the path there. After grabbing the stone, the Scizor simply walked out of the room, and past the Oddish who was still bawling pathetically in response to breaking that useless vase.

Thomas saw the black Scizor approach with something in his arms. Thomas let the armored insect come to him, before seeing that he was in possession of another Keystone. This was the third one he or his team found in the Mega Ruins. Not that Thomas was complaining, however, as he knew of someone who wanted Keystones, and was willing to pay a decent price for the thing.
"Excellent work, Ripper! Now let's head out.", Thomas told the bug as he took the Keystone and recalled him. He then made his way out of the temple. |
