BAYONADAVILLE'S BOOTY
Bayonadaville's always had an issue with pirates. A particularly rowdy crew abourd the Whiskey Whiscash have been a notch above the rest in activity in the previous month, and a bounty has been issued for their defeat and capture. A small boat will be provided for the mission takers, but be aware that the foggy nights make it difficult to track them.
Members 2+ Rewards •20 Catching No Location Bayonadaville Notes The pirate crew consists of five people, the captain and four mates. The mates each have two pokemon, and the captain has three, with the potential for evolutions among them.

A cool breeze hurried to welcome the vespertine apparition of a girl clad in long-sleeved garments so very unfitting for the setting around her. The first time Unnur Liefsdóttir had been in Bayonadaville, everywhere it seemed to be brimming with life and joy and carnivals. The second time, it was different: there was an odd stillness in the air, in the sea even, that made her look back whenever her feet took her past one block and into another. It was unnervingly still. She travelled the entire length of town in this fashion, never once able to put her anxiety to rest, until at last reached the shore. There, a huge surprise awaited her.
Pirates.
No, that was not right. Clearly, it was a ship. A pirate ship, to be precise. Unnur looked at it with a mix of curiosity and confusion and—and something else. Something other. She did not know. How did she even know it was a pirate ship? In presentation, it looked no different from other ships on dock. The watercraft wasn't particularly huge for a ship, either, though it certainly appeared to be that way when compared to her petite body. Everything did. Unnur got lost in the way its metallic core curved down and then up for a minute, trying to figure out why it felt so similar, why she was getting this feeling of déjà vu, before snapping back to the present.
The amount of hate Olivia had for pirates was beyond that she had for the idiots she put up with on a regular basis. Pirates were the kind of people who brought a bad name to Aqua, and after Aqua was gone, they were the ones who kept the negative connotation about them running through the rumor mill. The brunette woman had gone to great lengths to destroy and rid Hoenn of the pesky pirates that littered its blue seas. She utterly despised the theives and bandits who sailed around pillaging coastal towns that were much like her hometown of Slateport. It was her duty as a citizen of Hoenn, a Slateportian, and as leader of Aqua to stop those pirates.
Here she was again, out to obliterate pirates. The people of Bayondaville, a coastal town in Nue, had been complaining of a particular crew of pirates who live on ship known as the "Whiskey Whiscash". Apparently they've been more active as of recent and needed to be taken out... Permanently. Word got to Aqua and instead of sending a grunt to do it, Olivia decided it would be best for her to do it. She had more experience with the sea salty men and knew how to deal with them.
A small boat had been provided for her to get to the large pirate ship stealthily, versus trying to board from the main deck. With the sea fog hanging over the dock, Olivia made her way to her vessel and readied herself for the upcoming mission she was to take.

She was in.
Well, not in the pirate ship itself, not yet, but rather in a small boat that would be taking her to the pirate ship. She wasn't sure whether its final destination would be that, to be honest, but there were very few alternatives on the horizon and she had no time to consider the pros and cons of jumping in the boat with the brunette woman thoroughly.
Unnur's arrival brought imbalance to the boat—those did because of every little movement anyway—and a couple of seconds had to be spent in quiet stillness before things could return to a state stable enough for both females to resume their activities.
It was only then that she took the time to take in the older woman's appearance. A quick scan revealed nothing out of the ordinary, except maybe for the very fact that she was either trying to sneak into a pirate ship on a mere boat, or trying to return to her allies on the same, aforementioned boat. "You're heading for that ship, right?"
It was bare and cold inside the small ship, sort of like her heart, and Olivia was a little bit more than disappointed. The only items she had been provided with were a grappling hook attached to a long rope, a lantern, and quite a few handcuffs that she assumed would be used to arrest the pirates. Either that or it was a set up to some kind of freaky S&M bondage scene...
Olivia got inside the terribly small boat and was about ready to launch off from the dock when a child's voice stopped her. "Shit." The brunette woman muttered to herself as the young girl asked if she was headed towards the ship. It wouldn't be much use to lie, if anything, telling the girl the truth might scare her off.
Standing at her full height, which wasn't too tall but taller than the girl, she said, "As a matter of fact I am. Now head home to your mother or whoever takes care of you, lest you face the wrath of..." Olivia paused for a moment. She wasn't wearing any Aqua related stuff, and, well... Lying always helped her when she needed it. Continuing, she said, "... the pirate queen!"

Her senses were tingling. Unnur was certain a curse had been muttered in the vicinity, and the most logical suspect was the old brunette woman before her, but she knew brushing off other possibilities was never a wise move. She squinted as her feet brought her to a stop just in front of her suspect, and raised her head when the stranger stood taller to declare her position and title within the pirate crew she'd just admitted to being a part of.
Unnur was skeptical. Did that mean her gut feeling had been right? That the ship was, indeed, a pirate ship? Why would an actual, present-day pirate confess their profession so easily? Did pirates even have queens? Was she going to try and seize her liberty, now that she'd fallen for her trap? In that case, Unnur had made a grave mistake. But then that didn't make much sense at all, for why would the pirates try to shoo potential victims away?
There were far too many questions rounding the young blue-haired trainer's mind, inquiries that made her question both the validity and any amount of truth in those words, but mainly just confused her. Unnur needed to see how far she could go by playing along. "Does that mean you'll take me? You will take me to the big boat, right? Will your subjects throw a big welcoming party for your return?" Unnur's expression was full of fake innocence and underlying deceit, but her tummy was actually grumbling, and the hand she positioned on top of it was rather dramatic. "I do have to admit I'm quite hungry right now."
Olivia hated children, she really did. They whined, complained, got in the way, and were generally useless. After being a parasite in the womb of the mother, they come into the world to once more, suck away resourced from their homes and families for the next sixteen years or so. Earlier, maybe, if they become a trainer and leave home. So it came as to no surprise when the young child started complaining about food... and her stomach began to rumble.
Don't even get her started on questions, Arceus have mercy, children are the most curious creatures to have cursed this planet. Once the child was done interrogating her and complaining, Olivia said with a sigh, "Yes, you may accompany me, you urchin. As for the details of what I plan to have happen afterwards, that is none of your concern. I want you to do as I say, when I say it." There was a reason to her madness. While the Aqua Leader was by no means heavy or loud, she couldn't compared to a young girl who was barely entering puberty. The girl could sneak into and out of places that would trouble Olivia no matter how hard she tried to be stealthy. Another growl of the girl's stomach hit her ears, and the brunette pulled an energy bar from the bag beside her and handed it to the girl, whispering, "Eat this, shut up, and get rowing."

The pirate queen was offering her a cereal bar. Unnur was not going to reject said cereal bar. No precious, precious food would ever be rejected or—heavens forbid—wasted by the ever-hungry pit that was her stomach, and so she accepted the small plastic bag with a nod, opened it, and munched on it. The snack filled but a small portion of her tummy, but it was sweet and fruity and so Unnur guessed it was all-in-all fine. Acceptable, at the very least. She would take acceptable over no lunch at all today and any day. Even though she had actually had something to eat just a couple of hours ago.
When the old lady asked her to get rowing, however, Unnur drew a blank. What, rowing...? Did people actually row their boats? Unnur had never rowed any boats. She had Alaska to take her wherever she wanted or needed to go, after all, and riding a Lapras required a lot less effort than rowing an actual boat. She stared at her frail and very thin arms, clearly unfit for any manual work, briefly wondering if the brunette was really expecting her to do this. Well, the least she could do was pick up those paddles and pretend she was helping. Right?
They would reach the pirate ship mostly thanks to the pirate queen's physical labour alone, and throughout the ordeal no words were exchanged. At least Unnur had honoured the other two of the pirate queen's requests.
The girl munched on the energy bar Olivia had provided while the mistress of Aqua was forced to row. The little one incapable of moving the boat much more than a few feet, her body not developed enough to deal with the strong waves of the seas. It was up to her to get them to the ship, but at the very least, the girl was quiet. The small boat she had accquired took about half an hour of hard work on Olivia's part to get them to the pirate ship. Their vessel knocked itself into the larger boat near the rear end with a gentle thud. There was no obvious way on to the ship, considering they weren't at the front part of the boat, but no matter for her. Olivia pulled out a rope ladder that was sitting at the bottom of the boat, and with a flash of light, she released her Marill, Calypso. With a whisper, she said, "Launch yourself up there and drop us the ladder." The water type pokemon nodded and picked the ladder up, the jumped in the water. A few moments passed and suddenly a torrent of water shot skyward with the Marill a top of it. She landed a top the boat and let the rope ladder fall to her trainer and then froze it in place with a blast of ice. The Marill stayed stationed up on the boat, guarding the ladder.
Olivia smiled as the ladder fell to her, and after steadying herself on the boat, took hold of the rope ladder. She pulled at it, testing the strength, and got ready to climb. Before she did climb, however, she told the girl in hushed tones, "Be careful when getting on the ladder, the boat will shake when you take your weight off of it. I'll wait for you on the boat, and no matter what, don't make any noise." Her words spoken and, hopefully, retained by the child, Olivia climbed the ladder. Waiting for her command, Calypso greeted her trainer with a thump of her tail. Olivia waited for the child hidden behind a large crate of what smelled of booze, and unfortunately, waited too long. A member of the pirate crew happened to be passing by, and noticed the ladder that was frozen to the ship. The "Pirate Queen" was not one for risk, and not wanting him to alert any others, revealed herself, her hips swaying side to side. "Hey there, big boy." She called, her voice threaded with subtle charm. The pirate chuckled and made his way towards her with a creepy smile on his face. He put his arm around her waist and pulled her towards him, saying with a gap toothed grin, "What's a fine lass such as yer self doin' on a dangers boat like this?" Olivia faked a smile and said, "Just looking around..." She laid a hand on his chest, and commented, "Your pecks are as hard as rocks, impressive." The man was happy with himself, and began to flex, saying with a wink, "You can feel around other places if you want." A sly smile creeped on Olivia's face as she asked in fake amazement, "Really? I guess I'll just have to take you up on it." Her hand began to move across his torso south, and the pirate's eyes sparkled with amusement, and then, began to water as Olivia punched him in the nether regions. She pushed the man off of her hip and whistled for her Marill to come over. "Freeze his arms and legs to the floor." Olivia said, brushing off the feeling of the man's arms around her. The water type pokemon was happy to oblige and froze the man's appendages to the floor with beams of ice. "Bitch, you better watch yerself. Me crewmates will be on the lookout for me so ye just wait unti-" The man frozen to the ground began to speak, until Olivia stopped him by shoving a napkin she had in her purse in his mouth. She motioned over to Calypso and said, "Freeze that as well, but allow him to breathe." Once more, her pokemon did as she ordered and now she had a frozen over man to watch over. Where was that girl?

It was the sound of paddles hitting the choppy waves of the sea that had Olivia run over to the side of the large ship and look down below at where she had left that kid and her boat. What she saw instead was said kid paddling away in her boat, with a cereal bar halfway stuck in her mouth. Olivia muttered, "Little shit." as she continued to watch the girl fade into the distance and probably go back to the dock. This was one of the many reasons why the brunette detested children, you could never trust them.
Sighing, Olivia returned her attention to the matter at hand, which was the pirate frozen to the floor. Calypso stood watch over the man, just as Olivia had commanded, and as the Aqua Mistress approached, the man's eyes began to grow with fear. She scoffed, and said, "Don't worry, I'm done with you... For now, anyway." Olivia was ready to continue on her mission to find the rest of the crew, which according to her intelligence was five strong. One down, four to go. Walking past the man, she snapped her fingers for Calypso to follow, and the two of them walked further along the ship.
A few minutes passed before they saw anything of note, but eventually, they came across a small cabin with a light on and quite a bit of noise coming from it. Olivia could only assume it was a celebration of sorts, perhaps for the pirate crew's latest raid?, and if her assumption was correct, that meant they'd be drunk. A sly smile began to work its way across her face as she looked down to her Marill, asking, "Ready for some fun?" The small blue pokemon squeaked in reply, ready to execute any plan her trainer had in mind.
BAM! The sound of Calypso's iron like tail slamming into the metal door echoed through out the ship and left a large dent in the door as well. Just as quickly as she did it, she was gone, running away to hide with Olivia as quickly as her small feet could carry her. From the the door came two stumbling fools, a look of confusion on their faces. "What was -hic- 'at?" One asked the other, shrugging in response as he inspected the door. The one bent down said, "Must of 'ave to been sometin' heavy to leave a mark like 'at." "Heavy indeed, boys." Olivia said, walking out from behind the cabin, Calypso following. Both of them grabbed for their pokeballs and releasing their pokemon, two Carvanha, and asked, "Hey, what are ye' doing on this ship?" Olivia chuckled at their futile attempts to intimidate her and responded with, "Taking care of the drunken trash poisoning the seas." Calypso struck first, or attempted to, and launched herself at the two fish pokemon. The other pokemon, however, were far more ready than their trainers, and one of them attacked with such speed it could only be compared to a jet, as it slammed its body into Calypso. The other said something in pokespeech which Olivia didn't understand, but infuriated and confused Calypso. "Play rough with those fish!" Olivia called out as she saw one of the pirates slip on some of the water that his pokemon produced. Idiot.
Her Marill looked around in confusion, seeing two of everything, and threw herself at what she thought was a pokemon. Thankfully, she was correct, and began to abuse the pokemon as her body glowed pink. Calypso was able to down one of the Carvanhas, but as it went down, its partner hurled itself at her and wrapped its poison tipped fangs around her body. She screeched in pain, garnering a laugh from the two pirates. Furious, but keeping cool, Olivia said with an unnatural calmness, "Throw the damn thing back at the scum who released it." Again, Calypso would go for what she thought was the enemy, but ended up hurting herself, causing Olivia to wince. "Aqua ring!" Olivia's voice rung pure like a bell, and cut through Calypso's confusion, and the pokemon summoned water from the ocean, and it began to spin around her with rapid speeds, healing her. Her vision clear, the Marill leaped forward and played rough with the second Carvanha.
Smirking, Olivia made her way to the drunken pirates who looked a bit more scared. "You fuckin' bitch! Why I otta' -" The pirate on the left began to say, stepping towards her, ready to fight, when he suddenly stopped. His feet had been frozen to the ground. Calypso ran past him and repeated the process on the other man while Olivia handcuffed the first, whispering in his ear, "What "otta'" you do?"

The heel of Olivia's boots hit the metallic floor of the ship and sounded across the main deck as Olivia and her little blue companion sought out her final target, the Captain of this wretched pirate ship. Three of the four crew members had been subdued and arrested and the Aqua leader could only assume that the last lay with with the captain, his first mate or something of the like. Olivia glanced down at the Marill by her side, noted the look of focus and how she held her self, and smiled. While the small blue pokemon was not her "starter" per se, but she had grown to appreciate the river rat. Not only had Calypso saved her from the crabs of that retched lake but she had proved her worth in battle to Olivia many times after that. Olivia knew her pokemon would serve her well.
And well she must, for the two had come upon a larger cabin than the last, and the handle to open was polished, and glinted silver in the moonlight. Yes, Olivia was at her final destination for the night and the move must be made. Olivia had her Marill dowse the floor in front of the cabin with an icy wind, causing a thin sheet of ice to roll over it. The leader of Aqua smiled and opened the door, a smug look on her face. "Greetings, Captain." Olivia said, her voice surprising the two men inside. The more well dressed of the men stood up, his mug of beer crashing to the floor, shouting, "Oi! Woman, what are ye' doin in 'ere and ow'd ye get up 'ere and past me men?!" His hand hovered over a pokeball, and his first mate held a dagger of wicked looking steel. Olivia could only laugh at the threat of the knife and pokeball, saying, "With ease, you sickening sea serpent. Now, drop your weapons and give yourself and this excuse for a ship up."
It was a laugh that came first and then a flash of light as the captain released the first of three that quickly followed, a Kingdra and then two Carvanha. Olivia's smile kept true as the pokemon were released, and a laugh parted her lips as she stepped out the door, calling, "Catch me if you can, boys!" While her voice rang light and clear, Olivia was worried as she put her back to the wall just to the side of the door. She knew that three were far too great a number for Calypso alone, but, she had no choice. "Be wary." She said in a whisper.
From the door came the two men, followed by the three pokemon, and the men slipped and slid, crashing into the wall of the boat. Olivia watched as her Marill followed through with the plan, freezing the two men in place. Their pokemon, however, were not so easy to over take. With the two men down the Kingdra blasted Calypso with a pulse of Draconic energy which she batted away easily. With the Kingdra in shock, Calypso took the chance to leap at one of the orange fish and play rough with it, causing it to faint. Closer to the Marill, the second Carvanha lashed out, its fangs glowing with a dark aura as it bit into Calypso's skin. She winced, but then slammed her tail into the pokemon, as hard as iron and then readied to attack once more when suddenly, a blast of black hit her in the eyes blinding her. A screech came from her mouth as she let go of the Carvanha. Olivia watched as her pokemon wandered blind, and was bitten with a mouth of poison by the Carvanha. She needed help, but Olivia had brought Calypso as her sole pokemon and now that she was blinded... Olivia looked around for something to help and her eyes fell on the two frozen in ice.
She rushed towards the mass of ice and man and keeled next to the first mate, saying, "This might hurt." before she slammed her two first into the ice over his mouth. The frozen water fell to the ground and the man cursed. "Listen, listen! Do you want your freedom? Or would you rather be stuck in a cell for the rest of your life?" Olivia said, staring into his eyes, occasionally glancing to the pitiful fight happening between her Marill and the two enemy pokemon. The man looked back into her eyes, then back at his captain and said, "What is yer price, wench?" Olivia's hand met his face in a time quicker than he could blink, and the clap of his cheek to her hand echoed a bit before she held his face in her manicured hands, saying, "Listen well, fool, you may go to jail or serve me by running this ship as your own, but first, assist me in defeating those damned pokemon." The man, looked at her for a few seconds, heard the cryings of the Marill, and said, "Elliot. 'Tas my name and I'll help ye, wen- Missus. Release my pokemon and I'll give 'im 'ta orders." Olivia smiled and patted his cheek before slamming her heel into the area near his waist, an explosion of ice coming forth and revealing the red and white ball.
From the pokeball came a Skrelp, who was poised to attack Olivia when a shout from Elliot stopped the beast. "Hydro Pump" Elliot ordered from his icy cage. The jet of water hit Calypso head on, damaging her a bit yes, but also cleaning her eyes. "Play Rough!" Olivia called while Elliot ordered for a dragon pulse. The Marill exacted her revenge on the Carvanha while the Dragon Pulse hit the Kingdra. The fish gone for, Calypso turned her fury onto the Kingdra, and beat it to a watery pulp. "Well done, Elliot. We may have use for you yet."
A day passed before Olivia handed the three captives and the captain over to the city of Bayonadaville. The Mayor was pleased, as were the presses, even tho the last member of the crew had been killed and the ship, unfortunately, sank from the battle that ensured. As Olivia smiled for the camera for her picture to be in the paper, the title, "AQUA SAVES BAYONADA!", to be put under, she couldn't help but think of how the ship was safely sailing back to Polar Point, along with a new member of Aqua.
