With phoebe, her lairon, still trodging along this time as Denise examined the latest stone they had found, comparing it to both the gem she had found earlier, and the one in the picture she had printed out from that secret funder she had recently came into contact with. There was no doubt about it, the size, smoothness, and the color was all consistant, this was one of the mysterious mega stones. She wondered for a moment why she was being asked to find them for her funding, afterall, she would love to research them herself, but more so to the point, they seemed incredibly easy to find. Perhaps it was just first time luck. Afterall, she wasn't bound to be this lucky forever, right?
"Keep on Phoebe. The sooner we found another the sooner we can start making our way home. We may even find a spare to take back to the lab for our own research.~"

"Well they were bound to stop showing up sometime." Denise hopped off her lairon, resting her hands in her pockets and starting to travel on foot, a cautious eye to the ground to see if she could spot any more shimmering little gems amidst the ruinous rubble. The way she was stepping all these ancient structures like some recent rubble from a demolished apartment complex would have likely royally ticked off some of her fellow professors. Arthur perhaps coming to mind. Sure he focused on fossil pokemon, but she'd wager he held worth in all things ancient one way or another.
"You seeing anything girl?" The Lairon behind her gave a shake of her head, but Denise could tell she wasn't really looking. With a chuckle, she let the Lairon rest, venturing off on her own for a bit and jumping down to another pile of rubble, thankful she wore her boots today rather than those prissy heals she kept getting badgered by her co-workers to put on.
