There are many secrets of myth, lore and strange happenings in Verdigris Bosky, despite its serene area and peaceful people. Though the locals want no trouble it doesn't stop the newcomers. Curious tourists, Ghost hunters, UFO enthusiasts and the unfortunate passers by sometimes accidentally, or purposely get caught up in the phenomenons that speckle the area. The locals have adapted a way of living with it by simply not speaking about the unexplained, or hiding truth as an excuse is printed in the headlines. Sometimes they just accept it and keep moving on. But fear not traveler there is hope. Should you find yourself lost simply follow one of the roads. Bosky is set up on a grid network of fields you're bound to run into a familiar area and if you're out past dark you can go towards a lit farm house and they'll gladly set you up for the night. Do you have a strange experience in mind?

The one road leading towards the covered bridge is where the Headless Horseman is seen most often. Cross the bridge and you'll survive.
The old Battle Field is a prime place for ghost sightings. Along several Inn's, Bed & Breakfasts, and strange locations such as the edge of the forest, roadside, well, feed barn etc. Get creative with your haunting's and post them up.
Over the tree's, strange lights in the woods at night, Crop circles, Close encounters, Abductions. The list goes on. Dare you investigate? Or talk to the locals who were abducted or considered 'crazy' and are only whispered about after they pass? How about crop circles which the farmers see more of as a menace?
Went into the old train tunnel but didn't come out on the other side. Just walked into the trees one day and was never seen until five years later and has no concept of time being passed. Started acting strangely then disappeared without a trace.The list goes on.
A Bosky legend of a Whimsicott that escaped sheering for six years by hiding in the caves and abandon mines.
A small island in the middle of one of Bosky's many lakes that's over run with Buneary. What was once a little farm girls pet was taken and hidden away on the island to avoid being eaten. If you row out to the island and bring good food you can be covered in bunnies.

Full of farm and country with misty mornings, rolling hills and serene meadow and forest scenery. 95% of the food for Nue Region is grown and raised in the vast acreage here and recently there's been a boom in Bed and Breakfasts popping up for those of the city wishing to get away from noise and hustle of city life.

While most of the farm land is all used the houses that are surrounded by it are sometimes owned by city folk who consider them their 'Country House' and have made deals with the local farms to sell or rent the land to them putting it to good use.

Sometimes you'll hear the name Verdigris dropped by the locals. That's the true name of the area even the Post Office still shows the address as Verdigris. But thanks to the Mayor from forever ago the he went and changed the name to Bosky Hamlet. Naming it after himself. Unfortunately the name change took place during a crucial and popular boom to the area. The new comers seeing Verdigris as being too hard to pronounce and started to call it Bosky. To this day there's a bit of a tiff between the local families of what's the real name.
Farming, Breeding, Berry growing, Honey makers and Floral gardens are what fuel this place. From Butchering, Dairy, Shearing, even wine making, The five star casinos over in Wizen, the Luxury train in Iceburgh, the World Class Five Star Restaurants that fill Flash City to the Upper Crust Grocery in Tynntill Town. All the food comes from Bosky.

Bosky's weather is a temperate one who experiences the four seasons but on a much more mellow scale. Mild winters that are chilly with a possible snow shower or two it's rare to see anything above a three foot snow fall.. However, they do have a rainy season that begins early summer and lasts nearly two months before drying out and bringing forth the heat and trailing into the Indian Summer/Fall.

A very pretty urban park in the day time that turns unnerving and sometimes sinister at night. The area becoming filled with either ghost and dark types. Has a Lumineon pond (much like koi) The Park itself is a common urban 'central park" nestled in the heart of a city with a lake for boating and fishing and a picnic area. At the smaller end there's a white iron arching bridge over top of the water that's ornate and considered a romantic viewing spot. A much larger one is built over the middle that connects the Eastenders to the Heights and Rail Yard allowing transportation to shuttle back and forth all day.

ICE TYPE
BOSKY'S ICE SKATING RINK
The Ice type gym is located in the city's local ice skating rink. The gym itself is only open Monday through Thursday and taken down for the weekends, when the rink is prepared for the ice skaters.

When the gym is set up inside, the rink is turned into an icy maze. The challengers will have to navigate their way through while facing dead ends, icy mirrors and snow piles from above. There's no room for any Flying types to go up and above to scout ahead, and melting the walls will only result in the challenger being disqualified. And after you try your luck at the gym, you can come back on the weekends to skate.

A little ways from the main area of town, this run down house is actually the base of operations for the Psychic Gym. Surrounded by farmland, you can often see any of the people who help keep up the Gym or even Novel himself sometimes out working. Its a self sustained farm that also donates any excess food to local charities to keep people and pokemon fed. Its open on Monday through Friday, from dawn until nightfall. On the weekends its closed down to process any food being moved out and for the workers to relax. Novel will only take one challenger a day, and its first come first serve.
[break][break]While the outside looks to be in less than stellar conditions and small, walking inside is something else altogether. The front of the house opens up to a small staircase, and when you travel far enough down, you come to a door. Behind the door opens up to a very large, calming area. Chimes are in the back of the room, being played by some unknown force. Everything is cast in a dim purple glow, and the floor seems to be mildly illuminated. The entire area is mostly bare except for a few shooting star and moon patterns on the wall. The floor has the vague pattern of the night sky as well. Two square black boxes are on both side of the arena, one for the Leader to stand in and one for the Challenger. After the battle has started, neither can leave this box or they forfeit the match.
[break][break]When the actual battle starts, it will be a three on three single battle. All Pokemon must be defeated on either side for the winner to be decided. However, all of the Pokemon fighting are expected to wear blindfolds. They can only rely on the guidance of their Trainers in battle and partners with a poor bond will do worse.
