| Rhafiel had always enjoyed Halloween, but maybe that was because of his love of dark typed pokemon. They were always the right amount of spooky for him. Patting Nyx, who liked to laze across his shoulders, he stepped up behind another person, eying the cauldron with a curious expression. He had an idea of what it did, and he'd never been adventurous enough to try it before. When the kid before him was finished, he stepped up, his expression impassive.
His costume was simple. He was dressed as as a vampire, wearing long black pants, a white button up, and a deep emerald vest. He'd never be caught without his cravat, of course, and his cape was draped over one arm. He slowly rolled up his sleeve, giving a slightly glance back at the Purrloin who only now started to wake from her nap.
Nyx lifted her head from his shoulder, giving a slow, drawling meow, 'Get something nice for me.'
Rolling his eyes, Rhafiel dipped his hand into the over sized pot. "Trick or treat, huh? Treat," he hummed lightly, his brow furrowed in concentration. How did this work, exactly? |

Even after what had happened the last time he had approached a bubbling cauldron like this, Zernebog was still willing to try his luck again this year. After all, why else would he be standing in a line in front of the pot while eyeing it like he would a particularly nasty Seviper?
It wasn’t his usual modus operandi to try something again after had happened last year, but this was a new year. Well, sort of, but that wasn’t the point. He figured that it was no worse compared to the labyrinth and his experience with bizarre creatures in Dragonspiral Tower, so he might as well try his luck. Nothing ever came out of being too cautious, after all.
So once the person before him was finished with the pot, he squashed the nerves that were starting to form and walked up to it.
”…Well, here goes nothing.” Zernebog inhaled slowly before exhaling through the nose. ”Trick or treat. I guess”
