elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

How could Josh forget that Zigzagoon and Linoone were great at finding things? Well, he remembered today at the suggestion of a friend, and he just so happened to have 3 of them back at the Ranch. So when he visited Kalos, this time he had brought his 3 Zigzagoon with him. The three were, of course, excited to be out in the world again, and exploring with their new Trainer. There were so many rich and exciting things to see and explore and smell and find! It was an amazing adventure in a brand new region that they had never been to before! And the best part? They got to dig for treasure here!
The Zigzagoon were digging happily, and Josh smiled a bit as he dug using his own shovel. Anders, Lady and Scamp. Those were their names. They were inseparable. They played together, they battled together, and they dug together, it seemed. And they were digging quite well for their first time in the Badlands.
He just hoped that they had as good luck in finding things as the rumors said... Rare things.

The three Zigzagoon continued to work furiously. Josh wiped the sweat from his brow as he looked over at the 3 working Pokemon, smirking a bit at their dedication. It was obvious they were loving the opportunity to go out and do one of their favorite things out here. Josh had picked a great choice of Pokemon to bring for this expedition, it seemed.
Josh didn't have time to celebrate for long though. One of his Pokeballs would open, and out would come Wob. His Wynaut had taken a habit of letting itself out of it's Pokeball lately, in order to say one thing.
"WYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY-NAUT!" Wob let out as he looked around. Josh sighed. Not again...
He shrugged. "I guess I can't stop you, can I?" he asked with a chuckle.
"Wy? Wynaut, Wy!" Wob let out in response, seeming to be curious about where they were. "We're in the Badlands, you see" Josh explained with a small smile. "I go here to find mega stones for my Pokemon, for the day that I finally grow a set and head on out to the Tower" he said. "It's going to be tough but... I have faith in you guys. I think you'll do great" he said with a small smile.
"Wy?" Wob let out, tilting it's head. Josh chuckled a bit. "Why did I think you'd say that?" he asked amusedly.

"Hmm.... Found anything yet?" Josh called out to the Zigzagoon. "Zig! Zagoon!" one of them, presumably Scamp, let out. Josh let out a sigh. It was starting to get dark out and they hadn't found a thing. Usually, they found something by now... But what were they going to do, with their "rights of passage" to the Badlands for this month being almost bone dry? And it was getting too late to be digging out...
Josh cracked his neck. They had to keep going. But he couldn't help but wonder if there were Mega Stones for Pokemon he regularly used like Charizard, Typhlosion, Pikachu, Blaziken... Izumi hadn't told him what Pokemon had mega forms, obviously. He would have to ask her later it seemed, but it was very likely that she was just as clueless as he was. They would have to visit the tower soon, it seemed...
He let out a breath. It was getting cold now. But they couldn't stop. They can't stop. As the Zigzagoon dug, Josh dug as well with his own shovel. Even Wob tried to dig with his ears, as much good as that did.

It was dark out now. They had been there all day and found nothing of note. Josh sighed. Looks like their luck was just rough today. Despite his efforts, the efforts if the Zigzagoon, and even Wob, they had so far come up empty handed.
"Alright you guys" he finally said, looking over at his team of prime digging Pokemon. "It's getting late out. We'll keep chugging along for now, but once it gets too dark out, we gotta hit the dusty trail" he said, biting his lip. His Pokemon nodded in affirmative and kept digging. They were starting to get tired too, and they could sense that their Trainer was as well. It likely wouldn't be long now before they all collapsed.
Josh dug furiously through the ground and sand with his shovel, determined to find the best damn thing they could find in the history of their digs. Something had to be at the end, the light at the end of the tunnel, something to make this all worth it...

"Hmm..." Josh said as he examined the Shiny Stone he had discovered, recognizing it as he pulled it out. "Well, it's no Mega Stone, but..." he trailed off, looking out at the sky. He sighed, it was way too dark out now to keep going. "Well, I guess better something then nothing" he said. Their passes for this month had expired... They would just have to recharge their batteries and come back in October.
He let out a sigh as he pocketed the stone. "You did great, guys. Thank you" he said with a small smile as he returned the Zigzagoon to their Pokeballs. "You too, Wob" he said as he tried to return Wob to her Pokeball. Of course, it sidestepped. "Wynaut!" it let out as she started to run through the Badlands, back to town.
"H-hey! Wob! Get back here!" Josh called as he chased after the Wynaut. "Pika Pi!" Lightning cried as he, after leaping off Josh's shoulder, would run after them.
