elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

To dig them is my real test.

And so, our blonde-headed hero and his scarf Pikachu walked into the Badlands for another day of fun and adventure. Doing what?
DIGGING!
Ahem.... Anyway, the two briskly trotted in mid-day through the Badlands, scouting for the right spot to start. Josh had become fascinated with the things they had found, especially these strange stones which he had a habit of collecting. It had become a tradition for him, and an excuse to visit Kalos more often. "Go, Salia" he called out as he let the Growlithe out of her Pokeball. She would bark happily as she saw where they were. "Salia, can you sniff out a dig spot?" he asked with a small smile. "Grrr-ruff!" Salia let out in response before sniffing around... Then she started digging.
Josh took a breath and watched, taking out the shovel and digging nearby as well, while Lightning dug elsewhere with a trowel, despite the fact it probably wouldn't do much good. Buuuut he wanted to help.

Diggy diggy digging digging, whatcha gonna do when the dig comes for you?
I don't know. But otherwise, the hours ticked and tocked as the blonde tirelessly dug with the shovel, the Pikachu used his tail as a trowel and the Growlithe continued digging as if it was just a brisk hobby of digging things... Which was probably fact since Salia seemed to be enjoying herself the most when she was digging. Finally, the three would take a break to eat some food and get some water.
"Ahhhhh..." Josh let out after a nice drink of water after the long hours of work. God, his shoulders were sore, but they couldn't give up now! He looked over at Salia who was drinking feverishly from her bowl of water, elated to go from digging to eating and drinking. It was like a dream come true for the Growlithe! Looking over at Lightning, he chuckled a bit as he noticed the Pikachu had decided to take a nap.
Finally, they finished their break and got back to work. Well, work for Josh anyway. For Salia, it was like going from one heaven to another. One the Growlithe seemed to heavily enjoy. Josh chuckled as he saw the joy in Salia's eyes as she dug, which spurred him on to continue himself.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RELIC VASE ! A vase made in a civilization about 3,000 years ago. A maniac will buy it for a high price.

Josh let out an exhausted sigh as he looked up at the sun going down. It was getting dark, it seemed. The day was gone, Josh and his Pokemon were wearing out. He just hoped they would find something soon.
"Salia, take a break" he instructed calmly toward Salia, who would nod and head to the little campsite they had made, curling up for a nap alongside Lightning. Josh would quickly call out Destructor, knowing the Bunnelby would be good for digging. Actually, he seemed to love digging. Just like Salia. He'd be good for this, especially considering the bunny was a good luck charm lately. Seriously, this Bunnelby had dug up some of the best treasures they had found in their hunts, including the strange stone that they had found last dig. Josh was proud of his little digging demon, and the Bunnelby was happy for the praise he'd received and the fact that he was helping out so much. Now, if only Josh could find a use for these stones... But for now, they were nice for collection. He seemed drawn to them for some reason... A reason he couldn't describe. Maybe they had a mystery to them, involving Pokemon? There must have been some reason that Trainers came here so often. Some reason he was drawn to things like this... They were the main reason he traveled to Kalos now, so often. I mean, there was the exploration, the Pokemon he could find there, the things he could discover, but... Nothing was stronger then the urge to keep on hunting for these things, he couldn't describe it.
He watched as the Bunnelby dug as if it was his life, before going back to work himself. It was getting dark, hopefully they could score something worthwhile beforehand.

"Hm, what's this now?" the blonde mused as he held up the stone that he had found. Well, not exactly found, it had kind of found him actually. The Bunelby by the name of Destructor had gotten a bit overzealous with his digging and sent an interesting looking stone flying through the air as he dug it out, sending it flying and thwacking into the skull of the blonde, who'd been focused on his own digging. Of course, no pain, no gain, but this particular stone seemed to give off a different sheen from the others he had found, like it was one you wouldn't find as often... Or maybe that was just him. Josh didn't know, but either way, he knew what he was keeping.
"Alright y'all, let's pack up" Josh said with a small smile as he pocketed the gem. The Pokemon would nod as Josh allowed each one back into their pokeballs once they'd pack up, and with a smile on his face, Josh would trudge back to the hotel...
