"God damnit, it's raining" Josh muttered as the heavy stormclouds that had appeared over their head had turned into raindrops falling from the sky. He'd been in the middle of a dig, with Lightning, Salia and Destructor doing the job. Josh sighed and pulled out a pokeball for Salia, who was now whimpering fearfully from the rain drops hitting her. "Salia, return" he said, returning the fire pokemon to it's Pokeball. "Well, that slows our efforts... And for some reason the dirt's been heavier then normal all day..." he mused. Even Destructor had been having trouble digging through. "We need to find a way to weaken it so he can get through... But how?" he mused. "Wait, I got it!" he said, looking up at the storm that had brewed above them.


"I wonder....." he mused, scratching his beard as he motioned for the Bunnelby to move away from the spot he'd been attempting to dig at, one of several spots he'd failed to be able to get himself into. "Lightning, use Thunder!" Josh called, pointing to the spot the Bunnelby had been digging into. "Pika!" Lightning chirped as his cheeks sparked... He was ready for a powerful attack indeed.


"Pika... CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" he let out fiercely, the electrical energy, which was aimed for the spot, getting caught somehow and shooting into the clouds above....


"... That's not good" Josh said as he backed up. A large bolt of lightning would shoot down onto the spot that the Bunnelby had been digging in, striking it with remarkable power. Josh took a breath and looked over at Destructor.


"Alright Destructor, one more try!" he said. "Bunnelby!" he responded as he headed to the spot and immediately got to work. Slamming down to dig into the earth, he suddenly got through and would start digging with ease!


"That's it!" Josh called joyfully. "You did it!"


"Pi-Pikachu!" Lightning chirped happily.

"Bunnelby!" Destructor let out excitedly, he seemed to have found something. "Hmm?" Josh let out. "Pika?" Lightning chirped curiously as they both walked over. Apparently the thunder trick had worked. On top of one of Destructor's ears was a strange stone that resembled the ones Josh had found before and had been collecting. But it felt... Different somehow, as Josh held it in his hands. His eyes darted around to ensure nothing would steal it or happen to it. He took a breathed and gently pocketed it. It was time to take the precautions they normally did when they found a stone like this, due to their wretched luck when they usually found something. Whether it was a flying Pokemon flying overhead and stealing it, or it getting dropped and breaking, or a Pokemon stealing it as it was dropped. Nah uh, not this time.

Josh smiled at the both of them. "You did great" he said to Lightning and Destructor. "Couldn't have done it without you. Now, why don't we take the team out for ice cream to celebrate finding another one of these stones?" he asked with a grin.

"Pikachu!" Lightning let out excitedly. "Bunnelby!" Destructor let out as well, and they followed the blonde out of the Badlands.
