elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

"Destructor, use Dig!" Josh had called out. "Salia, dig into the ground!" he had called to his Growlithe. Both the Bunnelby and the Growlithe respectively were known to be great at one thing: Digging. Gone finally were the days where Josh had to toil by hand by himself, with a Pichu scratching at the dirt with his tail. The blonde had acquired a nice little collection of Pokemon during his travels, and finally, things were starting to get a little bit easier.
Josh watched as both the Bunnelby and the Growlithe dug with absolute ease, feeling bad that they were doing the work instead of him. He was so used to doing all the work himself, that getting the Pokemon to do it felt... Wrong. So it wasn't a surprise to anyone in his party when Josh took out his shovel and got to digging himself.
"Pika-Pi?" Lightning questioned from the side as his Trainer started digging alongside the two digging experts. Josh shot the Pikachu a grin. "Hey, I can't let them do all the work, right?" he responded with a smirk.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RARE BONE ! A bone that is extremely valuable for Pokémon archeology. It can be sold for a high price to shops. ( Post a Mod Summons to exchange this for •15 )

"Growl, Growl, Growl-Ooooooooooo!" Josh's Growlithe suddenly let out. She'd found something!
"Hey, Salia. What did you find?" he asked as he walked over. Salia was trying to dig it out.... It looked like some kind of bone! "Hey, girl, did you find a bone?" he teased as he patted the fur on her head. When she tried to dig it out though...
Snap.
It snapped in half before cracking and becoming nothing but dust. Josh let out a sigh. But generally that meant the artifacts were weak and not worth much... "Well, might as well take the good with the bad" he said with a smile. "That just means we might find something better next time!" he assured the Growlithe, who had the saddest puppy eyes one could have. She looked so sad, thinking she'd messed up and failed her Trainer, but immediately went to panting happily as Josh smiled and petted her. "It's not your fault. Just means we gotta look harder!" he promised. "Cmon, let's get back to work!"
"Growl-Growl-Growl-Oooooooo!" Salia let out before she kept digging with a renewed vigor. Josh smiled and went back to digging as well.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RELIC STATUE ! A stone figure made in a civilization about 3,000 years ago. A maniac will buy it for a high price.

The team kept digging throughout the day, the tiny statue that had been dug up by the Bunnelby being completely ignored by accident as the poor thing got overzealous. It would fly out, undiscovered by the digging team before it would eventually be picked up and taken by a wandering Pokemon who happened to see a shiny thing. It was starting to get to night time before Josh looked up at the night sky.
"Whew..." the blonde muttered, sitting down to take a break, snapping his fingers as a sign for the other Pokemon to as well. "You guys have done good today. We'll go a little while longer after taking a break, and then we'll go if we don't find anything" he promised. Afterword, he'd begin laying out food and drink for the Pokemon, who would eagerly eat up after an exhausting day of digging. While they were doing that, Josh would scan the holes they had made just in case they missed something they had just dug up that the human eye might catch...

SMASH.
That was the sound of those ears of the Bunnelby, Destructor, true to name, destroying what seemed to be a vase made long ago, just as he dug it up. The Bunnelby would look around to see if anyone had heard it smash, before promptly hiding the remains of it under the ground before he got back to his digging. Sneaky sneaky Bunnelby, he was. That Wascally Wabbit.
"Find anything, you guys?" Josh asked as he looked over from his digging at the two Pokemon. Salia looked over and barked, shaking her head. "What about you, Destructor?" Josh asked as he looked over at the Bunnelby. "Bunnelby!" he let out, shaking his head. It was a lie, but he didn't know if his Trainer would scold him or not if he showed him that he'd messed up and smashed the treasure! And all the other Pokemon would be mad at him because they didn't get to go home sooner thanks to him!
Josh shrugged. "Alright, we'll go another... Say, 20 minutes. If we don't find anything by then, we'll go check into a hotel since it's getting dark, alright?" he said with a smile.
"Bunnelby!" Destructor let out before getting back to his work, now more determined then ever to find something so he could make it up to his Trainer for smashing the vase, and moreso for lying to him about it!
Salia meanwhile, barked and went back to digging as if it were her calling. Josh sighed and wiped the sweat from his brow as he went back to digging...

Eureka! He was saved! It was one of those stones that he saw his Trainer with! The Bunnelby was overjoyed at the prospect of redeeming himself as he held up the stone with his ears. "Bunnelby, Bunnelby, Bunnelby!" he let out excitedly as Josh and Salia looked over, stopping their work. "Hey, Hey!" Josh let out, grinning as he walked over and took the stone. "You did great, Destructor" he said, patting him on the head. "You did awesome too, Salia" he said, petting the Growlithe who barked happily.
"Alright" he said as he pocketed it. "I promised, one treasure and we'd go. So the whole team gets ice cream tomorrow morning, like I promised" he said, grinning. The two Pokemon would cry out happily as Josh led them out of the Badlands. It was getting dark too... Thank Arceus that they'd managed to find something on time. Josh didn't trust the Badlands when it was dark out.
