The Blaziken would respond to the offer with a high five, to which Josh would chuckle to. He was in pain, but he was proud of the work that Vulcan had put into this fight. And he would only get more and more impressive, he was sure. He looked over at what was formerly Yumi's attitude giving Kirlia, and smiled. A Gardevoir, impressive. He was sure it would be much more powerful now. A possible challenge in the future, he was sure of it as well.
"Thanks, Yumi" he said with a laugh to her praise. "Not too bad on your part either, your Kirlia... Well, Gardevoir now... Didn't seem to have too much trouble with those birds. I think we should be careful from now on about disturbing the flocks of wild pokemon though" he advised at the end. Aye, they had caused themselves quite a bit of trouble, alienating the Xatu and their Natu students like that. He would then follow along as Yumi would start heading onto the trail again, with Vulcan following along, and Lightning on his shoulder, looking over at his long time friend who had now evolved into Blaziken. "Pi Pi-Kachu!" Lightning chirped to Vulcan, who would look over at the Pikachu and give a fist in affirmative, to which they seemed to be conversing. "Blaziken!" he rallied in response positively. Josh smirked a bit at the conversation. Lightning and Vulcan were his 2nd and 1st Pokemon, respectively. They had known each other for a very.. VERY long time.
"I'm sure they won't" he agreed to her statement. "At least, as long as we leave them alone. Pokemon probably don't think too much when people are disturbing their habitats" he added. "I think I can see the end from here" he said, looking over at the distance. It seemed they were just about at the end of the forest. He couldn't wait, after all this, a good rest would be great.
