"So er...we had a few hiccups there...but we're cool now right?~"
Yumi sighed and rested her hands on her hips, looking over the remaining competitors. Some had won by default, and some were in it just because other competitors had left and Yumi neded to fill a space. Whatever the case, she was glad to have them, and things would continue as planned.
"Well, to those of you that remain, welcome to round 2!~ As a special treat, we're all gonna hop on a boat and head out to the very lovely setting of our next battle! So, come on! Grab your pokemon and lets go!"
Round 2 setting!
Out in the ocean far from slateport's beach, were 8 floating rafts, one for each competitor and one seemingly spare. Between each pair of rafts was a space of water were many logs, seemingly floating without any rhyme or order to them. There was also a single, much larger circular raft in the center, but it looked like too much force could flip it over.
"Welcome to round 2. While the arena is fun, this will be a straight up battle. Land pokemon are challenged by the fact they have to balance on the logs to avoid falling in the water. Water types are restricted by the fact the water is not too deep (an aura sphere could easily hit something hiding below) and sky types are limited by being unable to fly higher than 20 feet, so no thinking the sky is safe either. You fly too high, i set my gengar on your butts."
To emphasize Yumi's point, a gengar seemed to materialize out of smoke atop the boat, electrical energy surging from his finger tips.
"Hope you guys have fun, now, everyone pick a raft, and a pokemon!"
Round 2 rules!
- TYPE RESTRICTIONS - This was stated ICly by IC me, but to reiterate:
-Land pokemon, not really restricted, but you do have a messy terrain to work with, with 3 rafts, and a bunch of logs being your ownly footing.
-Swimming pokemon, You get to be in the ocean, sure, but it ain't too deep. A strong long range attack could probably make its way through the water to you. (Like a bullet fired into the water. Its slower, but still quite deadly)
-Flying pokemon, opposite to swimmers. No flying above twenty feet. May seem unfair, but its to ensure you cant avoid everything, and if you get hit, there's a chance of falling in the water before recovery.
IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH THIS, feel free to PM me with your opinion, I run this tourney alone, so its entirely possible I didnt think these through 100% - NO OP - I've said it before, I'll say it again. Feel like your opponent is overpowering you in some way? PM me. This battle has no gimick to win this time around, so this may be more likely to occur. Just try to have fun while aiming for the grand prize
- PM YOUR PICK - Send me your choice for your round. A single pokemon, its moveset, ability, gender, so on. When both picks are in, a round can begin.
- 3 AND OUT - Gonna be stricter on the rules. I forgot to mention this as a limit in the last thread, so I suppose its better I state this firmly. You have 3 days to post after the last post was made. When 3 days have passed without your opponent posting, you may contact me. It is then up to you if you wana send them a warning, give them an extension, or just take the victory. If I manage to spot the rule breaking before I'm notified, I will send a warning, wait a day, and then disqualify the rule breaker if no progress was made.
- BASIC 1 V 1 - I don't think I need to say much else? This is a basic battle with a fun arena, and some limits so no one has a terrain bonus. Hope you all have fun.

Yes thats right, I'm inserting myself to make an even 8. Don't worry, I ain't gonna roll in to conquer my own tourney, truth is I want in on some of my own fun. For my match(es), Mods/battle coaches are free to be the judges. Otherwise, its still me you come to.
