”Another day, another dig, huh?”
Zernebog’s lips were set into a wry grin as he watched the sun slowly begin to rise out from the horizon. This was one of the only two times in a day where his skin didn’t burn with a vengeance because of the merciless sun that blazed through the cloudless blue skies. At its zenith, not even sunscreen could ease the unadulterated heat that constantly seared his flesh.
However, he couldn’t say that this didn’t make for great heat tolerance training. It was almost as good as the time when he had been forced to stay in that hellhole known as Lavaridge. Only almost because that infernal town was right next to a volcano, which was the polar opposite of his home in so many aspects that his body had almost gone into shock when he had first reached it all those years ago. Of course, Hyperion took the time to mock him for his increased heat sensitivity and the fact that he was more lethargic than a frozen Shuckle due to the ridiculous amount of sweltering heat as well as the horrible-smelling volcanic ash that constantly wafted down from the volcano.
But he wasn’t here to reminisce about his terrible experiences with heat. He was here to do some more digging. Kalos had provided him with a lot of surprises lately, and he was sure that the place will continue to give him a lot of great things.
That was why he had Hyperion, Achilles, Atlas, and Rhea in the form of Atlas start digging already while the sun was still cool. He would join them, of course, once he had finished enjoying the sunrise. After all, there was still much training to be had, and not much time left to do it. And where better else to do it than the one place where he can also conduct his digs?
”Heh. Kalos is so awesome.” The white haired trainer muttered to himself.
