elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

With Gavin's tunnel back to the surface nearly finished, Yumi tapped her foot as she awaited the first break of sunlight, Ko-ken equally as impatient. He had to collapse the tunnel behind them five times to avoid the ancient birds following them all the way to the service. Even now he knew they could easily break through again if they so wished. They needed to hurry, and by the look on Gavin's face, he wasn't as close to breaking surface as he had thought earlier.
"We have to be nearly there!" "Scraft scraft!" "I know tunnelling is an art but we are in a hurry!"
Gavin growled and pulled his hood over his head, stabbing his shovel into the earth and turning, as if to make an angry comment when a sudden shift in the earth caught his attention. Everyone could feel it, the imminent disaster, and yet still, each of the trio screamed as the floor of the tunnel fell through, and they dove back into the caves below.

Yumi wrapped her arms around herself, screaming as she could see the ground getting closer below her. She regretted every last insult she gave Gavin about his tunnel digging, if he hadn't gotten mad at her they wouldn't be facing their end as pancakes. It was just as she felt like impact was imminant that a flash of blue caught her from the air, looking up, her arms still wrapped around her body, and smiling at the pokemon now before her. Her ever vigilant Guardian Ko-ken. "Heh, never thought you were the kind for last minute rescues." "Sa!"
Gavin of course had no saviour of course, landing (quite luckily, ironically) head first into the earth below, rolling off his horns and thanking arceus for his near impenetrable skull. With a quiet grin to himself, rubbing the dust off his hoodie as he glanced around, suddenly recognizing the tunnel they had landed in from his earlier escapades. It was where he first entered, and now, even as he looked up, he could see the hole back to his original tunnel, right next to the one he had just made, grinning with joy as he knew they weren't far from his exit tunnel. "Scraft scraft!" He jumped up with excitement, grabbibng his shovel and rushing off again. Yumi gave a quiet sigh as Ko-ken released her, unsure whether to follow the lizard.
"Archeooooooooooop!"
Of course, the screams of the birds from the opposite direction was enough to convince her. "Come on Ko-ken!"

Still rushing in the opposite direction of the demonic birds that had been the bane of his tunnels, Gavin stumbled back along the strange section of destroyed wires that seemed to give life to all the fossils that had lay beneath the earth here. A confident grin formed on his face as he remembered the "king" bird that he had so proudly stolen the crown off, chuckling quietly to himself as Yumi and Ko-ken finally caught up, the blue fighter lowering his trainer to her feet, each of them looking around for some sort of exit as the beasts closed in on them from the surrounding caves.
"Okay...so do you know where we are yet?" Gavin didn't seem to listen at all, focused on the wall with the wires again, walking over and curiously tracing his hand over the wall, feeling the rough, earthen stone that held the charged pipes in place, until a small patch caught his attention. It was like finding a bald patch on a dog, it was smooth, but not in the right way. The lizard waisted not time in slamming his shovel into the wall, ripping the chunk out, a red, shiny orb flying out in the mess. Yumi looked over and caught it out of the corner of her eye, rushing over to catch it, recognizing it as the same type of pearl that had given the fossils the charge they needed to revive. Twirling the new orb between her finger and thumb, Yumi glanced to her pokemon curiously. "You wanted to make sure they ha no other way of getting more?" "Scraft!" Gavin stood proud, but quickly held up a finger, pointing at the now weakened section of the wall and slamming his foot through it. It seemed to break as easily as glass, light bursting into the tunnels and bouncing off the natural crystals. The lizard waisted no time in dragging his master and friend out, sealing up their exit and darting out of the badlands.
