The blue fighter gently set down his trainer and turned to the tunnel they had just come from. A practical swarm of ancient bird pokemon crawled, clambered and flew towards them like insects clinging to the wall, rushing after the last morsel of food. In this case, they were specifically after Gavin, Yumi's Scrafty, as he had stolen something precious of their's. With no care for their reasons, Ko-ken delivered a flurry of punches to the tunnel walls, causing the birds to suddenly flee as the tunnel collapsed on itself, sealing the only way in for the birds, and the only way out for the trainer and her pokemon. The former of which was now bearing down, rather angrily, as she stood over her Scrafty.
"You idiot! What were you thinking waking them all up like that!?"
"Scrafty..."
Gavin hung his head, pulling out the shiny pearl that he had found in the machine. Little did they know, the small marble like object held great power, yet to be tapped into...with a sigh and a shake of her head, Yumi rubbed his horns with a playful smile. "I suppose if this is what made their weird wire thing work it's good ya got it..wouldn't want those things getting a bigger army huh?" Standing up and looking around, Yumi saw there was indeed no exit to the cave they trapped themselves in. "We need to get out...Gavin?" The small scrafty saluted, knowing full well what task he would be given, twirling his shovel in his hand before rushing to one of the cave walls, ready to get to work.
