Yumi rested her forehead against the table she was sat at. She'd stayed the night in Lavender town after having evacuated the radio tower of all the ticked off ghost types. For a while her mind had wondered why they were so upset, but, it was an easy answer to find. Afterall she just had to imagine how she'f feel if she and her pokemon were kicked out of the apartment without a choice. While she may behave and just find somewhere else, somewhere better and safer for them, a pokemon, maybe even one of her own, would possibly try and retaliate, perhaps...
Right now she was just taking some time to relax in the local cafe. She and Stellar had both spent the night at the same inn and decided to catch up at the cafe nearby for a breakfast snack before they each head their own way. Right now she was just waiting for her to show up with a tea in one hand and her pet Aaron's metalic scalp getting petted with the other. Max made a soft "whirrrr" sound, like a hum of pleasure as he nibbled on an iron bit inbetween his paws. She used to do this with Edwardo but...after his evolution yesterday he really changed. She didn't know why, or exactly what had made him change so much but his eyes, so full of life...now froze everything in their path. She felt a chill run through her whenever he looked at her now. At least something good came from yesterday. Two new additions to the crew, a gastly and a gengar. With such a high power pokemon in her control the rockets might respect her a bit more.
"Aro aro!~"
Yumi blinked, looking to Max as he gave her those cute, wide eyes that he hid as his secret weapons. The blue spheres of adorable doom that he only revealed when he wanted a hug or something new to nibble on. With a soft chuckle, Yumi swiftly admitted she could not resist, reaching into her pocket and revealing another small lump of iron ore. "Last one okay?~" "Aro on!~" Yumi giggled as he began nibbling once again, reaching over and scratching his scalp as she took a pleasant sip of her tea.
She had invited the other girl out, her form of apology for judging Yumi too harshly then. A breakfast snack before they go, possibly talk to the girl, understand her a little more. Stellar berated herself for being judgemental, but it's a trait that helps, at times.
She made her way to the local cafe, her choice of companion for today being Raven and Spring. The Umbreon and Leafeon flanked her side, the sisters enjoying the day out together. Stellar figured they might travel together for a bit, before she had to switch Pokemon out again.
She spotted the red head almost immediately, making her way to her side. What was the real pleasure of seeing, though, was the Aron on top of the table, and Stellar can't help but soften considerably at the sight. She remembered when Aria was just an Aron, it was such a long time ago!
"Hey, morning~" she smiled, taking her seat, "Mind telling me where you can buy iron ores like that?" Hopefully cheap because Stellar isn't exactly rolling dots, but she wants to treat her Aggron all the same. Beside her, her Umbreon sat down on her haunches, and her Leafeon took a look around before sitting down as well.
The waiter came over, and Stellar took a quick glance at the menu before ordering ice water. Then, she continued her conversation with Yumi. "I'm...sorry for yesterday. Was a little irked at the mission and their disrespect to the dead, but I shouldn't have taken it out on you."
She can't disrespect the dead, she simply can't. Too much lives have been lost in front of her, too much gone, and there's no way she can even think of disrespecting them unless forced or necessary. It hurts, and it shows in her eyes, a slight, pained look.

Yumi smiled as Stellar arrived, cupping her tea in her hands and taking a generous sip of the delicious milky drink, a warm flush appearing on her cheeks simply because the drink was so pleasant to have flowing through her. Maximus seemed to peer up also, keeping a curious expression on the girl sitting down opposite his trainer, tilting his head with a sweet little chirp, wondering what was going on, before realizing this was who they were waiting for and smiling cheerfully.
"Aron on!~" "Yeah this is them bud. Glad ya could join us." She gave her small pokemon another gentle scratch, bringing it to rear it's head back to enjoy the pleasent sensation more. Yumi quirked a brow when Stellar asked about the iron bits she fead her pokemon. "Oh er...I don't know the prices for the bigger ones, but small ones like this go for cheap. No one gets any real use out of them so I just pay a few dots to a some miners in town. Nothing too pricey, quite affordable really."
Her mind quietly trailed off for a moment after answering the girl's question, her hand reaching for the breakfast menu beside them and glancing over it for a moment before Stellar caught her attention again. Yumi was a little surprised she was apologizing, she thought the whole "you're not as bad as I thought" thing after saving her yesterday was plenty enough as an apology, but apparently not. The red head seemed to just dismiss the apoogy, waving her hands infront of her as if she was trying to say it was no biggie. "Really, I didn't have much of a good attitude towards it when I think about it. Real ghosts or just ghost types they deserved some more respect. Here." She handed the menu to the girl across from her, gesturing towards the choices it gave. "I'll teat you to a meal, my own little way of saying sorry."
Stellar took note of what Yumi said about the iron bits. She wondered if she could just go and release Aria near a mine can treat her to all the iron available, just for the sake of treating the Aggron. "Thanks for the tip," she said, reaching out and offering her hand to Max. If the Aron is amiable to her, then she will pat him, knowing the good spots for an Aron, having raised one herself, but that also means she knows if an Aron doesn't like her, and will back off if Max seems uncomfortable.
"...well, I have these," Stellar ruffled through her back and took out a spoon. It's one of those many spoons she bought in hopes that their steel is good enough for Aria to chew upon, but it's not enough. Nevertheless, she passed one to the Aron, offering it with a smile.
"...Yeah," Stellar smiled at the gesture, but turned flustered at the treat, "shouldn't that be my line? No way, I'll treat you." Below, Raven and Spring looked amused at the spoons that Stellar have in her bag. The woman continued by taking out a few Pokemon biscuits, handing it to her two companions.
The Eeveevolutions cooed in thanks, taking one each and chomping on them.

Max was more than willing to accept another hand trying to pet him, slowly nudging forward on the table into her hand, rubbing his head into her hand and cooing softly, clearly pleased. As soon as the spoon was brought out Yumi seemed a little confused, wondering what on earth she used them for before realizing it was her equivalent of the iron ores she gave Max. Curious, Max gave it a little sniff, his mask shifting as he opened his mouth to accept it, nomming on the wide end of the spoon and sucking on it softly, like he had a lollipop and clearly as happy as a baby would be with one. Yumi would probably have to keep that in mind for later.
"No no seriously." Yumi made sure Stellar kept the menu. "I have like, loads of money spare at the moment it's no problem. Besides if I could pay for all the ghosts dinner I would, so your the next best thing." The red head clearly wasn't gonna take no for an answer, having her mean already chosen she didn't need to take the menu back either. "Sooner you decide sooner we can sit down and have breakfast.~"
Once Stellar had chosen, if she did in the end, Yumi would stand up and head over to the counter, ordering the meals and showing the server the table they were sat at. She also asked if any of the spoons were for sale, getting a confused look from the server before returning to the table, where Max continued to suck on his new treat.
The Aron was such a pleasure to pet. Stellar couldn't help but pet it more, rubbing at all the sweet spots, between the crooks, near the shoulders, behind the head, just at the spot right there...She missed the times when Aria was still an Aron, she suppose. It's been a long time, too long.
Echo of a lifetime.
It was a little awkward, but Stellar finally sighed. "...thank you," she blinked, "But I'll treat you next time, deal?" She picked a light meal; she'll go get something else later, but for now, she's not burdening Yumi if she can help it.
As Yumi went off to order, Stellar cooed at the Aron. "Aren't you a sweetheart?" she asked, patting it more, "You'll be a strong, wonderful Pokemon one day." Her hands just kept patting Max, and Stellar gave the Aron an unusually, extremely warm smile. "You know, I have an Aggron, I'm sure you guys will go along wonderfully." To some, it mgiht be weird to talk to an Aron so intimately, but Stellar grew up with one, her very first Pokemon, and still remains her guardian until today.
Beside her, Raven have finished her treat, so she began grooming her sister Leafeon, first washing the Leafeon's face with her paws.

Yumi returned carrying the basic breafast Stellar requested, along with a full breakfast for herself, complete with eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, hard boiled eggs to go with the other more runny ones, even some scrambled eggs, and finally, some hashbrowns, piling her plate high as she sat down, licking her lips. She noticed that Max seemed really happy with Stellar, giggling softly. Max seemed to get on well with just about anyone, but Stellar seemed genuinely nice around him, and he to her.
"You know I was thinking of buying him an everstone, but whenever I brought it up around him he starts getting really defensive, like he really does want to be that big strong Aggron he might one day evolve into." It was upon hearing this that max jumped to his hind legs, stomping lightly on the table and trying to appear intimidating, before letting out another sweet smile, clearly imitating his final evolution.
"Aron!~"
"Yeah you're a real toughie.~" She gave him a final little pet before starting at her breakfast, going at the different assortments of eggs like a ravenous granbull, talking between chews. "So...you have an aggron right? *munch* they hard to take care of? I mean I'm just worried about making space for him in my apartment."
Stellar giggled at the Aron's reaction. In the same time, she thanked Yumi for the breakfast, standing up to help her with the plates for a moment. She cut a little bit of her bacon and gave it to Raven, cutting a little bit more for Spring as well. The two gratefully took eat, chomping it down.
Stellar blushed when she realized she was overheard. "...yeah, I do," she replied, "And nah, they're easy...." her answer had been fast, until she realized it probably only applies to certain people. Not everyone will find Aggron's easy to take care of, she thought, eating her food thoughtfully. "...He can't go into an apartment, if that helps...why don't I show you later? I brought Aria with me."
Of course. Both her Leafeon and Umbreon looked at Stellar. While her Pokemon get switched out quite frequently, there's one permanent member on her team, and that's her Aggron. Everyone in her team knows that.
Stellar just continued nibbling her food, once in a while reaching out to pat Max. "I'll be glad to show you my Aggron, if it's going to help you to take care of this guy." She look up at Yumi. "Who else are there in your team?" A little paranoia, she suppose. After all, to know an opponent's team is the best way to defend yourself, even if Stellar is firmly hoping that this meeting is docile and safe.
Notes
Then maybe they could go to a nice field near Lavendar Town and Stellar let Aria out, in the same time, allowed some of her team for air as well. Then Yumi sees the Larvitar, what do you think?
Post by Yumi Tasukai on Nov 10, 2013 15:13:25 GMT -5
Yumi perked up a little as the offer was given to see Stellar's aggron. Such a strong pokemon would be a great thing to see, especially when you might have one yourself someday. Max seemed to perk just as much, really happy at the idea of seeing what he may one day become. With a gentle nod between them they seemed to agree. "That'd be great Stellar, as far as my team goes....hmmm" She thought for a moment about introducing her members by name, but then an idea came. "Hey, how about we go outside and release our teams? After breakfast of course. That way we can introduce everyone. My team switches a lot these days, but I have like...a larger team. I keep them at the apartment I own rather than a PC. I only have 6 with me of course, but I value the rest just as much."
With the idea that they'd release their teams outside sorted, Yumi quickly finished up her breakfast, downing what remained of her cup of tea and heading over to the counter to pay for everything, max held tightly in a snug huggle around her chest. Once that was done she gestured for Stellar to follow her outside, finding a nice empty space in a nearby park and placing Max down at her feet.
"How about you introduce your squad, and I show mine?"
"That's a sound idea," Stellar nodded, chewing her meal. She's going to be finished soon, so that's just great timing. She doesn't like the six Pokemon per person rule, of course, though Stellar obviously knows why it's placed. It's just...it can feel so vulnerable and unfair to the other Pokemon sometimes, so she made it a point to keep switching. She does use the PC, however, so she can switch as frequently as possible.
Besides, she could use this opportunity to release her current line of Pokemon for fresh air, before changing and preparing for her travels once more. Stellar finished her own food quickly, lowering her plate and allowing Raven and Spring to finish off the rest as treat. She was resigned to allow Yumi, who finished way faster than she did, to pay first, and when she gestured Stellar to follow, the woman was just chewing the final bits of her carrots.
She stand up, Spring and Raven flanking the woman. They reach to a nice park, and Yumi invited her to show her team. Stellar considered her team, if she had any secrets or advantages she could give away, but not with her current set up. It should be fine.
"Well, why not?"
Besides Spring and Raven, who sit proudly with their head up, other 4 Pokemon came to join them. There was a Larvesta, who scuttled over to Stellar and look up at the woman with a thoughtful look. Then, there's her Ampharos, Lily, who squealed happily, bouncing over to the newcomers, blinking at Yumi and Max, giggling lightly before bouncing back to Stellar's side.
One could almost miss the third addition, a Larvitar who walked over to one corner and just proceed to stare at the group.
The last Pokemon to join them had the biggest size difference, and it was jarring. Stellar had enough common sense to released the ball in a big enough space, and when the light comes out, an arm appeared to envelope the woman, cradling her, leaving Stellar giggling in the arms of her Aggron.
"...There's that," the woman couldn't stop giggling. Aria just make her so happy, and it's ridiculous, at times. "...what about your team?"
Her Aggron blinked at Yumi ,noting the Aron by her side. There's something unreadable in the fully evolved Steel Type's eyes, as if she's thinking.

Yumi had to stifle a giggle as the huge, normally intimidating pokemon just scooped up it's trainer like a baby. To the untrained eye you'd think the massive steel type was about to gobble her up, but Yumi was quick to recognise it as a loving sign of affection. While none of her pokemon cradled her persay they all had their own little ways of showing affection themselves.
"Well I gotta say your crew is pretty impressive." She eyed up the pretty diverse squad, giving a solemn nod of approval as Max rushed around the legs of it's titanic future self, chirping happily around it, seemingly really happy with the image of what it might grow up to be one day. Similarly happy, Yumi cupped her hands around her pokeballs. Stellar had already seen two more of her pokemon that she was carrying, but that wasn't really an issue. She was more than happy to display her team, no matter who was viewing them. Afterall they were more than just her pets, they were her family!
"Come on out everyone!"
Flinging the pokeballs into the air, they each snapped open, one after another releasing the red lights within. The pokemon formed one by one as the red streams arched and hit the floor, par one that remained in the air. This was Niko, a murkrow. He was quick to spot the new people before his master. While his instinct was to land on her shoulder, in his loyal position of adviser to his master, he instead flew down before Stellar's pokemon, her eeveelutions first, walking between them and offering his wing like a handshake, the shine of his cross necklace making it's way through his black feathers.
The second arrival was the fighter from last night. Ko-Ken. His strong stature remained as such as he rested beside his master. He had an odd vow of standing by her side no matter what, and while Stellar was protective of her pokemon, Ko-ken was protective of his own family. His arms remained crossed over his chest as he examined each of the other girl's pokemon in turn, though with oddly caring eyes through all the seriousness.
Third, another pokemon from the other night. The once lively slowpoke Edwardo was now a dark slowbro. His eyes remained cold and uncaring, though it was clear he had a sense of respect for his trainer but little else since her evolved. Yumi gave him a worried look and he returned one of little to no emotion. He certainly wasn't the same pokemon as before, no matter how little Stellar had seen of him.
Fourth came Gavin, the hot head of the team. A scrafty that hung a shovel across his shoulders. The natural upturned frown his species carried was an odd smile instead, his head hidden in his hood as he sauntered over, resting over his shovel and offering his hand to the ampharos with a pleasent grin, maybe reaching down to pull his pants up or fix his hood as he dashed around the group, jumping in and out of holes as tunnels between them clearly his favorite way to get around.
Finally came Yumi's fifth, F.I.G, which was a shorthand they made for friendly iron giant. The pokemon was a small golett of unique design. He was certainly made of earth but his body was smooth like metal, her gave off a warm glow and the odd clunk of a gear could be heard if you were quiet enough. Whoever made him in the past was a perfectionist amongst golett makers.
As the pokemon all seemed to have their own way of getting to know the others, Max was the only one to catch the larvitar, dashing over to it in the corner, tilting his head and asking what was wrong.
"Thank you," Stellar sighed at Yumi's compliment. Her hand ruffled through the bag, and up comes another spoon, Aria carried her higher, and the trainer dropped the spoon in those huge, steel jaws. It's not so nice, much to Stellar's displeasure, though Aria didn't say much about it. The trainer is determined to get nicer ones for the Aggron soon enough.
Stellar climbed over to Aria's shoulders, before expertly hanging off the Steel Type by holding to the metal plates, reaching down with a little help and scooping Max up, putting the Aron on the Aggron's shoulder. "What do you think, little guy? Be this strong one day?"
Stellar's team was alert, when Yumi's Pokemon came out. Raven and Spring nuzzled the Murkrow's wings as greeting, while Lily, the Ampharos, exuberantly shook the Murkrow's wing offer.
Valhari, the Larvesta, chirped as greeting, but her attention was really on the Slowbro. Apparently, the Larvesta is one who notices dark moods from people, and the Slowbro certainly caught her attention.
Lily was definitely enjoying herself, shaking hands with any of Yumi's team members who came to offer their greetings, a grin on her lips. Always the cheerful one, no matter the situation.
As Aria slid Max down to the ground, the Aron ran over to the Larvitar, who just gave a grunt of greeting, before proceeding to ignoring everything else. Stellar caught that, of course, and a worried look washed over her face.
"I don't know how to help that one," she commented, as she slide down Aria's arm, and the metal giant easily caught her momentum, allowing Stellar to land on perfect footing. They have a scary level of synchrony, the kind that seems like they can mind read what the other is going to do.
"It's...just grumpy, ever since it joined me. Tried releasing it back, but she just wouldn't...go."
Notes
After your post I thin it's safe to say Yumi can go to the breeder with my Larvitar. Thanks for plotting with me~ <3

Yumi was more than happy to see all of her team getting along so well with Stellar's pokemon. It was kinda odd seeing them be so friendly with another teams pokemon without them being on a mission. She put that down to the fact Stellar seemed to raise her pokemon like she did, each treated like a family member, or at least that seemed true for Aria. The only pokemon who didn't seem the slightest bit happy was Edwardo, who continued to stare into space, oblivious of the larvesta looking at it. Max seemed to be having plenty of fun with Aria before he ran off, Niko and Yumi following him with their eyes, each their guardian in their own way they were wondering what he was up to, spotting the larvitar ahead. Yumi would not believed the green pokemon was Stellar's at first sight.
"Aron?" Her small pokemon tilted it's head at the other, wondering if it was okay only to receive a grunt of "LAR!" in return. This didn't deter him however as he crawled up to her side, laying his head on her side.
"By the looks of things, whether she's grumpy or not, Max seems to like her...then again he likes everyone." She gave a soft chuckle, but it was clear as she looked over Max was being especially nice to this larvitar. "So she doesn't wanna leave but she's grumpy...? Ever thought she might not be getting enough attention?"
Yumi's words gave Sellar some thought. "I dunno," she said honestly, "I gave her as much attention as the rest, but I suppose..." she threw a glance at Max, who seems to be interacting well with the Larvitar. A thought struck the woman, and for a moment, Stellar debated on herself how good of an idea it is.
"...maybe Max can help," Stellar smiled slightly, doubtful, but worth a try. She hates the thought of anyone unhappy under her care, and as of now, she's god to go with a lot of supposedly solutions, unless they are dangerous.
"...I was planning to leave Lavender later, but I can leave tomorrow, instead. Would it be too much to ask if I leave her under your care for a day? Maybe Max can work his charm." She actually asked this, and it felt a little weird. But Max is a friendly Aron and she felt like she can trust him and Yumi enough.
Hanging from Aria's shoulder, she waited for Yumi's answer. It's okay if it's too much trouble, really. She wasn't holding on to any of Aria's horns, or shoulder, but the Aggron's still enough for the woman to keep her balance, or even when Aria shifted slightly, Stellar unconsciously moved her body to balance it out, muscle memory knowing exactly how much shift she must do to compensate and supplement the balance.
On the other hand, Valhari, the Larvesta, have finally crawled over to Edwardo's side, poking him gently.
Notes
We can end this post with Yumi taking the Larvitar back to the hotel, and assuming she returns it to Stella with no luck.
Post by Yumi Tasukai on Nov 14, 2013 8:07:54 GMT -5
At this point it had seemed that Max was indeed trying to work that charm Stellar just mentioned. It was hardly noticeable, what with how he normally acted around anyone, but he seemed to be trying to give her sweet little nuzzles from under his steel mask, no matter how grumpy the larvitar was getting. While it was indeed odd to think about Max cheering the Larvitar up be being so sweet to it, it was a pretty sound plan. "I suppose it could work, and I do love taking care of pokemon. Besides, I'd hate to see someone in my care so grumpy too, so I'd be glad to help." The red head walked over to the Larvitar and her little Max. "You think you might wanna hang with us a while girl?~"
Edwardo gave a cold glance to the small bug type at his side. A pink glow shined in his eyes and without even a tilt of his head, the small bug was pushed a good few centimeters away by Edwardo's psychic powers. He clearly had little care for the bug's attempts at social interaction.
