The tower, a beautiful building with a sort of good purpose for spreading communication far and wide....but Stellar can't help but feel resentful at it, ever since she found out the details of her mission. She had accepted because it was posted up somewhere and she was looking for some money to keep herself fed for a while, and had accepted without much thought.
And here she is, regretting it.
"I feel horrible," Stellar confessed. The shiny ninetales by her side let out a small howl, in reply. Sae is her Pokemon of choice today. Aria would have been wonderful, but Aggrons are not good for in building fights, so there's that. Worse come to worse, she has other Pokemon, of course. The Pokemon Center is everywhere and she frequently switches out Pokemon.
"When we do get rid of them...don't hurt them...please?" Stellar murmured to her Ninetales, and Sae nodded her head. Her other Pokemon surely heard it too; Stellar's team has that tendency of keeping aware of their surroundings.
Stellar look back at the tower, and stared. According to the people that hired her, she will be joined by another two for this mission, before beign led to the haunted grounds.
The woman will wait for the other two to arrive before heading to meet their client inside the tower.
Description: With the construction of the Kanto Radio Tower years before, the Kanto region has been made all that much smaller with the free and easy exchange of ideas and dialogue – as many of Lavender Town’s residents have feared, however, the Pokemon that had been lain to rest inside of Pokemon Tower where the station now stands weren't so happy, and have returned to wreak havoc within the Tower. Unable to deal with the problem themselves, the Radio Tower’s Director has placed an open ad asking for any capable trainers to help rid the Tower of its new – or rather, old – tenants.
Notes:There's 4 floors to the Radio Tower and a mix of Gastly, Haunter and Gengar

Yumi had been hearing news around HQ about maybe using the radio tower in lavender town for something, though whenever she asked, no one would tell her what for. Even Ko-Ken, master of patience and her trusty guardian of a Sawk seemed to be getting tired of being treated like such a kid, so, when a job popped up to clear some old ghost pokemon out of the tower, she jumped at the chance to show her team what she and her pokemon could do, rushing for the tower in her rocket gear so everyone would know just who saved the radio tower.
"I bet once we do this all the other grunts will have to acknowledge us! Don't ya think Ko?" The blue humanoid nodded, fixing his Gi as they walked up to the tower, spotting someone waiting outside. The red head stopped dead in her tracks as the fighter held her back, pointing out the other human who appeared to be here for the job. Yumi wasn't exactly meant to just go around wearing her uniform unless it was an official job, so if someone else was turning up for this she'd have to get rid of all the red "R"s on her costume. Thinking quickly, she flung off her loose over shirt, turning it inside out and slipping it back over her red locks, making sure nothing looked out of the ordinary with it, even ripping the label off so no one noticed it. The red R was neatly hidden on the inside of the clothing, and a quick turn of her hat, and turning up the shade granting part, the R on her hat was hidden too, and she and her Sawk rushed over to the other person, assuming she was there for the job.
"You guys here to clear the gastlies too? Sounded like some easy money and a chance to catch some ghosts, so I though I'd jump in!~"
Lavender Town was just as gloomy as it had been during his last trip to the graveyard town. Though the Pokemon Tower had since been converted into a radio tower, it had lost stone of its dark charm, but the locals held strong to their roots, as creepy as those roots may be. The current mission seemed to be about evicting some troublesome ghost pokemon who had decided to cause mischief in the tower. His choice of team Pokemon was rather simple, as he had only one pokemon that had an advantage over the ghosts. Of course Lily had refused to leave his team, so he brought her along, despite her weakness to ghost attacks. She walked alongside him, arms crossed, her perpetual dull look on her face.
It appeared that one of his partners was already waiting for him - perhaps he needed to stop taking so long with preparations... What impressed him was the silver fox that stood beside her, a shiny Ninetales. Maelys could appreciate the irony though, of both of their Pokemon being shiny. He walked over to where she stood, glancing at her Pokemon with intrigue. Before he could respond, though, the third and final registered member of the team appeared, running towards them.
"You guys here to clear the Gastlies too? Sounded like some easy money and a chance to grab some ghosts, so I thought I'd jump in~"
"It appears that our whole team is here. We should be swift, before the ghost Pokemon cause any damage to the equipment."
In the meantime, Lily was giving the women careful glances. wary of them, despite being there for the same thing.

The red haired girl that joined her first looks nice....until she opened her mouth. At the phrase of easy money and catching the ghosts, Stellar heart skipped a beat, and she could hear her heartbeat in her ears. How could the other girl be so....insensitive? How!?
Sensing the bubbling anger in Stellar's self, Sae reached out and nudged her trainer's hand, and Stellar jolted lightly.
Redredred.
No killing. Perhaps the other girl is way younger, or never thought about the mission by the other angle. Plus, the appearance of the third member as well, together with a shiny Pokemon, keep Stellar grounded, and she forced herself to calm down.
She took a deep breath, and offered them a soft, small smile.
"Let's go in, then," she nodded lightly, and promptly started walking in. Her Ninetales looked back at the two people with an unreadable look, somewhat reading, wary and a little hint of threat. If they ever hurt Stellar, Sae will be there.
They were immediately met with a frantic man.
'They are up in the third floor! PLEASE HURRY!'
Briefly, Stellar wondered, does no one around her right now thinks how insensitive it is to shoo those ghosts out, especially if this had been their home in the first place? She kept calm, though feeling somewhat edgy, and nodded at their frantic client.
She looked at the other two. "...So how do the two of you want to go about with this?" Her eyes were cast downwards, but she did offer slight eye contact, just to keep an eye on their movement. Sae promptly sat beside her, waiting for her trainer's commands.

Yumi quirked an eyebrow in confusion as she watched the trainer she'd ran up to have some sorta terrible reaction to her words. Surely what she said wasn't that bad, afterall a lot of people saw ghost types as vital members of their teams, and as soon as she got one she'd treat it just like she did any member of her team. Take Ko-Ken for example, her loyal, blue humanoid guardian. As much as he seemed like a serious protector, his life back at their place was a pretty good one. Any ghost under the same care would think they actually did die and go to heaven. With the arrival of their last member and a shiny pokemon soon behind to boot, the 3 seemed ready to go in and do the job, Yumi taking the rear to make sure no one could sneak up on her. A favored way to travel when she was in her rocket gear, even with the R on the inside.
It was only moments after entering the radio tower that one of the employees ran into them, bumping past Ko-Ken as he tried to make his escape. For a moment the fighter looked like he was about to lunge for the frightened man, but with a sudden breath, he seemed to control himself, focusing his attention along with Yumi on the other girl they had first met for the job. She was asking how they wanted to approach the job. From what the Sawk had seen, he knew she wanted to deal with the ghost types as humanely as possible. He and Yumi however felt a little different. In his own personal opinion, they should take them out quick. Maybe catch one, if his trainer wished....Yumi kinda had the same plan. Sure they were ghost types, but ghosts took years to form, at least she thought they did seeing as the only ghosts in Unova she remembered were coffagrigus. If they still had "unfinished business" they really had no right to hog wherever they wanted and call it there own. Leaning back, she rested her arms behind her head, looking around as if she didn't care much about what they did, shrugging.
"So long as the jobs done we can do whatever, third floor is kinda our target either way though..."
Entering the tower was simple enough; there were apparently no ghosts on the first floor. Only an employee who fled the building. 'They are up in the third floor! PLEASE HURRY!' He sounded frantic, as if the ghosts had already caused damage to the system. It seemed that they needed to move quickly to prevent further damage.
"...So how do the two of you want to go about with this?"
"So long as the jobs done we can do whatever, third floor is kinda our target either way though..."
"Routing them would be the logical approach. Defeat enough of them to scare the rest away."
Even still, he had the intention of capturing one of those ghost Pokemon, so he'd have to do that during the mission before the rest fled. Lily continued watching the other two trainers, picking up on the negative emotions coming from the Ninetales and her owner. She subtly glanced over at the Ninetales, shooting the fox a cautious look. "I sense something dark stirring in your trainers mind..." With a glance at the other trainers, Maelys made his way to the stairs.

"...routing them it is, then," Stellar nodded. The second sentence by the second trainer is putting him on her good side, for he sounds like he will not unnecessarily finish of the ghosts, just shoo them away. That, to Stellar, is more respectful to the ghosts. After all, to a person wh have lost to many of her friends to the grave, being respectful to the ghosts in in her nature.
"Sae chose to help me for this today," Stellar said softly, "What are the Pokemon of your choices?" As soon as they make their choice, maybe they could work out a quick plan and go up to the third floor and finish things off. She is still going to only scare them off, made sure they stay away because this place will never accept them, even if they are the first to be here. Stellar's feeling more and more resentful by the minute about this mission, and wished that she had read carefully, instead of choosing to take the vague mission post for money, even if she desperately needs the money.
Sae tilted her head to her fellow shiny Pokemon. "...It's probably her regret," the Ninetales replied carefully, "Regret and a lot of other things." With that, she flicked her ears and followed Stellar, who started to make her way to the stairs like Mae.

Upon hearing the other trainer ask who everyone was picking, Ko-Ken wanted to step forward, even lifting his hand as if to raise it to volunteer, but feeling a hand grasp his shoulder and the giggle behind him, he retracted his arm, folding them again across his chest and shaking his head, feeling just a little stupid.
"Sawk sa Ka." "I know bud, it's not like I don't want you there but fighting and ghost types? Never a good mix." She held up a separate pokeball, containing her slowpoke edwardo. "He should be better for this one." The sawk nodded, looking to his trainer with a questioning look. "Sawk saw sa?" Yumi gave a soft giggle and rubbed his bald noggin, loving how cute he was when he got overprotective. "Yes you can stay out and keep an eye on me.~" "Sawk!~"
The trainer and her guardian nodding at eachother one last time, Yumi flung her pokeball into the air, the red energy arching towards the ground as it flooded out of it's container, forming the slowpoke Edwardo, who swiftly jumped to his hind legs, using his tail as a balance to keep his species somewhat chubby build in balance, looking oddly awake and alert compared to the rest of his species. With a proud pump of his fist, he declared his own participation in the mission.
"This is Edwardo. He only knows psychic when it comes to offense, but he knows how to use disable. Maybe I could keep him in the back, tossing some gastlies about and disabling any attacks they might have. Sound good?"
Mae nodded to the woman as they ascended the steps to the second floor. The floor seemed to give off a chilled aire, even though it was no longer a graveyard. Perhaps the spirits had stayed behind after all - not the ghost Pokemon, but the departed spirits themselves. That possibility put Mae on edge. Judging by the research on that vague topic, true ghosts could not be harmed by Pokemon attack, which meant that if they were attacked by a real ghost, they would have no means of combating it.
"Sae chose to help me for this today, what are the Pokemon of your choices?""
He gave a glance to Stellar's Ninetales, thinking back on how his own team was chosen. It really wasn't much of a decision, he chose a number of Pokemon for his team, except Lily had refused to stay behind. In a way, Lily had also chosen to help him. "My original choices had not included Lily, my Kirlia, because of her types weakness to ghost Pokemon, but her insistence to come along succeeded in changing my mind..." Mae brought his arms up to hold them over his chest, his expression changed to one of contemplation, rather than seriousness. "When my sister gave me Lily, she told me to try and trust my Pokemon's strength, no matter their type..."
He turned his head towards Yumi as she spoke up. "He should be better for this one." Mae watched as the girl released her Slowpoke, who surprisingly stood up on it's hind legs. Odd... I didn't know a Slowpoke could stand like that... Perhaps it's close to evolution..."This is Edwardo. He only knows psychic when it comes to offense, but he knows how to use disable. Maybe I could keep him in the back, tossing some gastlies about and disabling any attacks they might have. Sound good?"
Slowpoke was anther Psychic type, weak to ghost attacks, but Disable should keep him from taking a good amount of hits. "If that is your choice, I will not argue it." It was a short walk to the next set of stairs that would bring them to the designated floor where the ghost Pokemon were sighted. Once they ascended those steps, who knows how many enemies they would encounter...

Looks like they are set to go. Stellar thought it wa odd for the rude girl to use a Slowpoke, but maybe she doesn't have any other Pokemon in her team, or they are the same type. Either way, she sees no offense in picking a Pokemon with weak typing to their current opponent, only very foolish, but then, this is suppose to be a simple mission.
Besides, the third trainer's right, trusting a Pokemon's strength is the way to go. Stellar have gave her life to her Pokemon's hands, and they have pulled miracles. They have further strength than only their types. Thus, she won't argue with any of their choices, since they seem to respect hers. That much is enough.
The ascended to the intended floor, at last. The chill that accompanies ghosts are here in full force, now, and Sae stepped forward, the Ninetales's ears perked and ready. At last, they can get to the main job.

Both of her companions for the mission seemed to eye the rocket grunt oddly as she summoned forth her Slowpoke Edwardo. They all seemed to see the obvious "weak to ghost types" thing, but they clearly hadn't heard her. He would stay at the back, disabling attacks so the others could do their work, that, and the gastly's were part poison type, and they were the only pokemon recorded to be here. A psychic type could handle them with ease, and probably do it efficiently. It was certainly more effective than her fighting or water or electric type pokemon that she kept in her pocket. She rolled her eyes, she seemed to have been singled out by the others already, be it as a nuisance, or rude. They had a job to do, if little miss princess found it so "rude" to wanna get it done, then why on earth was she still here? She could go pick up a job as a part time waiter if she needed the money.
Nevertheless, the group moved on up the stairs, the red head finding Edwardo and Ko-Ken followed her pretty closely at the back of the group, each ready to do their own little job for the day. The halls ahead on the 3rd floor were crawling with a ghostly, or rather, gastly mist. The purple, poisonous fog clinging to the floor as the pokemon hovered around, phasing through walls. Yumi looked ahead, carefully planning Edwardo's move choice. For now, it seemed they whent unnoticed by the ghosts, or at least, she hoped they were...
Wordlessly the trio ascended the next flight of stairs, the pressure of ethereal forces definitely present and increasing. There would be no back down once they set foot on the third floor, their goal was to drive away the ghosts. In addition to the feel of the air, the ghostly fog that shifted about the floor immediately turned Mae's expression serious. This was not the time for mistakes, he had to be ready, and Lily sensed the change, evident by her startled jump and subsequent shift in expression as well. In addition to that, he pulled out another pokeball, his cunning trickster Ini, a Sableye. Ini appeared before Mae, giving a quick glance about before chortling.
"Let's go. Archer formation." With that, Maelys took off in a long paced stride, taking care not to make much noise as he headed towards the targeted Gastly. Ini and Lily followed closely behind, diagonal to their trainer, creating an arrowhead shape in their placement. With a simple point from Maelys, Lily and Ini launched their attacks simultaneously, the Kirlia unleashing a psychic wave of energy at the Gastly while the Sableye sank down into the floor, a long shadow spreading out towards the Gastly only for the Shadow Sneak to explode upwards behind the Gastly, causing it to look the other way while it was blasted by Lily's Psychic. As Ini returned out of the floor, the Gastly was already fleeing from two powerful supereffective attacks. Unfortunately, the yelping of the fleeing Gastly sent a warning to the remaining ghosts that there were intruders, making it more tricky to move undetected.
Maelys and his Pokemon moved further in, suddenly stopping at the sight of one of the stronger foes, a Haunter. Evidently she was watching the other direction for intruders, but one could never be too careful with ghost Pokemon...

The male trainer is good, Stellar admit. With those attacks he drove one away quickly, and with this she hoped that they could get this job done faster. Her feelings keep clashing with herself; she's desperate for the money, yes, and she have done worse things for money before, but now she's in a situation where could make a choice, and she doesn't like her own choice. She always self doubts, which is a terrible habit, and this is one of those times.
"Niiine!"
Stellar snapped out of it, her mind suddenly going blank. Maybe it's the years honed in battle, maybe it's those years to survive, but when there's an enemy and there's a battle and there are things attacking, her mind goes blank, so she could formulate strategies in a fight.
"Sae, do your best," she nodded, and the Ninetales shot off like a bullet. The fire type will know what to do, it's only Stellar's job to be her second pair of eyes. By now, there are other Ghastlies, five of them, coming down to try and attack the intruders. A Hunter stayed at the back, looking only to join in if those 5 Ghastlies are defeated.
And Sae was a fiery fury indeed.
Her nine tails were all lit up with soft, ghost flames (Will-O-Wisp) and she dashed through the incoming Ghastlies, brushing her tail against most of them. Loud howls that sounded across the floor tells that some are burned, as Sae wanted, and the Ninetales continued her attack by hitting the nearest Ghastly with Hex.
Stellar stared at the battlefield. One Haunter, 5 Ghastlies, now 4, since Sae took down one. She had a feeling that this wasn't the whole lot of them, since Ghost types are sneaky that way. She was right, though she should have expected it as another Haunter appeared above, aiming for Stellar....
OOC :: Apologies for the late reply! It's been hectic, the last two days.
Summary :: Saedea got one Ghastly defeated and set a few burned. Currently visible on the field are 1 Haunter and all the Ghastlies. Another Haunter, the second one, is aiming for Stellar from the top, and she's a little too distracted to notice. Who wants to be a hero?

Yumi had been busy, staying at the back of the group like she said. As each ghastly came close, attempting to lick or confuse, or perhaps even blast one of her partners with a ball of ghostly energy, Edwardo would be right on it. With a glare at each ghost type and a snap of his tiny claws, the ghastlies and haunters would freeze up, unable to commit to the moves they had started. Yumi grinned and chuckled as they fell to the floor, temporarily immobile thanks to her little pink psychic type, of course always on the ball.
"Alright Edwardo, she burned them, psychic the lot!" Thrusting her arm out to point at the minor horde of ghastly that Stellar had placed the curse of the will-o-wisp upon, Edwardo grinned softly, resting his hands above his forehead in some form of pose supposed to channel his powers. A faint pink aura began to surround him as his psychic energies charged through his body, his arms flinging out to the sides once he felt ready to perform his attack. Locking eyes with each of the burned ghastly, he gave a quiet chuckle, throwing his hands into the air. Each of the ghost types looked to him confused, some wincing at their burns, but all the same, they began to laugh at the psychic who thought it was a good idea to enter there home.
That was, until they hit the roof.
With his psychic powers suddenly taking effect, each ghastly had been enveloped by his pink glow, all following the flow of his arms and wacking back and forth against the surfaces, crashing against the roof and smashing into the desks around the radio tower, the slowpoke smashing them against anything he could with reckless abandon.
"Hey, nice one Ed!" Yumi turned to her pokemon to congratulate him for his efforts, before returning her gaze to the trainer at the lead, Stellar, catching the haunter swooping down on her. "H-Hey! Lookout!" Without thought Yumi simply dived for the girl, wrapping her arms around her and forcing her out from under the haunter's shadow punch, the ghost type growling at Yumi with vicious fangs and a flash of his grotesque tongue for making him miss. Yumi still had Stellar in her arms of course and proceeded to put her down. "S-sorry about that, you okay?"
Edwardo, hardly paying attention to the girl who had earlier seemed to infer he was a stupid choice, kept his eyes on the ghastlies he had lost control of in the ruckus. The majority fainted, or groaned at the impacts to their faces and...well that was really all they had at this evolution. Edwardo did however notice a lone ghastly, flying away at the back and trying to escape before he pulled it back for another thrashing. Having none of this, he calmly walked past the angry haunter, yawning softly as his own hind legs began to ache at this point. Reaching into his master's pocket, he brought out a pokeball, and, with a little help from psychic, flung it at the back of the ghastly that was trying to run, knocking it off it's flight cause before enveloping it in the red light, Yumi oblivious to her possible capture as she made sure Stellar was okay from being man handled.
Summary: Edwardo finished 3 ghastlies and caught a male for yumi. Yumi pushed Stellar from under the haunter. He's ticked.
