RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.
You drive for a ways, leaving the city behind you, and you feel certain you would have missed the gravel road entirely had it not been for the small, white-washed sign. It is simply the business's name, same as it was printed on the flyer, and an arrow pointing down the speckled pea gravel driveway, winding through the tall grass and disappearing into the trees.
You follow the road. It goes downhill a ways, before beginning a slow incline through the woodland, curving here and there but staying smooth, and beams of light fall through the canopy and make the white stones in the gravel gleam. When the clearing comes, it's almost blinding for a moment. Then you are treated to a view of grassy, rolling hills, encircled by trees and topped with blue sky. The road leads up to a small cottage, white-washed and quaint, if a bit rundown. And beyond that, half-hidden behind another slope, is a huge white barn.
Inside the cottage the front great room has been partially curtained off, and you find yourself in an enclosed seating area, with a small desk. The faint scent of something baking is in the air as you cross the room and note a small silver bell nestled next to a desk lamp and a cup of pens. Somewhere in the cottage, there's a rustling and the clink of silverware, and glancing briefly at the series of photos lining the walls - among them shots of a group of policemen and women in full dress uniform, a rowdy bunch of muddied backyard football players, and a pretty, middle-aged woman in front of a bakery-boutique - you reach out and ring the bell.

Puddles is open for your breeding needs. Terms are decided on a case-by-case basis.
Pokemon Adoption - Starting at •20
At any time, Piper may have a number of Pokemon roaming in the fields that she has rescued and put up for adoption. Common Pokemon having a base adoption fee of •20, though that may go higher or lower depending on the Pokemon. Rare Pokemon have a base fee of •50. Prices are typically negotiable.
BOLOs - Free, Pokemon Starting at •20
Piper is also willing to keep on an eye out for a specific Pokemon you would like caught for you. Prices and conditions for the Pokemon are the same as for adoption. Limit 5 BOLOs at a time per character - if another character already has a BOLO up for the Pokemon you want, Piper can add your name to it so you'll have second dibs.
Common Catch Mission - Starting at •20, Pokemon Starting at •20
In which Piper will scour the ends of the earth to catch the Pokemon you're looking for. Unlike BOLOs, instead of just capturing the Pokemon if she happens to come across it, she will treat this as an "Express" service and go directly to where the Pokemon is likely to be found, and keep looking there until she catches it. Base rate for CCM is •20. If she finds the Pokemon in the first catch thread, the price will drop to •10. If the search goes to a fourth catch thread, the price goes up to •30, but won't go any higher. She will only accept 1 CCM per month. Prices and conditions for the Pokemon are the same as for adoption, and PLEASE be ready to wait.
Breeding Rental - •10
Piper's PERSONAL POKEMON are available to be rented for breeding purposes. Fee is waived if you give her an egg. Piper will also accept 2 Pokeballs as payment for this service.

General Terms
On a regular week, Piper will do up to 2 catch threads. If she has a CCM going, at least one thread will be for the mission, and the other will be just general catching.
Piper will usually do general catch threads where BOLO Pokemon might be. The location and the terrain of her catch threads will be announced in advance in the Where In the World is Piper O'Leary section - so post your BOLOs if you want anything out of there.
After 25 adoptions, as tracked in the meter above, Piper will consider opening breeding services.
It wasn't his purpose for heading out at the moment, but he figured he would step in to peruse the little shopkeepers selection. She probably needed the money, and he still wanted to build up his team. Win-win, right? Besides, with Azria resting back at the ranch with her egg, he was short one crime fighter, and though after long he would be up one extra, it didn't hurt to be prepared. It appeared more house than shop as he walked up to the desk inside the curtained area, noting the array of pictures on the wall, possibly family members.
Reaching the desk, he sniffed the air, catching a whiff of something oh so familiar to him - flames. Before he could react, however, he realized that another smell accompanied it... the smell of something baking. It caused his stomach to grumble, testament to the fact that he hadn't eaten in some time, but he ignored it and tapped the bell button.

Piper was just sliding another batch of cookies off the pan and onto a ceramic plate when she heard the business bell ring. Placing the pan back on top of the stove, she removed her oven mitts and picked up the plate, shuffling out of the kitchen and down the hallway.
She stopped at the end and peered around the wall, craning her neck up at the visitor. Piper nodded slightly. A little over a week earlier a ranger had called asking about a Numel. This person's face seemed to match the voice. Quietly she walked over to the desk, put down the plate of cookies and pushed them toward him, and then climbed up onto the barstool that served as her desk chair.
"Good morning, welcome to The Menagerie. Please have a cookie . . . You're here for your Numel, aren't you?"

"Excuse me, Miss Piper, but after reading your business card, I would like to take use of your services as proxy for someone else. This may be a regular business deal, but for now, I would like you to try to find a Magnemite or Bronzor. They both can be found in Sinnoh, correct?"

". . . Hello Vesta. OK . . . I'll be on the lookout for both of them . . .
I might have a Magnemite, actually . . . I'm not sure. I'll check again tomorrow."
A dashing young blonde manages to finally ring the bell after much deliberation. It was a drive and walk out here, for sure, but hey, he was here for a good cause. Felix adjusted his jacket and waited for a human.
"Hey, you guys take donations, right? Because a client paid me in a couple of Pokeballs and I was in the area, and I heard you were always looking for me..."
