EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

"What a fascinating speciemen."
Sitting on a rock inside the caves, his cloak falling around him, Mao had pulled out what looked like a portable microscope, place to his eye and looking at the small gem he held between his fingers. He found it hard to believe that such a small "marble" could hold so much potential power, it was almost unfathomable. If not for seeing people use it themselves in public tournaments or in street battles, he'd have believed the thing to be a myth. Then again, the truth behind the myths was what he loved to dabble in.
"It is absolutely extroardinary wouldn't you say Rend?" Lowering the object from his eye, he simple gazed at it, holding the small marble between his finger and thumb, wondering what it was truly capable of. "To think, simply giving a pokemon this, and activating the corresponding "keystone", will allow it to achieve a whole new state of evoution...it is almost unbelievable..."

Giving a tired yawn, down in one of the other tunnels, Heracles, Mao's Ursaring that he had trained a long time ago, flopped down to the floor of the cave, his tongue hanging out as he looked tiredly into the path ahead. He was used to hibernating as a wild pokemon still, and this cold weather, especially in the cave, was reminding him just how much he loved those big long naps in the winter, even if they were somewhat hard to wake up from. Rubbing his eyes, he was tempted to fall asleep, a soft glint in the distance catching his eye.
He wanted to reach out for it, but he knew he wouldn't make it. On a full stomache and in the middle of winter, the urge to sleep was too strong, his eyelids began to droop, and soon, he was falling into the wonderful land of sleep.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found a RARE BONE! A bone that is extremely valuable for Pokémon archeology. It can be sold for a high price to shops.

"Rend?"
Mao looked over to the dual blades, the red swords out of their sheath and looking back at him, wondering why there were called. "Have you seen Heracles while you've been searching? He usually woulda sniffed us out and came over for a check up by now." The dual blades shook their blades once more, imitating a shake of the head, only leading Mao to become somewhat worried what his Ursaring was up to. "I suppose we should probably check up on him..." With a sigh, he held out one of his hands, one of Rend's blades flying into his hand as he began to move out, the sheath and the spare bladed resting on his back as he began walking.
"I swear, if that honey loving bear has put himself in another food coma, I am putting him on cold turkey, quite literally as the case may be."
