Wonder Bird was down for now, but Regina was still attacking. It was then that Josh heard Angel mention that Wonder Bird shouldn't fight anymore, and that meant, in her words, that she lost. Still, Josh had the two Dragon Pulses to deal with. "Alright, Gawain! Use Twister!" Josh would call. "Dra.... TIIINIII!" Gawain let out as he loosed a tornado toward the two Dragon Pulse attacks. "Inferno, use Flamethrower on the Tornado to make it strong enough to handle both attacks!" He would call. "GRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!" Inferno would let out as he loosed a heavy dose of flamethrower, coating the twister in flames. It would hold out against both Dragon Pulses, and would dissipate on the second one. "Alright, great job you two" He said with a smile. "You guys did great, return" He said as he returned Gawain to his Pokeball. As he tried to return Inferno though, he shook his head and would make his way to Angel, shooting her a grin.

Josh laughed a bit as he walked over and leaned against Inferno. "I think he's taken a liking to you. Well, I can see why, you loved him as a little Cyndaquil" He cracked with a grin. He would pat Angel on the head like a little sister receiving praise as he would sit on his knees to bring the 6'2 male eye level with Angel. "Don't take it as a loss" he advised with a small smile. "Take it as a learning experience. You did incredibly well for someone your age. Colour me impressed" he said with a grin. "You've obviously trained your Pokemon incredibly well. No matter what profession you pick out for yourself, I think you'll succeed, personally. And I know your Pokemon will support you just like I do" he said.

"And trust me... I'm not cherrying you up" he said as he would look over at Regina and Wonder Bird as he would toss two berries to the both of them. One was to cure Wonder Bird's Paralysis, and the other to cure Regina's Burn. He would point to Regina. "That. Your Deino. THAT is proof of what you're capable of. Being able to train and battle with a dragon like that... Hell, being able to CATCH a dragon like that shows your prowess" he said with a smirk. "Seriously, I'm actually envious that you managed to catch one. I've taken several trips to the Safari Zone and never can even find one. And I've got a nice collection of trained dragons too" he said as he would get up. "When you're ready, we'll head back to base to have something to eat and drink. After that.... I'd like to bring you along with me on some training" he said with a smile back at her as he started walking. "I've gotten to see once again what you're able to do, I've gotten to see the immense talent you have... And now I wanna help you hone it further. So when you're old enough to be a Trainer, or whatever you wanna do... You'll be more then ready"

Angel never disliked giving Inferno a big smile! "Inferno was amazing! I thought it was so cool the way you practically flew through the air!" Her eyes grew wide and curious after all the nice things that Mr. Josh was doing and saying! She gave him a smile too, because he was saying such things to her. It was kind of embarrassing to get compliments like that! She couldn't believe that Mister Josh thought she had potential! "Um.." she started, looking a bit nervous. "Well.. about that." she made a nervous sort of giggle. Her face had a light tint of red. She kicked the ground a little and her eyelashes fluttered just a bit. Her pose was, her arms placed in front of her and her hands locked was bashful and girlish. "Mr. Josh.. I well.. kinda adopted Regina here." she said. "I didn't catch her." And it was true. Angel Dalton had simply answered a want ad about a few Pokemon that needed adoption. The fact that a Deino was among them was a coincidence, but Angel had a fondness for Dragon type Pokemon. "So I'm not really all that good. I've never won a battle." she said. It was true too. She had never won a single battle. "So like.." another stutter as she looked a little nervous. "You shouldn't get the wrong idea and all. I'm not so good at this stuff and.." she paused for a moment. She looked a bit more sad at the moment. "I got in to trouble once, and I let my Pokemon down too. I'm really not good at all." Despite Mr. Josh's comments she really hadn't been feeling very confident. She really didn't see what she did right.. like at all.

Josh chuckled a bit and patted Inferno's head. "Yeah, he's come a long way since he was a Cyndaquil. You remember when we met and after he evolved, I told you about his dream?" He asked her. "Inferno's dream was to become a Typhlosion, and be just like his older brother and his mother. Now he's realized that, and he's just as strong as they are" He said with a small smile. "Funny story actually. Have you met Izumi's two Typhlosions? Mama Kaji and the other one? Inferno is Kaji's other son. She gave him to me as a gift a little while after we met. I make sure he comes to visit his family every once in awhile" he added with a small smile.

He smirked when she told the story about Deino. "Well, at least you're honest" he said. "But that discounts nothing from you, Angel. You're still able to train a dragon type at your age. That's amazing" he said with a laugh. "Never sell yourself short. You're doing incredibly well for someone so young, and you're only going to get better" he complimented. "And it's only going to be a matter of time before Regina evolves into Zweillous... And then a big old Hydrogion! You'll have quite a time handling that, I'm sure" he said with a small smile.

He sighed when she continued to doubt herself, talk about the battles she had lost. "I've... Never officially won a full on Pokemon Battle either" he said with a small smile. "I usually do sparring sessions that are cut off mid-way, like our two battles were. I've never lost, but I've never won either. Heck... Where I came from, there weren't even Pokemon Battles!" He admitted with a chuckle. A chuckle hiding the real truth behind those words, and his sadness in remembering it behind it... But he would remain upbeat for Angel. "Never take a loss as a failure. It's a learning experience for someone like you, at your age. You're getting the chance to learn and learn from your mistakes and improve early on. That's a gift that a lot of people don't get. I certainly didn't" He said with a grin. "Now, how about some food back at base? After that, we'll see how you handle taking on some wild Pokemon. No worries, I'll be covering you of course" he promised, holding out a hand to her.

Angel always gave him her full attention when she talked, craning her little head up to meet his eyes and nodding along with the things he was saying. Even if Mr. Josh had congratulated her for being honest, it still surely felt like admitting she wasn't as cool as he was saying she was before. She still felt a bit gloomy, especially because she kinda thought that Regina was a bit of a fluke. She had another dragon (although he wasn't quite a dragon in full) called B.T. and he didn't listen to her at all. That sort of feeling only got worse when said stuff about learning experiences. She knew she was supposed to be learning, but she didn't quite actually feel like she was. The nice lady.. Izumi from the tournament had told her that at her age she would get stronger too. Did that mean she wasn't ever going to win a battle until she was a adult? That didn't seem fair.. Wasn't there a Gym Leader her age back at home in Unova? How did she get so good? Angel Dalton knew she had to practice more. She.. had thought she might talk to Mr. Josh more about B.T. possibly, but decided that there was probably a better time. She had gotten to the part where he suggested things like food and possibly some battling wild Pokemon! She could at least win battles against those! She knew she could! "Yes, yes! Let's do that!" she was a bit excited at the idea. Such a time was surely a time she could look super good at this kind of thing in front of Josh. It was very much quite possibly just the pick-up she needed. Angel really was the kind of girl who just needed to be nudged along a more positive mindset to get herself chipper and peppy, and the girl would be a bundle of bounces for the rest of their visit.
