some coincidences are deliberate

It was as if he hadn’t heard her, even with all the comments that she was itching to toss his way—but Andrea chose to instead enjoy the scene—before she heard him speak up once more, advising her that there was an unused guest room somewhere within the apartment itself. “Thanks for letting me know. Let me just move my things there first…” she muttered, letting Claire ride in her arms as she went to the living room in order to be able to move her travelling stroller bag to the aforementioned unmarked doorway near the bathroom. Plus it’s handy for me to jump in and just do my rituals and stuff… she thought to herself as she then gently pushed against the door and watched it swing open silently. After fumbling around in the darkness for the light switch, she found it, and then flicked it on; revealing a simply-decorated room with a bed in one corner; along with a dresser and a desk set-up that had a single lamp perched atop it.
She then looked down and scouted near the floor—and quickly found some power outlets, before saying a silent “thank you” for the little convenience. She then wheeled in her luggage, before letting Claire hop off her arm and landed on the bed. “Stay here, I’ll be back shortly,” she said to the Gothita as she then kicked off her boots and then exited the room in her socks—she didn’t know where the guest pair of slippers were kept—she’d deal with it later. As she returned to the dining area—he was still there, now seemingly surrounded with so many of the cute, pink-shaded ‘mons—the blue mouse waving at her from his grip upon seeing her return. “Heh. Looks like you’re not completely lost yet, after all,” she remarked after waving at the cute little Marill (not that she knew what it was yet). “I didn’t know that you’re quite the caring individual…” she trailed off in a teasing tone, before grabbing her bag of chips and stuffing another handful into her mouth, still observing the scene.
