As the new month rolled around, Amber put some time out of her day to head back to the badlands. Fang was always excited to come back to the badlands, he put his paws and nose to good use. Her other Pokemon weren't as excited, except maybe the few ground types Amber had. Mystic always seemed right at home in the sand and dirt, while Fang simply liked getting his paws and coat messy. Then again, you couldn't really tell with him. The sand and dirt just mixed in with his golden fur.

Today, she came with Fang and Mystic. Two Pokemon that were pretty used to the routine by now. She held the shovel in her hand and stuck it in the ground as she scanned the area for a good place to start digging. It only took them a few steps, but Amber decided to settle down ten feet away from the exit. "Alright guys, let's get to it!" Fang and Mystic both gave a entergetic cry and jumped into the sand. Maybe today was their day to find something of interst.

Fang pulled his head back as his paws hit something in the sand. His eyes grew curious at the rock in front of him. He poked at it with his paw and sniffed the rock. Mystic popped up beside him and blinked her beady eyes at the rainbow colored rock. Fang picked it up in his mouth and moved towards Amber, Mystic close behind. He made a muffled noise that caught the girl's attention and she turned back to him. "What is it? Oh, hey!" Her eyes widened and she took the rock from Fang's mouth, wiping off the drool and slobber as she held it in the sun. It reflected the same rainbow color as the one in her bracelet. "A Mega Stone! Great job, Fang!" She said. Fang barked happily, while Mystic simply tilted her head. The Trapinch appeared confuse and unsure of what was going on. Or why her Trainer was so happy about finding a rock. But she just shrugged it off and guessed that one man's trash was another girl's treasure.
