Upon mysteriously discovering that the breeder he had recently done business with had obtained an Oshawott, an interesting water type, Mae would pull out a book on breeding and egg types before locating what he needed. His Piloswine was of the same egg group and was the opposite gender, meaning that there would be a possibility of young Kuto breeding the two. He typed up a text and once more sent a request to the breeder.

This is Maelys again. I have heard that you obtained an Oshawott, and am wondering if you would be willing to breed it with my Piloswine. I am willing to front the rare tax, of course.

Kuto had another tiring day of background checks on her recent clients. She'd been planning for a while to train Glint to make shorthand notes of the important stuff for her...honestly she was sure he could probably do it anyway, he'd proven he could read notes she left behind for him when she left at night. Perhaps she just needed an excuse not to bother him with it. Afterall, he already worked really hard to keep her happy.

"Oh? Ah, it seems my emails have been delayed. What have I missed..." Resting on her desktop a quick skim of the email gave Kuto all she needed to know. "Maelys again...well I was looking for a breeding partner for her. This might work well...." She soon worked out a reply.

Maelys. For the next two weeks my schedule allows me to be in the ranch between the hours of five and six in the afternoon. Please leave your pilowswine in one of the lockboxes provided behind the counter, and return to the store after 3 days, and at your next convenience to recieve any eggs.

After dropping Frost off at the ranch, Mae soon made plans to return once the eggs were available. The time came to return to Kuto's ranch, and he stepped into the shop, reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a number of dots and placed them onto the counter. "45 dots, as posted, for the Oshawott egg."

Kuto looked over to Mae from her counter. The egg she had requested had been resting on the counter beside her, locked up in one of her many incubators. Once the money had been paid, she took the incubator off the table, handing it to the sableye out of sight. "Do enjoy the egg, it was a pleasure doing business."

The small ghost type walked around the counter, lifting the egg up for Mae to take.

Breeders were becoming quite a useful resource, but that wasn't any surprise to her, considering the fact that her very first Pokémon, one that was still with her today, was the result of a breeding. While she was here on Orre to focus on her team and her abilities, when she had some free time she did occasionally look over breeder lists and Pokémon offers by trainers to see if any of it would be useful to Steinhart or any of its members. So far she has aided greatly - at least, she hoped so - so she had no immediately plans to change this behavior.

This was also true as she came across a breeder offering a Sableye egg. While she had no personal need for one, another Steinhart member would likely make good use of the small Ghost/Dark Pokémon. She pulled out her phone, mildly bothered that the breeder was away, and sent an email:

"I will take that Sableye egg you have offered."

He would take the egg from the Sableye, smiling for once. An egg from an interesting Pokemon, especially one who could easily be his primary Water type, it was something to smile about. Placing the egg in his empty satchel, he turned to Kuto. "The pleasure is mine. Your business is greatly appreciated." With that, he would walk back out, the blue/brown egg in tow.

Kuto recieved an email to take that Sableye egg she had on stand off her hands. She knew Glint was not the kind for children, nor Clara, and so she gladly accepted the offer, typing up a reply.

"Return to the ranch next wednesday between 7AM and 5PM. Bring payement of 20 pokedots and we shall complete the transaction."

Selling sableye egg for 20 dots.

"Greetings. My name is Doctor Vincent G. Pendragon. I borrowing the joltik "Tazer" of a Mr.Thomas Thaddeus (with his agreement) to breed with the Larvesta of a Ms. Yumi Tasukai. While the agreement is currently pending, I am officially stating my intention to negotiate pricing and rare tax."

Somehow, using her "connections", Kuto had found a way to send the person who left the letter at her ranch an email, despite never knowing his email adress.

"I have connections with miss tasukai. The breeding shall be fine. Depending on the results of the breeding, and the fact your using a pokemon of one of my associates, the cost should be 30 pokedots. I hope this is reasonable, but please send a reply if you wish to negotiate."
