This was her first successful battle where she actually made the opposing pokemon faint, which brought Quinn a lot of joy although she still felt something was missing. It was pretty simple what it was too, she hadn't done all the heavy lifting, heck in fact she did very little of the heavy lifting as Stellar helped her for most of this battle and she was only fortunate enough to throw a pokeball in the end to signal the capture. She sighed as she returned her pokemon and then went to pick up the Drifloon, before she again brought everyone to heal in the pokemon center and then left the next day, not saying goodbye to Stellar yet. In the back of her mind she wanted to leave the girl there as she felt a bit helpless when Stellar was winning all of her battles for her, helping with both of her captures, but she was also learning so much from the girl that she felt guilty. She actually considered the person a friend. She looked back for a second and then became resolute, "time to start my own journey! Be my own leader." She said, although she did enjoy taking a back seat and watching others do the heavy lifting.
She took a few steps but then turned back and decided to look and see if Stellar had woken up and followed her. She was starting to regret her choice already, feeling a void and emptiness after she left the trainer like that. They had gone through so much already, and she felt guilty just leaving.
[ooc]:
@stellar - So Quinn left you behind but definitely would love for you to tag along for the final spawn (before we make our own thread). If you want I'd love for you to still post, or we can just wait till the new thread. Quinn does feel guilty here as she wants to pick her own battles but she also loves your support.
@murdoc - Caught the Drifloon so whenever you want to make the exchange, you can jump into my thread and we can do it there.

A human teacher was ideal, but if that wasn't exactly possible... Quinn had a pokemon that was more than willing to teach her how to be the best she can possibly be. Or rather, a pokemon that would teach hers how to be the best they could be. She walked out of the pokemon center and immediately spotted an Elekid who had been trying out all of his techniques.
First, he created a small spark from his plugs and shot it at a nearby wall to see how much damage it did... Not so much as it could not break the wall, only leaving a small crack. Next, he tried a much bigger spark that he evoked from his body. This one created a much larger boom and the entire house that he attacked incinerated, instead of just the wall. Next, he created a powerful protective purple shield near the rubbish to make a solidified wall and see how strong it would end up holding. Lastly, turned himself into a ball and shot forth, to create a speedy whirlwind that struck the ashy wall, it bounced back at first to bring some damage to him, but it still dissipated and he was happy with all four of his techniques. He then spotted Quinn looking at him and quickly walked forth to her, causing panic in the eyes of the civilian as she did not know how she would compete with such a pokemon. He just seemed so powerful, so well kept, so put together.
But he did something odd, he clicked on the pokeballs in her pouch and released all three of her captures, first came the Houndour Roon who saw the large pokemon and gave a frantic but silent yip. It was more the idea behind it which the Elekid understood but just turned his attention to the next one. This one was the Pawniard, Babe, who held up his arms in anticipation in case he needed to battle, but his body was shivering all over and he could not control himself either. He didn't want to battle the pokemon who looked so confident in its own ability but he'd do it if he had to. Even though, he was sure he'd lose. Last was the Abra, Chief, who immediately seeing the Elekid ran up to hug the pokemon. >OOOH! So nice to see you! Teacher Elekid!< He said and the Elekid's eyes lightened up as he hugged the Abra back, it seemed the two went way back and they began to talk for a bit.
>So... Is the trainer treating you right?< The Elekid asked the Abra who looked at Quinn and then nodded. "Yes. She wasn't the one who beat me up, I was actually trying to protect her from a trainer and pokemon, but next thing I knew I was captured. It is okay though, she has taught me a new move and also gave me a chance to train and get strong. I can feel myself getting stronger and maybe even being able to evolve soon...< He said to the Elekid who looked all around him and then nodded before he went to tap his shoulder.
And then, BOOM! An Energy Ball was used from the Abra without warning and it hit the rubbish where the wall used to be and just dissipated in the air. >Woah?! What was that for?< Chief asked but the Elekid continued to observe... >Interesting... So she taught you energy ball, it is a very useful attack.< He said to the Abra before he walked over and looked at the other two who were still a bit nervous but calming down more because their new friend, Chief, trusted this being.
First, he started with the Pawniard. He tapped his left arm and the Pawniard uncontrollably used slash. He then tapped his right arm and he started to use night slash. Then, he kicked his left leg and he began to harden his shell with an iron defense. Lastly, he pushed him back and he sent a powerful electric sound at the Elekid which pushed the plug back. This caused panic in the Pawniard for a moment as he did not intend to harm the Elekid, but the plug pokemon just shook it off.
>Interesting... So you have four really good moves. Slash, Night Slash, Iron Defense, and Metal Sound. You and I can be a formidable duo as I have a lot of moves that the Metal Sound could be useful for. And I have Light Screen which makes your Iron Defense even more powerful.< He said to the Pawniard before he moved over to the Houndour.
Roon was a bit curious now to see what she could use, and also a bit scared because she knew the general rule of thumb here... The third was always the worst, and she had to be on her toes because he could just start attacking right now for no reason... She waited patiently for what he'd do and he continued with the same thing he did to the other two. First, the left paw and she sent out the fire ball attack. Then, the right paw and she created a scary roar that was amplified because she could make no sound and only could use terror to her advantage. It brought fear to the bones of Chief and Babe who both went behind Quinn to hide, but the Elekid continued to examine her. Next, he kicked his hind leg and suddenly she let out a small howl, creating some sound which had never happened in the mute Hound's body but somehow she made a sound and her body loosened and she felt her strength grow a bit. Lastly, the Elekid swept and kicked the pokemon to the ground gently, which caused her to jump in the air and slash the Elekid with a faint attack.
UH OH! She panicked now, why did she attack right there? Now she was done for! She was very scared but the Elekid simply nodded and smiled. >You are pretty good too... And you do well even though you are inhibited.< He said, noticing that the Houndour had no voice or very little voice. >You have a nice flamethrower that will get better... You have a faint attack which is very sneaky. You have howl which isn't loud enough to scare people but does boost your strength as I can tell.< He said pointing to the muscles in the body of the Houndour flexing at the moment. >And you have a roar which seems amplified by your lack of voice. Impressive!< He said as he examined all of Quinn's pokemon.
He then turned around, getting ready to walk away when Chief tried to stop him there, teleporting in front of him. >HEY! Where you think you are going? Why don't you join us? Quinn here knows absolutely nothing about pokemon. She is actually really useless in that field. We can use someone like you for our expertise!< He said to the Elekid who heard it but showed no sign of contemplating it, well except that he stopped and did not leave yet. He waited to see what would happen next, interested to see what this Quinn had.
He was the famous teacher of the Fuego Ironworks so if he left, he'd feel guilty leaving the pokemon here defenseless. But he was also very intrigued about Quinn's team and knew he could definitely develop them. It was an interesting dilemma he had to consider as he pondered for a second.

She looked back again and still Stellar had not followed her, and the morning sun was beginning to rise so she did not have hope that the girl would continue with her anymore in her journey. She knew that leaving in the middle of the night probably wasn't the best idea as the trainer would have no idea where she went or if she wanted company, so she definitely burned that bridge for the moment by leaving so soon. She tried to brush it off but also felt a bit of regret for just leaving someone who helped her so much in her journey. Until she ran into the Elekid who seemed to be helping her greatly as it was teaching all of her pokemon how to use their attacks, each of them utilizing all four at that moment. She pondered it for a second and realized that it may not be so bad. Although the trainer had left, a pokemon had taken its place and could mentor her pokemon.
She wanted to add it to her team so she took out a pokeball and decided that maybe she should chuck it at the Elekid and hope that it would join her. The Elekid saw the pokeball and knew what the trainer was thinking, having already given the idea some thought but he felt she should have to earn it and not make it so easy.
>HEY!< He said as he pointed his arm at the girl, >It won't be that easy to capture me!< He said to her which only alerted the duo of Roon and Babe as they felt a bit defensive and protective of their trainer. But they also wanted no part of the battle seeing how the Elekid was just so impressive and knew so much... They hoped that it would not come down to anything, but luckily the Elekid's voice took a new turn after.
>Why don't you battle me. Then we'll decide from that!< He said to her, and the Abra found an inkling to take center stage, as he walked up to face the Elekid. >Alright! So it will be the policeman against the teacher... This will be interesting!< The Elekid said as he happily decided to take part in this battle.
He made the first move, setting up a powerful light screen to protect himself from danger before he rolled up into a ball and shot forth at the Abra, hoping to damage him. But Chief was ready for it, using teleport he disappeared until he could make it behind the Elekid and then sent a powerful ball of energy at the pokemon hoping to damage him... But the Elekid was ready for that, he knew the first move probably wouldn't work so he created a large thunderbolt to destroy the energy ball and still zap Chief.
His maneuver worked to perfection as he was able to deal some damage to the Abra, but unfortunately he had used up all of his moves while the Abra still had one left. He was hurt, but not too badly hurt when his body started to feel a weird inkling. He seemed to have gained enough experience and was just waiting for something now. And soon after he found himself next to the bag of Quinn, tapping the evolution spray and he changed forms into a Kadabra, now ready to restart this battle.
>Woah! You finally got the experience you needed!< The Elekid said to Chief as he evolved. The battle was restarting again now.
>Alright. Lets see my new power!< Chief said as he honed in his psychic ability to send a powerful shock at the Elekid, this time with blinding speed which made it so the Elekid could not react in time and it zapped a good chunk of his health, even with the light screen intact. The Elekid responded by creating a large thunder bolt and sending it at the Kadabra before he turned his body into a ball of electricity and shot at the pokemon at the same time, combining the two attack to do maximal damage at Chief.
But Chief was now much stronger than before, he took a calm breath and healed up his wounds with his recover move, another neat trick he had just learned from the evolution, before he sent a large energy ball at the Elekid before adding in some of his psychic energy to strengthen the attack and hit the Elekid. The Light Screen absorbed much of it but the damage was still clear. The evolved form of the Abra was much more powerful than the basic form of the Elekid, and the damage done was very great in comparison to what he would have expected.
He started to get a bit tired and started to exhaust loudly. >This was an impressive showcase! I'm very happy you evolved.< He said to Chief before he was getting ready for a new attack. But before he could, Quinn had seen enough of the battle and chucked a pokeball at the Elekid, hoping to capture the pokemon before things got any worst.
The ball came after the electric plug and hit it in the head before absorbing him inside. Then, the wait was on to see if the capture was successful or not...

Attempting to capture the Elekid. Then thread is over.
Quinn smiled as she had finally added a very formidable pokemon to her arsenal with the capture of the Elekid. Not only was the pokemon a powerful pokemon she could add to her collection, but it also served a greater purpose as a pokemon teacher which she herself could not do as she knew nothing about pokemon. She normally did not like to have a pokemon out of its pokeball but the Elekid was different, she liked to keep this one out as she had it journey with her for protection and also for support as it was strong enough to get other pokemon to utilize their techniques and get their full potential taken care of. She looked at the Elekid and smiled at the pokemon, knowing how great it would be in her team. The Elekid looked back at her and smiled also, he knew he'd have a huge calling in this team, as he would be asked to help her catch a lot of pokemon and also train them to be the best they could be. And heck, he saw the Abra evolve within time so he was excited to get that happen to him also. The two walked out of the Fuego Ironworks, happy with all the progress they made as they moved on to their next adventure.
